Chapter 60: Salamander is back!

Everyone started to move in small groups and Asta left with Mereoleona.

Asta and Mereoleona were on their way to a volcano, on Asta's right shoulder there was Salamander that from time to time bit his shoulder and on his left a small completely brown turtle with its eyes closed as if he was sleeping.

''What do you want to do with the Volcano?'' Mereoleona asked as she saw the sight of a Volcano not far from them.

''For this little one'' Asta said as he grabs Salamander.

''Are you going to charge him?'''

''Yeah''

''Seriously? you are not satisfied with that great amount of power that you have at that age?'' Mereoleona asked, she was confused. Her husband literally possess the Antimagic! He can counter every existence that uses Mana. It was a skill worthy of a King, practically no mana user could fight with her husband.

''It's something that I still can't tell you'' Asta said with a serious expression.

''...'' Mereoleona frowned, then she approach Asta and get on his back. And to Asta's surprise she bit his shoulder...

'Charlotte was right, she sometimes acts like a cat' Asta though as he saw his wive who looks angry.

''What the hell is your body made of?'' Mereoleona asked as she put her chin on Asta shoulder.

''Hahaha'' Asta laughed seeing how Mereoleona is acting, she looked pretty cute right now. She seemed like a child upset that she didn't get what she wanted.

''What is fun husband!?''

''You look very cute when you are angry'' Asta said.

''...'' Mereoleona's face was completely dyed in a red color, Asta wrapped his arms around her waist and moved her forward, he could see that beautiful expression now but it didn't last long. She wrapped her legs around his waist and hid her face on his shoulder.

''I'm Angry...'' Mereoleona said.

''Why wife?'' Asta asked.

''Why do you hide things? we are a couple right?''

''I know wife, but there are things that cannot be said because of the things it can cause'' Asta said as he caresses her hair. He still couldn't tell her that this is his second life, besides that there are stupidly strong people out there who get excited just by hearing his name or feeling his presence, what would Mereoleona do when she already realizes that there are more existences capable of giving battle to her husband? She would get excited, in fact she would go crazy and train like crazy. Asta wanted her to take it easy since she can't reach the level of those people so fast, unless she uses Salamander.

''Consequences? fuck the consequences, I just want that my husband trust me completely and that you don't have to hide things''

''You need to have patience with me Wife'' Asta said.

''Mhmm'' Mereoleona started to kiss his neck.

''I wonder what the people of the Kingdom would say if they saw you in this state?''

''What state, husband?'' Mereoleona said as she kiss his cheek.

''They will probably be quite surprised, but I also have feelings right? I am also a human, and as a human I can feel attraction for another'' Mereoleona said.

''They probably consider you more a Lioness Hahaha''

''Heh~ they aren't wrong'' Mereoleona said as she flashed a wild smile.

''We arrived Wife'' Asta suddenly said.

''One of my favorite places'' Mereoleona said as she look at the Volcano with a happy smile.

''Are you ready wife?'' Asta asked.

''Of course!'' Mereoleona jump from Asta and run towards the volcano, Asta looked at Salamander and said:

''It's time for you to cross the skies and space again'' Asta said with a big smile.

Salamander rolled up his eyes and let out a fart...

''...'' A vein popped in Asta's head, This guy really was a Dragon years ago?

Mereoleona was on the edge of the volcano, her body was covered with a reddish mana. Asta appeared next to her, his eyes were red and his skin pale. He looked at the lava from the volcano with an excited smile.

''Salamander evolves into a Dragon!'' Asta threw Salamander to the lava...

''...'' Mereoleona's face turned dark, She was thinking that his husband is going to do the things slowly but he just throw the poor Salamander!

The poor salamander fell in slow motion, he looked at Mereoleona with teary eyes as if he wanted her to save him. But unfortunately the woman would not do anything and she would simply wait. Without further ado, as if Salamander was a villain seeking revenge, he let out a great scream and sank into the lava.

''GRRRRRHAAAAA!''

Blob!

The minutes began to pass, Mereoleona and Asta began to worry...

''Husband! He doesn't evolve!'' Mereoleona said feeling worried.

''Ehh... This is not supposed to happen.'' Asta said as he passes his hand over the back of his neck.

''You kill him, Do you know how strong I can become if I had used it!?'' Mereoleona said feeling Angry.

''You don't need to be very strong, your husband can always protect you from any threat'' Asta said as he hug her trying to calm her down

''I don't need your protection husband.'' Mereoleona said.

''And my-'' Asta was about to said something but the volcano began to tremble.

''Hold on tight'' Asta said, Mereoleona did as he was told and hugged Asta as if she was a Koala. Black wings emerged from Asta's back and he shot up into the sky, waiting with great anticipation for the next events.

ROAR!!

A thunderous roar echoed throughout the place making Mereoleona and Asta to cover their ears.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

The lava began to be absorbed until the volcano was dry, then what happened next would be a scene that Mereoleona will remember all her life.

Swoooooooooooosh!

A gigantic 2km long dragon emerged from the volcano, its appearance was simply amazing. Sharp and bestial, its red scales gleamed with the sunlight. His golden eyes gazed longingly at the sky as he began to push off.

Mereoleona watched with shining eyes as the Dragon that was shot down thousands of years ago rose again and crossed the skies.

ROAR!

The Dragon let out a roar that parted the clouds, its wide open jaw displaying a row of sharp teeth. The dragon's expression seemed like that of a man who had lost something that he loved to do all his life, something that was part of his being but had just been recovered.

In a few moments the Dragon already reached space and looked at the planets, the moon, the sun and that strange purple cack that was still not far from this planet. Then without further ado he descended towards the humans who helped him regain some of his strength.

''You two'' Salamander said.

''Welcome back!'' Mereoleona approached Salamander and stroke his head like a little kitten.

''...'' Salamander was a little dumb when he saw how the woman seemed not to be afraid of him, rather she was looking at him with emotion and a big wild smile.

''Thank you.'' Salamander said as he turned his gaze to Asta 'Why that man look me like that?' Salamander was confused.

''Thanks to you, I was able to regain my intelligence and some of my strength. how could i thank you?'' Salamander said, He is not an ungrateful spirit, after all Undine and Sylph raised him well. Well in the process Undine threatened him with water and Sylph with Wind, so refusing was not a good option. Imagine the damn damage that Undine's water would do to a Fire Dragon like him, it would be damage x2 or x4 or even more.

''I plan to bring together all the spirits, and I want them to accompany me in this life together with my wives'' Asta said as he grab Gnome from his shoulder and show him to Salamander.

''Gnome! Who the hell did that to him?'' Salamander said, He didn't bother to answer because he was already planning to protect and accompany these humans, and he was quite worried about the state of his old companion.

What Salamander didn't know was that the man in front of him didn't need his protection, he is absurdly strong without having to use spirits now if he used spirits. He would go back to being a fucking avengers level threat.

Of course this is a lie, Avengers level would be an understatement. He would possibly become one of the strongest existences in the universe, again...

''Some motherfuckers made it go wild, but I took it upon myself to send 'em to hell'' Asta said as he show a big smile.

Salamander's golden eyes looked straight into Asta's, he simply owed this man a great debt. He saved his best friend and is even planning to bring them all together.

''Hey, What is your name'' Salamander suddenly asked, he was so focused on the man in front of him that he didn't notice a certain woman climbing on his back like an excited child.

''My name is Asta''

''Well Asta... Me, Salamander the Spirit of the Fire. The first who pierced the sky and the space, I am totally indebted to you, I will always accompany and protect your family'' Salamander said not knowing that would happen in the future saying that he would take care of his entire family, since that is including the great offspring that Asta will have in the future.

Well there would be a few, but the problem would be how energetic they would be. Due to the genetics of their parents...
