"Hey … wait!"

The voice of a little girl in the middle of the Gore Forest.

"Hurry up! You're so slow." Said a boy in front of her, walking with hasty steps.

The sound of their footsteps could be heard clearly filling the silence of the Gore Forest.

Leyza was exhausted and the soles of her feet felt like they were being stabbed with sharp thorns. Every now and then he stopped in his tracks and held his feet.

They have been walking for almost 4 hours along the path of Gore Forest.

"I told you not to go this way." He said again, wincing in pain.

"Don't worry, I've walked this path with Grandpa Mose before."

"Are you sure you still remember it?" Leyza was getting pessimistic.

"Come on Leyza, you have to trust me"

"But I'm afraid, you don't go too fast."

"OK. I told you you should be able to move quickly so we can get home soon. I'm afraid your parents must be looking for you."

"Tetra ... I'm scared!"

"Leyza … quickly how about you hold my hand."

Leyza ran to Tetra and held her right hand. They walked hand in hand with fast, fast footsteps.

The path they took was rarely passed by people or even no one had ever passed through the path. Tetra tries to find a way out of the Gore Forest. The forest is famous for being haunted and very mystical. But Tetra was never afraid of the stories of the people in his city. Because he and his grandfather once passed through the Gore Forest and returned home safely.

Black mist started to come out and slowly covered the lighting of Tetra and Leyza's path. In fact, Tetra himself was afraid not because of people's stories about the awesomeness of the Gore Forest but because of his vision.

Tetra can't see clearly when the sun starts to set. I don't know how he's felt since he was little. And now Tetra is trying hard to get out of the Gore Forest. Tetra's breath hitched, he didn't care and kept walking against the dark fog covering the road along the Gore Forest.

"Tetra, I'm tired … can we rest for a bit." Leyza whined, stopping her footsteps.

Leyza's face looked pale, she gripped Tetra's hand tightly.

Tetra couldn't see Leyza's face clearly, but he could feel Leyza's anxiety.

He really didn't even have the heart to see Leyza at this time. His eyes, yes, Tetra's eyes couldn't see clearly at all, he only saw a faint shadow of Leyza's face and body. He gripped Leyza's hand tightly. He hoped that Leyza could last until the end of this journey.

"What's wrong with you?" Tetra tried to open his eyes, which were small or narrower. He saw Leyza standing looking down holding his legs, 'Aaaahhhh Leyza I'm sorry! Tetra muttered in his heart. He immediately hugged Leyza tightly.

"What's wrong with your legs, are you hurt?" Tetra asked her.

Tetra could only feel that something might have happened to Leyza's legs, but he couldn't be sure because he couldn't see clearly. Tetra sat in front of Leyza and held Leyza's legs.

'I'm sorry Leyza, I really don't know the condition of your legs.' Tetra tried to cover up his current situation.

"Be patient, I'm sure soon we will arrive at the edge of the lake near your house. I'm sure I wasn't wrong again." Tetra reassured Leyza, but he himself was already unable to see.

The weather that afternoon was not friendly to the two of them. For some reason the air suddenly changed and the fog gave off its aurora. Everything seemed dark, dark. Tetra tried to open his eyes wide.

"If you can't use your two eyes to see, you can use your mind's eye to replace your two eyes, you understand Tetra." Those words were always ringing in his ears when he experienced things like this.

It was Mose's grandfather who taught him about mastering his own heart and feelings.

"You can still walk right, Leyza?" After a while, Tetra panicked seeing Leyza's condition. He tried Leyza's face closely, but ... still he couldn't see her clearly.

How could a spoiled girl like you be this tough, he thought. What are you doing, Leyza? I'm sure you won't be able to forget this journey for the rest of your life.

Tetra kept muttering to himself, he really felt sorry for the girl.

Tetra was still trying to look at Leyza, dimly. And finally because he couldn't stand Leyza's condition, he only did this in order to get to his destination quickly.

"Hey ... what are you doing?" Tetra suddenly sat in front of Leyza and told Leyza to get on his back.

Leyza froze ... what was he doing?

"Hey ... don't be daydreaming, hurry up... don't you want to go home?" Tetra said.

"Oh … yes … but … but …" Leyza still dodged.

"Never mind, I know you're tired ... Hurry up!!" Tetra's voice seemed to command and finally

said Leyza clasped her hands around Tetra's neck.

"OK … Are you ready?"

"Mmmhhh ..." Leyza replied.

Tetra carried Leyza quickly and walked along the path that he believed was the way to their house.

Maybe if only when he came home from school, Leyza didn't force him to go somewhere behind the school building. He and Leyza weren't going to miss the school bus and struggle like this. Leyza forced herself to follow him. Leyza told him there was something she wanted to show Tetra.

But unfortunately, it turned out that when they arrived at the place Leyza meant, that place was gone. Tetra was still thinking about it. What place did Leyza want to show him that she had to experience something like this?

And Tetra, Leyza must have known the consequences for his actions at school. It's going to be like this ... I don't understand what you're thinking, Leyza.

Tetra closed his eyes, it was the only way he wouldn't feel scared and lose his sight. His feet were walking fast and he was breathing heavily.

"Tetra …" Leyza's voice was very weak.

"Yes." Tetra replied

"Are you tired?"

"Oh … I am … hmmm … I'm fine, Ley."

"Are you sure, shouldn't you just put me down. Just let me walk alone. You must be tired of carrying me."

"I told you I'm fine."

"But ..."

"It's coming soon." Tetra convinced Leyza, but Leyza never knew that along the way Tetra had closed his eyes.

Tetra is very afraid, maybe at this time the entire city of Taron is looking for the two of them, as well as Grandpa Mose.

What he was most worried about was Mr. Coccus and Mrs. Coccus, Leyza's father and mother. They must be very sad and agitated right now, and Tetra couldn't imagine it.

Leyza is the only daughter of the Coccus family. And what he knew while being with Mr. Coccus's family, Leyza was treated like a princess in her house. Tetra knew how Mrs. Coccus was feeling right now.

If anything happened to Leyza, Tetra would never forgive himself either.
