1 Chapter 1

"You must be Clementine Fallon." I glanced up at the guy who sits next to me and murmured this in my ear, with a foreign accent. We were in the rear of the club, surrounded by bright lights, but the entire building smelled like vomit and booze. The lights made everyone look better, smoothed out acne, canceled bad hair day. And I definitely had on my black fitted halter top with my fitted green cargo pants and my black boot heels with my hair in a messy ponytail.

This guy was the hottest thing I'd seen since being here. He was taller than me with beautiful long white hair that was probably dyed not to long ago, and he was wearing a white fitted dress shirt that complimented his build and black ripped jeans and black boots. What drew me in despite my misgivings was his dangling earring in his left ear and diamond stud in his right ear. Unfortunately for me, I was a sucker for a mafia type boy, and his earrings flashed at me in the club lights. I told him, "I might be Clementine." What I meant was, for you, I am Clementine. I'll be anyone you're looking for. "Who wants to know?"

"Noah Matthews. I just moved here." We were standing to close for a proper handshake, but he bent his arm and elbow close to his side, and held out his hand. "Really!" I exclaimed as our hands touch. This small town was in the northwest corner of Perry County, on the very end of Pennsylvania. A few newcomers did move here. But most of them were elderly men and women in bucket hats and suspenders. Noah pointed towards the bar. "I introduced myself to your friends over there, it seems you're a regular here."

"My friends are a riot." My best friends, Leo and Liam, don't really drink they just make drinks and I taste them to make sure there isn't too much alcohol in the drinks. "Oh." He took a sip of his blood orange margarita. "So what brings you here Mr. Matthews?" I made my voice sound sexy to roughen up the guy a bit. "Well I was here to check out the place but something or someone has caught my attention."

He glanced at my body like I was a sight he wanted to remember forever and I enjoyed it. "Oh really?" I made my voice sound like I was intrigued of the compliment. He held my hand and kissed it then soon let go but I didn't want him to. "How about I get you a drink, it's on me." He looked at me with those beautiful blue and green heterochromia eyes. "Sure I'll take a blue lagoon margarita." With that he left and not too soon later he gave me my drink.

"Thanks." I started drinking my drink. "So whats brings you here?" I stopped drinking my drink and looked up at him. "Well, one of my sisters "boyfriend" told me I should come and meet new people." I started drinking my drink again after stating why I was here. "You don't look like the type to talk to people unless they talk to you first." He starts drinking his drink again. "Well you're right about that." I put my drink down. "Come dance with me?" He put his drink down and took me to the dance floor. What felt like hours of dancing we stopped. "Let's have a drinking contest." My eye sparkled when I heard that.

"Sure, I like competition." We walked to the bar. "Tequila shots." After a few shots I won the contest but I was also drunk but was sober enough to drive home. "Ok, let's get home." I grab my purse and Noah and head out the bar to my car. "Since I don't know where you live I'll take you to my house."

I started driving to my house and soon after we arrived. I grabbed my house keys, purse, and Noah to get in the house. I helped him onto the couch while I went up to my room to take a shower and brush my teeth. I walked in the kitchen to get me and Noah some water for our hangover in the morning. Good thing I don't have to go to college tomorrow. I walked up stairs to my room to watch anime before going to sleep.

I woke up to the birds chirping and the sun shining threw my window. I climbed out of bed and took a shower and brushed my teeth to start my day. While I was heading downstairs I smelled pancakes, waffles, bacon, and eggs. "Good morning." I saw Noah cooking with his hair in a messy bun. "Morning." I sat at the table. "Thanks for bringing me here." I looked up at the tall man. "No problem, I couldn't just leave you there all wasted." Noah put the food on the table. "Eat up, it's my thanks for bringing me here." I started eating and so did he.

After we ate we cleaned the dishes.I took him home and we exchanged numbers. While driving back to my house I stopped buy the store to get a few things for dinner. "Thank you have a good day." I walked out the store and headed home. I opened my door and went to the kitchen to put the food up. While walking to my bathroom my phone dinged, it was from Noah."Hey, I just wanted to say thank you again." I smiled and responded, "It was no problem." After sending the message and setting my room up to watch anime and kdramas I took a shower, got dressed and cooked. I made some chicken alfredo and made some tea to drink.

I hear my phone ring while watching tv. "Hello?" I heard a man breathing and no words coming out so I hung up. After an hour into my show I got a message from and unknown number. "Hey Clementine, Its Ben." It was a text from my brother that moved to Korea for work. "Hey brother, How are you?" After sending the message I start to smile. I haven't heard from my brother in months. "I'm coming home tomorrow want to hang out?" I screamed with joy knowing my brother was coming home. "YES! I'll pick you up from the airport." With that I set my alarm knowing him he took the first and earliest flight. "Bye Clementine." I read his message and started watching my show again. Soon after I drifted off to sleep.

I woke up to my alarm going off. It's time to get my brother. I took a shower brushed my teeth and left in a hurry so that I wasn't late. While driving to the airport there was a lot of traffic. After an hour of driving in traffic I made it to the airport at the same time my brother was landing. I held a sign that said: Ben Fallon. Fifteen minutes go by and I spot my brother and he spots me.

"Hey." I hugged him really tight. "Hey, how was your flight." We broke the hug and started walking out the airport to my car. "I was sleep the whole time." Typical brother. "Of course you did." We got in the car. "So where do you want to go?" I started the car after putting on my seatbelt and waiting for him to do the same. "Ramen shop, I'm hungry." I chuckled and headed to the ramen shop that we used to go to as kids.

We spent the whole day shopping, playing in arcades, and swimming. "Ready to go home?" I look at my brother who looked tired from all the fun. "Yes I am." We got in the car and I drove him to his house and helped him get settled in. "Do you want to stay for a while and look at anime?" I look up from finishing the last touches in his bathroom. "Not today I have school tomorrow."

He looked at me and smiled. "Okay sister, I'll see you later then?" I walked towards him and hugged him. "You bet!" I grabbed my keys and left to my house. After two hours I made it in and texted my brother that I made it home safely. A wave of exhaustion hit me and I went up to my room, showered and put on my pajamas and slept.
