In the Renaissance period where arts thrive, and beauty was immortalized, one woman stands out; Simonetta Vespucci. Not many remember her name but many have seen her beauty.

Her face has been prominently featured in paintings by the likes of Botticelli and quite possibly Piero di Cosimo. Despite the fame of her splendor, there is little knowledge of the woman that was emulated as Venus.
