110 Learning

I grind the small, red berries up just like the woman told me to as CheeChee watches from the side. She watches me and nods her head as she softly says "I see that you've had some training in this... you're a fast learner." I give her a small nod as I keep going. Fern taught me everything she knows and more.

I tried asking for her name was but she just doesn't understand. In the end, I just gave up. We all sit in silence in the small cabin with nothing but the candles and small fire giving off light. Dark shadows sit in all the corners of the cabin as I mindlessly continue.

She suddenly speaks again "My father and brother we both eaten by one of the Phantoms... My mother and I didn't think we'd ever see them again but two years later... my father and brother both showed up."
