1 CHAPTER 1: THE COLLEGE.

"Dahl, wake up!"

Ugh! I heard my mom but seriously I had no intention on getting out of my bed.

"It's the first day of college Dahl, Nora is already waiting for you."

Ok, that's what woke me up!

"Mom ! where is she ?"

"She's waiting downstairs and she looks pissed."

Yes I love Nora she is my best friend but being late pisses her off and many other things and I don't want to piss her off on the first day of school otherwise I will already be dead.

"Ok mom I'll be down in five."

Saying that she left and I rushed to the bathroom and started getting ready and by five minutes I mean FIVE MINUTES, I got ready and left my room with my bag and ran to the kitchen from where coffee was being made and my body directly got attracted to it.

When I reached the kitchen I kept my bag on the chair and all I could see was a pissed of looking Nora and nothing else except the disturbing smell of coffee.

She looked up at me and her pissed of face turned into anger and she just glared at me.

"Good morning mom! Good morning Nora." I smiled ,ignoring her glares.

"Dahl we do not have time for this lets leave we are going to be so late and all because you overslept."

"Yes Nor, let me atleast drink my coffee please." I requested.

But before I could pick up my coffee I was grabbed and my bag was thrown towards me. I sighed having no choice. I put my bag over my shoulder and was grabbed out of the house.

"BYE MUM" I shouted before leaving the house I'm pretty sure the whole neighborhood must have heard it.

I turned towards Nora who was still holding me.

"Ok you can leave me now."

She left me and I was almost going to fall but I didn't. we started walking to school and then I noticed Nora's appearance. She was wearing tight jeans and a crop top and Addidas shoes, her hair was tied into a high ponytail with the band that was matching her top. Her hair was a bit scattered and her lip gloss was almost gone. All I was wondering was what happened to her I have never seen her hair messed up or her lip gloss not perfect.

I was going to ask when she spoke up.

"You are so innocent Dhal." She said shaking her head.It's like she read my mind!

"What happened Nor, did your comb break or you ran out of combs or lip gloss and that's why the faded one?" I said trying to hold my laughter in.

"Oh my God, you cannot be that stupid, can you?"

"I'm just kidding Nor I know you met Austin."

Austin and Nora are the star couples of our college and this is the reason why she doesn't like getting late because she needs to spend time with him.

Austin stays in my neighborhood and they met when they were 14 years old and have been in love since then. Nora and I have been best friends since the 1st grade and we have been inseparable. It's the first day of our 12th grade and I am not excited .

Because there are all irritating personalities in our college. what would you expect in an Indian college. Yes, I am born and brought up in India and let me tell you, it is a beautiful place but you have to be aware of the aunties here .

Seriously they should join the aunties spy committee, if that is even a thing cause they are worse than high school rumors and spies.

Yes they have spoken about Nora and Austin but we, nor my mom or Nora's mom care about their talks. They are just jobless people. Who don't think about what their children are doing but about others kids.

Nora and I walk to college, call it whatever you want but its just one more year that I have to bear with.

We reached the college on time by walking fast and I was already panting I have zero abilities regarding athletics I should start walking.

The bell just went off as we entered and I silently thanked the Lord.

I looked at myself , I am wearing high waist jeans and a white crop top with Shinchan's print on it , yes I love shinchan. And I tied my hair into a half ponytail. I had applied some kajal and thats all . I was satisfied and would not be judged.
