4 Chapter 3

Ema POV

I was walking to my school listening to my favourite playlist, bopping my head to every beat. As I crossed the road I looked to my right and saw a car coming straight at me at high speed. I closed my eyes not wanting to know what was going to happen next. suddenly I felt a pair of hands around my waist pulling me away from the road. I opened my eyes wanting to thannk the person who saved me but saw no one around.

I walked to school with guilt on my face.I felt extremely bad for not being able to show my gratitude.

" Hey! whats with the long face?" I heard Anne ask from behind me.

"Nothing, let's go to class"

"okay let's go". We walked to class and waited eagerly for lunch to arrive. The bell rang letting us know it was time to eat.

We walked to our lockers to put our bags and then rush to eat because I was starving. I opened my locker to find a note fall down again. I looked down to the note and heard the girls ooo-ing as they knew whom it was from. I picked up with a slight tint of rose on my cheek and slowly read it, this time making sure the girls werent behind me peeking into my note.

" Look before you cross the road Em, if it wasnt for me you wouldnt be standing there now! " I read. The gratitude you had for the person who saved me in the morning vanished and was replaced with disgust. This was not just admiring but now it was clear this so called admirer was stalking me. I looked to my right to see jake smiling at me ever so innocently.

"It must be him" I thought to myself.

I didn't want to make a big issue even though it was very frustrating and scary. I asked the girls to ignore the letter not wanting to make them worried. We had lunch and the day went by pretty fast. Throughout the day I knew there was someone watching me and I was sure that someone was Jake; This was now getting on my nerves but I was patient enough to ignore him all day.

I went for my part time job after classes and reached home safe and sound even though I had a feeling of being watched. I went straight to bed until I recieved a message from my classmate. It was none other than the principal's son who we called spoilt brat.

I switched off my phone and went to sleep not wanting to encounter the stalker or any annoying people tomorrow as I will be spending the day at the park with Anne and Edd. I just want to spend quality good time with my girls.
