1 Chapter 1: The secret love

INTRODUCTION

' Rahul .....Rahul...Rahul... wake up its time up . We are getting late get up or else teacher would scold you..... come on get up .

' Hmmm... what's the time?

'it's already 30 past 8.'

'What ??? Iam late , today she gonna screw me down.'

'Get ready fast, we don't wanna miss the bus too.'

'yes, I will be ready soon.'

(leaving the house)

"Bye mom."

'Bye dear, be safe and eat well.'

(reached the bus station)

"There is still 5 minutes for the bus to arrive."

"Yes...."

(Iam Rahul , a 21 year old degree Student in my final year of graduation. And this is my younger sibling Vishal , he is 15 years old and is in his higher secondary class. We are total 3 in our family,we two and my mother. She owns a small road side restaurant and strives hard to earn a living for us.)

"Hey! Rahul bro bus has arrived, get out of your dream."

"Yeah! don't whack around, come lets board the bus"

"You don't seem to look good. Are you sick?"

"Iam all good just a bit tired thinking about something".

"Can I share the burden with you , aren't we brothers."

Rahul smiles at Vishal and says "Yes, my little sweet heart you are my brother . But you just concentrate on your studies."

Vishal feels overwhelming by hearing Rahul's words "Ok, I will try my best to top the class."

Hearing Vishal toping the class Rahul feels excited and promises to buy a Play station for him .

"Are you serious? A play station for me!"

"Only if you top the class."

"Then be ready with the play station, I will top the class for sure."

Rahul asks" How many months do you have for your final examination?."

"3months "

"That's good, Be prepared for surprise if you top the class."

(Bus halts near the school campus , Vishal kisses Rahul's cheeks and gets down and waves good bye with a flying kiss. Rahul waves him Good bye and bus moves on )

" what a fool Iam! I promised him to get a PS (play station) if he tops the class. How stupid Iam to make such a promise. What if he tops the class? What if I make him down by not fulfilling my promise?"

"Oohhh....Aaaaaaaah ... what shall I do? Shall I take more part time jobs? But there are already 3 Jobs iam working on. But to buy a Play station the pay is too low . Even if I work for 1 year the pay wouldn't be enough to buy a PS for him."

(Bus halts near the college building and he gets off)

"Hi! Rahul , How are you ? Today you look like something is troubling you. Any problem?"

"Hey! Nik, Iam fine No problem . Iam just worried about today's class assignment."

"Don't worry ! We gonna enjoy the class for sure."

(This is Nik, actually his full name is Nikhil. He is my classmate and best friend. He always helps me with my assignments when iam unable to attend the class due to my part time jobs.)

"Hope so.."

Nik sees Rahul to be sad " Come on.. Don't be so gloomy . you look just like a monkey who lost his tail."

Rahul laughs and they both move to the class .

(In the class , teacher enters)

"Students, as you guys are in the final semester of graduation. you have to Fulfill the requirements of the university to graduate. Everyone have to prepare a Report on any one of the assigned topics . For this you have to visit companies , collect data , interpret and prepare a report on it . it should be submitted before due date or else you will not graduate this year."

"Awwww! this is the worst thing that can happen to me."

Nik notices Rahul "What happened Rahul ? do you have any problem ? You wanna any help from me?

"No ...no ... Nik ,thank you for your concern But don't worry I can manage this one."
