Myra smirked as she held her twin swords to Cadmus's throat. She then said,

"Do you have any last words?"

Cadmus's smirked as his golden eyes sparkled. His cheeks flushed red as he drops on his knees in front of Myra and hugged her knees. He then leaned in and kissed the top of her steel armor knee clasps.

"Don't you think that your voice may be too cold for our first meeting my dear?"

Myra's patience hit its limit with Cadmus's words. Her amber eyes shone red as she dropped her swords and grabbed Cadmus's dark hair. She then brought his face to her knee with a crack. After which she threw Cadmus to the red carpet below as he coughed and covered his bleeding mouth.

Myra clenched her fists as flashbacks of what had happened a couple of hours earlier kept repeating themselves in her head.

A deep rumble of laughter filled the empty throne room. Myra looked at the coughing Cadmus with hatred as she bent over and pulled his head back. She then hissed.

"You must be a person who does not fear death for you still have the courage to laugh."

The world suddenly flipped. Myra blinked as she suddenly looked up at Cadmus's flushed cheeks and heavy panting. His golden eyes sparkled with amusement as blood dripped down his chin and dribbled onto Myra's chest plate.

Shock filled her. It only took the man a second to throw her to the ground and pin her to the floor. She struggled against his vice like grip and weight as he sat on her. Cadmus then bent over and buried his face into her neck as he sniffed.

"The smell of my blood and that of your sweet neck are a rather beautiful fragrance."

Myra flinched as Cadmus licked the side of her neck. He then pressed his soft lips to her neck as she cried out and tried to push him away.

Cadmus chuckled before raising his head and bringing his face close to Myra's.

"Seduction must be a hidden talent of yours because I'm truly enamored by you my dear."

Myra filled her mouth with spit then delivered it forward. Cadmus chuckled as he took out a handkerchief and wiped the spit on his face. Myra then hissed once more.

"Get off me you disgusting bastard! I've come to kill you not seduce you!"

Cadmus tilted his head to the side before smiling and leaning forward. He then whispered in Myra's ear.

"Please do not say such harmful words my dear. If you apologize I will make sure to ignore this tantrum of yours."

Myra closed her eyes as her head pounded. She felt anger pulse throughout her entire body. It electrified her veins and boiled her blood. If it was possible for a person to explode then Myra would do so. Myra then opened her eyes once more to see a concerned Cadmus look down at her.

She then said in a low and threatening voice.

"I will not repeat this again. Get the hell off of me. If you do not, then you will referent not heeding my warning."

Cadmus chuckled as he cupped Myra's cheeks with his large hands. He then smiled and kissed the top of her head softly.

"I apologize my dear but it seems like I am not able to do such a thing. What are you going to do about it."

Myra burst into laughter hysterically. She then chuckled as she sobered up. Her amber eyes shone an orange-like red. Matching the color of the fire which had burned all those who meant everything to her a couple of hours ago.

Cadmus coughed blood as he looked down to see a dagger protruding from his abdomen.

Myra chuckled as she pushed his body off of hers and stood up. She then brushed off the dust from her silver armor and said giddily.

"You foolish King. A man like you could never manage dealing with a warrior like me. Killing you so quickly was never my intention, but with this the souls of my brethren can finally rest. You must be the most annoying person that I had ever been forced to kill. Enjoy the depths of hell and don't forget to send me a letter from it. I'm curious about the place that I will be spending my afterlife in after all."

Myra waved at the body which laid on the red carpet. A book of crimson staining the carpet and trickling to the limestone tiles near.

As Myra set her hand on the knob of the large mahogany door a fit of dizziness suddenly overtook her. Myra rocked on her heels before her body fell to the ground below. She coughed out a dark liquid as her vision blurred. Three thin and long needles protruded from the nape of her neck. She blinked multiple times as dizziness filled her. A second later her body get as if it were being ripped apart as her organs yelled out in protest.

Myra closed her eyes as she recognized the fact that she must have been poisoned. As she desperately tried to cling onto a shred of consciousness she remembered the kiss that Cadmus had placed on her neck. He must have placed the three poisonous needles at the same time.

Myra chuckled as she opened her eyes once more. The melodic sound of Cadmus's laughter filled her ears as his silhouette filled her vision. Exhaustion filled her as she closed her eyes and drifted out of consciousness.

The last thing she heard before the world was plunged into darkness was,

"Sleep tight my dear, we do have much to do together once you wake up after all."
