3 Chapter 3

Morgan POV

My friend and I all meet up at my place. Everyone who drove parked their cars in the driveway, we are now congregated in my room.

"Okay, Alisa. Now is the time to bring me back up to speed." I say, leaning against the wall on my bed.

Everyone perks up wanting a refresher just in case they missed out on the latest news. In our group, Alisa is the one to go-to for the most recent and interesting news. She has a big role in the witch community which helps keeps her in the know. Alisa Kimble is the next matriarch of her coven. She was chosen for the role due to her magical prowess. The youngest of her coven by two months, she is the most knowable and strongest in magic.

"Rumor has it the wolves have been fighting for to be the next Alpha. The old Alpha has recently passed due to a recent fight with rogue wolves."

"Well shit. That sounds ominous." Cate says with an unpleasant look in her face.

Cate Tate, half-Fae is the one you talk about hiding things in plain sight. She is a master of deception and illusion. Her skills are one of the only reasons she is accepted in the Fae community. The Fae, in condor, are fucking assholes. The other two reasons they accept her are because one, she is the daughter of the current Winter King and second because the Summer Queen has named her heir to her throne.

"Yeah, it kinda does sound that way," I say, feeling a bit uneased.

The Pack tends to stir up trouble when they are fighting among themselves. They tend to bring other supernaturals into the problem, making the issue get out of hand. Most of the time it is not intentional but this is the reason why many who are not Pack try their best to leave their problem to be dealt with by them.

"The next Blue Moon will be next month. My covens elders told me that you, Morrigan Eliza Lupine, and you, Aine Crescent Lupine must be in attendance." Alisa informs us.

Anna frowns, at this while I just feel confused. Why are we need at a Witches Circle during a Blue Moon? Witches Circles are closed off to outsiders during a Blue Moon always, there are rarely any exceptions to this rule. If an outsider is told to be in attendance to a Blue Moon Circle there are things in the works beyond their knowledge. This also one of the highest honor in the Witches community. Choosing to not be there is consider disrespectful and this will get on shunned from the Witches community. They will not work with from that point on.

"Explain to me why they had to be full-named for you to extend to the invitation?" Marcus asks.

"I'll explain," Kira says. "To many of the supernatural communities, names hold power. Like for explain, when you know the true name of someone, you are holding an unknown power over them. This is why many do not give out their names to just anyone."

He nods.

"I see, in a way it like a secret that you can blackmail someone with."

"Right, exactly like that."

Marcus and Kira are both messengers to the Gods. They call themselves Ambassadors of the Gods. They are both able to travel between the planes. They deal with every God of every myth.

Kira Matters, Ambassador of the Gods. She is a demi-god, her mother slept with a God but does not know which God and she will never found out. Saven, Kira's mother is an alcoholic vet with PTSD. With no other family to take her, Kira is being raised by the system. Her foster parents by luck are apart of the supernatural world.

Marcus Leath, Ambassador of the Gods. He is a reborn human, meaning that he is living a second life. He did not go into much detail about this but what he did say is that he owes The Morrigan, Celtic Goddess well know as to be a figure-head of battle, a favor that she has not cashed in on yet. For the time being, she chooses to allow him to carry messages between planes.

"Let's not get too off-topic, but do you know why?" Anna asks.

Alisa shakes her head.

"I am not privy to the reasoning behind the Elders decision."

I nod.

"Please keep us informed on the date, Alisa Jane Kimble of the coven Lake Frost. Bless be."

She smiles.

"Bless be and all will be well," She stands up, stretching. "The last tidbit I must inform you of is High Priestess is with having a baby."

I suck my teeth. Pulling out my wallet, I take two twenty dollars. I hand one to Anna and the other to Marcus. Kira laughs, shaking her head. She pulls out her wallet handing me sixty dollars.

"Y'all had a bet?" Alisa asks, rolls her eyes. "What were the bets about."

Anna grins, very happy that she robbed me of cash.

"Marcus and I bet Morgan about a month ago that the High Priestess was going to announce her being pregnant within two months, she said to give it four months. Kira bet that she would announce it in January and Morgan said that it would be before Thanksgiving."

Alisa rolls her head and yawns.

"For the most part that is the main portion of everything that you missed. After school tomorrow I need everyone to follow me into the woods."

We all give her a confused look but say nothing and just nod. Sometimes it is best to just nod and not ask too many questions. Kira and Marcus stand up.

"We have some business to attend to but we should see tomorrow in the woods." Marcus says.

"Great, bring me back the Greek chocolate you owe." Anna reminds him.

He chuckles.

"Yes Queen Anna, I shall bring the chocolate to you."

She smiles at him. Everyone else rolls their eyes. Anna and Marcus are the classic "Will they, won't they" pair. Most like us think the two should date and get it over with but we won't try and force it. I just hope that they either date or at least stop being so cutesy with each other. It is getting quite old.

Kira and Marcus make their exit, plane shifting instead of walking out the door. The two of them are lucky that we have gotten used to them doing that otherwise, we would have problems. Once those two left Cate and Alisa also leave, having to warp up a couple of things at home.

The next day after school we all meet in the woods.
