A new girl in town

late night, a girl sitting on the seat of a bus gazing outside of the window and wondering how her life would be in this new town. Suddenly, her phone rings, interrupting her thoughts. She realizes it might be her mother calling. She opens her bag, take out the phone , looks at the phone screen for a few seconds and then picks it up." Hey mother, i am not there yet" she tells before her mother could say a word. "Alexa , call me as soon as you reach there. You must understand it is the first time you are going away from home for your studies, that too for 3 years. I told you that your father would come with you and help you with all that travelling and admission stuff but you refused, moreover you even packed your bags and the next thing i know is you left with your bags and now you are travelling alone , all by yourself. Why do you always do this? Why do you make us worry all the time?, says her mother. Mom i told you , i'll be fine.You both do not have to worry about me. I can take care of myself and see i am almost there. Don't you worry mom, i'll be just fine. You both take care of yourselves and i'll call you back as soon as i reach there. Ok mom , Good bye and she hungs up the phone. She sighs taking long breathe and relax taking the support of the window. Soon she falls asleep. She is having a beautiful dream when she hears a voice . Someone calls her by her name" Alexa, my child wake up, come here, come to me , i have been waiting for you for so long, come to me", the voice whispered.The only thing Alexa could see was a blurred image of a lady standing in a garden. The bus halted waking her up. She finally reached her destination but confused of what she saw in her dream. The conductor tells the passenger to come out of the bus as the bus will now go back. She comes out of the bus all confused but then she ignores the dream she just had and starts looking at the entrance of the tall building of the hostel right next to the college. She takes a deep breathe and speaking in her mind that she is finally here.
