Lucas Tate, the 12 year old boy, has blue eyes, brown hair and freckles just like is adoptive mother, Marisa. Olivia Rose, the 15 year old girl, has blue eyes and red hair like her adoptive mother Katie. They all live in Ensdale and are all wanting to move back to Katie's home town, Andosa.
