24 Chapter 22: Unveiling the Truth

"YOU ARE RIGHT. I ALWAYS bullied you but, never did you ask yourself, why was I always after you and Zinat?" Rania spat angrily before walking away.

Aayat struggled to make sense of Rania's words but found herself unable to. She couldn't comprehend why Rania had such a deep-seated hatred for her. As she went about her day, the incident with Rania continued to play on her mind.

Later that night, as Aayat mulled over Rania's words, she wondered what she might have done to provoke such animosity. On the other side, Rania managed to calm herself. She looked at a childhood picture of herself with Zubair and whispered an apology. Rania then made a heartbreaking decision. She cut her wrist, allowing the blood to flow.

"I'm sorry you died; it wasn't meant for you," she whispered as she began to lose consciousness.
