Friends over Family

Cassy walked out of her house and sat on the porch. It was the end of summer, so she decided to soak up the last of the suns rays before fall came. It had been very boring this summer for her, the same old rout. Swim at Crystal beach, Eat ice cream with her brother Shane, and hang out with Mikey and Ryan at their cabin. Then at that point her mother's screaming inturpted Cassy's thoughts. "Cas- fuck, what is this doing here!" Cassy sighed, she had never been close to her parents , they cared about their business more then their own daughter. But their was always something about her brother that they absolutely adored. "Cassandra Clair! what the hell is this stupid thing doing in my entry way?" her mother said while holding up Cassy's art supplies box. "It's my art supplies mom, I'm bringing it over to Mikey's house. We are gonna finish our art project that we started to make a few weeks ago." But as usual her mother just threw the box down on the deck and walked off, not caring when she would be home or seeing she wanted to ask the guys over for dinner like a normal mother would.

Chapter 2

Cassandra walked to Mikey's not wanting to be late she began to sprint, the heavy box of paints and brushes wheighing her down. She was deep in her thoughts of the art project, that she didnt notice a hooded man start to walk up from behind her. The man then grabbed her shoulder making Cassandra scream and drop the box. "Hey chill Cass its just me!" The man had a familier voice so she turned around to look at his face. "Oh god ryan you scared me, dont do that you jerkface, I thought you were a pervy stalker!" she yelled at him giving a little pout face. "Me a stalker? well I never! how could you say something like that to me!" he made a sad face to reflect her pout. They laughed at eachother and Ryan helped with the box, they chatted an made fun of eachother until they got to mikeys place.
