CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE

McKenna stood in front of her new place of learning and she still couldn't believe it. She was now a student at the University of Toronto.....The University of Toronto.

McKenna had convinced herself that if she kept saying it, she won't wake up the next day to find out that it was all a big dream and she had been in a diabetic coma for two days….The University of Toronto.

McKenna exhaled through her mouth and smiled, it was going to be a great school year. She had everything she needed - books, a nice accommodation nearby, her best friend....the list could go on.

Yesterday night, Elena had told her she will be going back to Nigeria by the end of the week but if everything goes according to plan, she would be back in about seven months time to get her masters in business Marketing in Canada. Her best friend was coming back to Canada!
