Her Decision

"I want a divorce," Rory told Liam. 

She didn't want to wait to talk about it. There still was some hurt left in her heart when he came and asked the same from her without even talking to her about it. It might have been a leftover resentment from the past, but she didn't want to wait to tell him that.

It's impossible between them after this.

She expected him to react to that negatively. She thought that he might say that he won't agree to it, or that there was a chance that he wanted to bring that up himself. She didn't think that he wanted to be with her all that much.

He said nothing. The window was in front of his face and the sunlight illuminated his skin. But he would look much better in the moonlight as she had known.

She closed her eyes remembering the past she thought would be her future.
