Number 1

Her bright eyes were still seen at night, it glowed and even the moon adored her beauty, she should be the next moon goddess.

The activities during the day made her say it was the best day of her life and her parents gave a knowing smile when she told them how excited she was feeling.

Unfortunately, they could not make it to the vacation they had planned for the next day as her shining face turned dark just a few minutes later.

If someone had predicted that such a disaster would happen to her parents and their love, she would look them right into the eyes and laugh uncontrollably.

She had thought they were always going to live happily ever after as a family until she saw for herself what looked all like a bad dream.

Ella walked out that cold winter evening competing with the moon as her father would say she always does.

She tried to howl a little because she heard sounds from a distance but she got no response for her howl.

It was a full moon and they were all so energetic that she had no choice but to play outside a little more before going inside.

But at the same time she had to go inside since she had to be as warm as possible before her wolf freezes up inside of her.

It was one of the best nights of her life, her mother and father were celebrating their wedding anniversary.

This was a regular tradition every year and she was never tired of it and how it made her feel every single time.

Even though she was just twelve she knew what it meant to them and she appreciated their love.

She grew up in a family that was full of love and care, here and there and that made her a happy little girl.

At certain times, her dad and mom would scream at each other and even turn into their Wolf forms to fight each other.

Anytime she saw that, she would be filled with so much fear and even want to run away but it always ended with them kissing each other so passionately.

Now, when she sees them fight, she would just grab a cup of blood and drink it peacefully waiting for them to end their child's play.

They firmly went along on a lot and things that caused their fights were the silliest that she would not even fight with her friend and next neighbor, Christy on.

Seeing them do all that love stuff after they fought without shame even made her more in love with them.

If care was not taken, they would make her feel that she was invisible even after she made it obvious she was there.

Sometimes she made a face and just looked away when they were all over each other not minding that she was there.

Other times, she just smiled sheepishly and looked at them wondering how her own love life would be when she was older.

Her thoughts were so silly that she could only tell Christine when they were far away from home so her parents won't hear.

She would prefer the man to be just like her father since she looked exactly like her mother, because she believed that is the best way lovers should be.

Always, she was being reminded how she was a product of love which made her feel very special.

She bragged about how she was different from how other Alphas had their children then and no one argued with her.

Then, Alphas like her father were usually forced to get married and have wives that they were not in love with to be their mates.

It was an era where elders believed that there really wasn't a thing like your destined mate and other fables.

All they would say is that an Alpha needed someone that was strong enough to even fight side by side with them when there came a time for that.

The most important reason was that she should have a long life span to take care of the Alpha and his younger ones.

Since they were supposed to be away from home all the time, their mates or Lunas must not be in love with them.

If they were all intimate with them, they as Alphas would be unable to work effectively.

Everyone also knew that the female counterpart is always easily emotional and she would hold her spouse down at all cost.

The best way this was avoided was that they would have no prior relationship together.

After hearing so many stories, it seemed to Ella that they actually wanted someone that would just be their slaves.

She still saw that with some Alphas when they went pack house visiting and she pitied them.

Anytime she told her mother, she would just tell her that the Lunas were actually comfortable with it so it was no big deal to them.

However, Ella was warned by her parents and instructed that no matter what happened to her, she must get married to the one she loved.

She always laughed when they told her that and screamed "SURE", I know you, dad and mom would never allow me to marry anyone I don't love.

Her father was someone who always spoke the reality and told her that bad things could happen and she could be taken away from them.

But her father told her then that it wasn't like they Lunas were slaves to their husbands, she disbelieved.

He told her that she was correct but it was not that way all the time, the elders actually just wanted someone who would behave manly.

No one wanted a Luna that would fall for anything that comes her way once it makes her happy and gives her peace.

That way, most Lunas were even way stronger than their husbands, built to cope with whatever situation came their way.
