122 Breathe Out

After a while, my brother leaves looking a little better. He was really kicking himself but it wasn't really his fault. He didn't know and he only wanted to do what was best for all of us. In a way, I'm no different from him. I got so caught up in trying to 'fix' things, I got in way over my head.

I was so worked up, trying to save everyone when I myself needed saving. I'm not a hero... I can't save all those people from the City. Even if I want to... I can't. I'm not strong enough and to be honest, I'm not smart enough to go up against Silas.

I'll either end up getting myself killed or someone I care about. Was I turning my back on the Cities? Yes... but... I'm only one person. Even if it was me, Thane, and everyone else here... it still wouldn't be enough to go up against Silas and his people.
