11 Chapter 11: The shock

I waited for the weekend eagerly, at last weekend arrived and I was out of luck when the new CEO asked me to go with him for a business meeting . I couldn't deny as it was related to the company. We entered a luxurious restaurant and took the seats which were already booked by the company. The place was quite silent and that was the ambience required for any professional meetings. We were waiting for the clients as they were nowhere to be seen. I asked about the clients business and also about the contract we gonna deal with them, but he didn't speak a word instead asked me to order something to eat. The server came, took the orders of mine . I pushed the menu towards the CEO when he asked me to order for him also, I was panicked as I didn't know anything about his tastes so I just ordered some random spicy things to take revenge for his rude behaviour.

After few minutes the dishes arrived on the table. I couldn't control myself after seeing such delicious stuffs in front of my eyes. I started to eat and after few minutes I remembered that CEO was also sitting. I just took glance of him and saw that he wasn't eating.

"Why aren't you eating? It's the most tastiest dish I have ordered for you."

"I know it's tasty but..."

"No buts...If you know it's tasty then start gulping in, if you don't eat it gonna waste and that would be a very bad impression on your subordinates."

CEO glances the food as if he knew that it was spicy, but I wanted to teach him a lesson that he would never forget in his life. CEO took the first bite reluctantly, then the second one and the next one. Thus I forced him to eat the whole dish on the plate. I too had finished my dishes just then I saw that ceo's face was turning pale. When I enquired about him he said that he was fine and he tried to get up when Suddenly fell on the ground. I was panicked and called the ambulance immediately.

He was admitted to the city hospital where doctor said that he couldn't eat spicy food and as he had eaten his conditions had worsened. After an hour and so Ms. Bringanza and Ms. Sunita came to the hospital. I was surprised to see them in the hospital at this time. I stopped Ms Briganza and asked the reasons for their arrival. Ms Briganza said that Prince Vir suffered from severe intestinal injuries due to eating spicy foods. When I heard those words I felt that the whole world around me had fallen, the earth beneath my feet moved. My whole mind was blank and couldn't think of anything. Ms. Sunita was talking to the doctors and was asking about Prince Vir's present condition. Doctors said that the internal injuries are more so it might take some time for him to recover. Ms. Sunita wanted to meet to Prince Vir, but she saw Me standing in front of the gate. A slap came from somewhere and later I realised that it was Ms sunita who did so.

"This is the reason I wanted him to be far from you, you are the one who is more danger to him."

"I accept that I did intentionally but I didn't knew that he was Prince Vir."

"So you did it intentionally! then there is no one who can save you from police."

"I didn't knew that he couldn't eat spicy food, if I knew it I would have eaten the spicy part instead of him."

"No need for that now, just be prepare to go to Jail, and I will be the one who will see that you won't get bail and will die in the jail itself."

"Ms. Sunita please forgive me , I didn't mean to do it."

Just then police arrived and I was arrested , was put behind the bars. My mother and Vishal got the news and came to meet me. Both were crying I consoled them said that everything would be fine and he will out soon. On the other hand Prince Vir recoverd and was conscious. He saw his mother and Ms Briganza sitting beside him.

"How are you dear? Do you feel alright? Do you feel pain in stomach? Why are you up lay down? I will ask Ms Briganza to call the doctor."

" Yes maa Iam alright , But did you see Rahul? He was the one who brought me to hospital right?Why is he not here? "

" Calm down first! Or else you would become sick again, don't think of other things as of now. Just have rest"

Just then the doctor arrived and said that Prince could be discharged and was asked to take rest for a week at home. Prince Vir reached the palace and was shifted to his room.When Prince entered his room all past memories of him and Rahul flashed in his mind. He could still feel the warmth of Rahul around him.He laid on the bed when another maid entered his room with food and medicines for Prince. Prince was surprised as Ms Briganza usually used to come to Prince room for serving. Prince enquired about Ms Briganza and got to know that she was off for a week and has gone to village.

A week passed and Prince Vir used to call Me but couldn't contact me. When Prince Vir was all fit and healthy to go for work Ms Sunita advised him to leave the company and look after the family business. Prince Vir agreed and also said that he would finalize the things with the company and come back after giving the resignation. Ms Sunita was happy as Prince Vir was accepting the things she is demanding.

Prince Vir reached the compony and asked assistant to call Me, but very soon he got to know that I didn't come to company from last one week. Prince was shocked and enquired about the reasons of me taking such a long leave. He was informed that I wasn't feeling good and some other issues. Prince Vir wanted to see me as I had already knew about him, he came to search me, but learnt that we had moved to other lane. He reached the address and finds my house, He knocks the door and my mom opens the door.

"yes ! Whom do you want to meet? "

"Mmmm Is Rahul here. Iam his boss, he hasn't come to the company from last 1 week so wanted to ask about his health condition."

"You all are fraud, heartless people, why do you care about my son even if he is dead why do you care? Just get lost , I don't want to see any of yours face, get lost.....you cheats....you demons, get lost and never show your face to us, get lost...(Crying aloud)"

prince's mind was messed up and couldn't understand the situation,thus he came back to company. Now he started working and at last when he joined all the dots he got know that something has happened to me. Prince secretly went to meet Ms Briganza to her Village. Ms Briganza panicked to see Prince Vir in her village and see also understood that Prince had got to know everything so there was no way of her hiding the things away. Ms Briganza welcomed him and told everything that had happened when he was hospitalized. Prince became angry and came back immediately he went to jail and asked the inspector to release me immediately. Inspector couldn't deny the orders of Prince and released Me immediately. Prince was saddened and disheartened to see me in a condition where I was badly beaten and couldn't stand properly. Prince threatend the inspector to be suspended for his cruelty. Inspector feared and claimed that Ms sunita told him to do so.

Prince got me hospitalized and called my mother and brother to look after me. He directly went to settle the things with his mom.

" Oh dear ! Come, did you settle everything with the company? come have a look about the new projects of our family business."

"Why did you do this ?"

"what do you mean ? I did this for the business of our family, it can't stop right?"

" I am asking about Rahul, Why did you do this to him? "

Ms. Sunita got the vibes that Prince had learnt everything about the incident .

"So you learnt everything about him then why asking me?"

"I believed once on you that you will good and accept my decision whatever it might be, But you don't even understand me. and You also tried to harm My boy, from today I stop calling you mom."

"Prince I did this just for your good, don't you see my love for you. If other families found about you loving another guy then what will happen to our prestige, don't you think about it ?"

" So you only care about money and prestige, this shows that you really don't love your son. Fine let it be but listen I love Rahul a lot and I can't live without him. So iam leaving you and your fake prestige forever."

"Stop there Prince , if you really care about Rahul then you must listen to me."

"Why should I listen to you? "

"Cause you want to meet Rahul Alive right? I don't know if something happens to him in the hospital."

"What do you want?"

"He will be free from all dangers until you stay far from him and close all relationship with him.Until you get marriage "

"I will accept your deal , but on one condition I will not inherit your business until I get married."

"Okay , Agreed

Prince having no options left he accepts and returns to the company. After a week I returned to the company and was troubled by colleagues many questions. Prince called me to his office, I entered , thanked Prince Vir for helping . Instead Prince talked rudely and also asked me to go to the airport to pick up Prince Vir's fiance who was arriving from London. I wasn't saddened or disheartened by prince's rude behaviour but my heart torn into pieces when I heard that he already has a girlfriend and I was assigned to pick her up.
