53 Chapter 53: A True Husband Protects His Wives from any Threat.

''My scale magic can detect Demonic Posession'' Kira said.

''And?'' Asta said as he looked at the people.

''You are a possessed de-'' Kira was about to said but Asta talked first.

''Being possessed by a demon and possessing its powers are two different things, Also, don't you think that if i had the intention of harming the kingdom, i would have done it a long time ago, or is this turtle not a sufficient example?'' Asta explain as he point the turtle. He was quite right, clearly he has the powers of a demon but he isn't possessed by it. If he hadn't created a carnage at the moment he entered the kingdom people looked at Kira waiting for his answer but Asta spoke again.

"Before you say anything, where were you when the kingdom was attacked? Or do you only appear when you feel like condemning someone according to your judgment? If you are a strong royal magician why didn't you help Julius to avoid said tragedy? Aren't you indirectly saying that your job is more important than the Kingdom?'' Asta asked, making the citizens' eyes widen. Kira can easily manipulate spells with his scale but didn't bother to show up...

''...'' Kira don't said anything and looked at Asta coldly, he wasn't going to get into a problem on such a scale and just walked out of the Kingdom until Julius sorted things out.

''He has reason! Why the hell does that man want to condemn the person who protect us and who wants to end the reign of a King like Augustus?'' A citizen said.

Slowly people started complaining and realizing that the situation didn't make sense, why does this man want to condemn the man who protected the kingdom?, who commanded a war with few magic knights and was victorious? all because he possesses the powers of a demon?

But what most burned the anger of the citizens was that the man flying in front of Asta had the power to save and protect many people, that he isn't a magic knight is a very convenient excuse, he also belongs to the Kingdom. So why didn't he protect the place where he was born?

At that moment Asta realized that he was facing a greater threat than the Devil Town from his first life or Lucifero his main target, a threat that he cannot allow to exist and that should be eliminated from the face of the earth immediately, no. Some girls who were on the roof of a house not far from them looked at Asta with different emotions.

''Yeah... but those actions our husband were very tender'' Noelle said remembering the Asta's instant change of expression.

''It seemed like it was the end of the world for him Hahaha'' Mimosa let out a soft laugh.

Charlotte's ear moved a little as she listened to Asta's wives speak, she still didn't understand well but after a few moments she managed to understand completely.

Asta felt an intense look and turned to see Charlotte who had red cheeks, he swore to have heard the word scoundrel.

Asta tilted his head looking at Charlotte as if wondering what he did to which she replied by turning away and ignoring him.

''What are you waiting for!'' Sylph said feeling impacient, she began to move from side to side and poking her head out from time to time to see what Asta is doing.

''I'm going Sylphie'' Asta stopped her movements and hugged her by the shoulder to calm her down.

''Hmm!'' Sylph nodded tenderly, she felt something and turned her head slowly only to meet the view of 4 women looking at her deeply.

''Huh?'' Sylph showed an innocent smile as she looked at Asta's wives who at some point approached.

''Are you Sylph?'' Lily narrowed her eyes.

The turtle began to shrink slowly, in Asta's hand there was a sword that shone brighter as it absorbed more Gnome mana.

''H-husband do you want to kill us? you are absorbing mana from a giant turtle!'' Noelle pinched Asta's waist.

''It's a spirit Wifey'' Asta said with a smile.

''With much less reason then!''

''It's a gift for our next visitors'' Asta said flashing a big smile.

''Gift? a fucking mana bomb? you have bad taste for gifts husband'' Mimosa said.

''I can't believe i kissed such a dirty mouth'' Asta said making Mimosa blush.

''H-Hey!'' Mimosa hit Asta's shoulder.

''He has reason, your guttural screams in the forest are an example'' Mereoleona said while nodding.

''Cousin!'' Mimosa looked at Mereoleona, she will always bring out what happened in the forest throughout her life?

''Hahaha'' Sylph let out a soft laught that sounded like a soft melody that for a moment hypnotized the people who stayed in the area.

Julius coughed to get Asta's attention as he tends to forget his presence easily.

''What do you want Julius?'' Asta said without taking his eyes off the turtle.

''You finished Augustus and Kira, as there were never people who decide who will be the King, me and the captains will vote'' Julius explain as he look Augustus who was on the ground, his body completely wounded.

''Do you think I need your vote? or your permission? I have the support of the entire kingdom, I end the reign of Augustus, and exterminate the greatest threat in the universe Damnatio Kira! And you think I need some stupid votes to elect me as King? You are wrong Julius'' Asta looked at Julius and the captains with his red eyes glowing making all of them tremble.

''Let's calm down'' Fuegoleon walked and stood between Julius and Asta, he swallowed loudly when he saw his sister was looking at him with a predatory gaze but decided to ignore her.

''I think that having to vote to elect him as King would be a great offense after everything he has done, we should just announce that he will be the new King'' Fuegoleon explain, but inside was different 'Don't make this damn monster our enemy!'

''I won't be the only one to rule'' Asta said abruptly.

''Huh?'' Fuegoleon looked at Asta confused.

''My wives will be queens too''

Mereoleona looked at Asta with a big smile, she likes what Asta was thinking after all there never was a queen but there was a Wizard Queen, people always said that the one who ruled should be a king. Something that confused her a lot was how the Wizard Queen managed to break that rule.

'Even though he is a human, he is a good husband' Fana began to respect this human more, he protected his wives from that great threat called Damnatio Kira and now he wants to make them Queens, she had heard several stories about Kings and they preferred to keep their wives below but this is the first time she sees one who wants them to be in the same rank.

The captains and Julius except Charlotte who was loking the turtle, started to leave, but Dorothy looked at Asta suspiciously before go. Even though she sleeps a lot she has read enough books to be knowledgeable about quite a few things just like Julius, but as long as she didn't notice any movement or ill intent coming from Asta, she wasn't going to cause a problem that would probably lead to her death perdition.

''I present to you the new family pet, Gnome!'' Asta held up a small and adorable turtle as if it were the movie of the Lion King.

All the girls, including the gnome, looked at the little turtle with glowing eyes. He looked super adorable, unlike the beastly and prehistoric appearance he had before, but one of the girls came out of her stupor and looked at the sword that seemed about to explode.

''Husband the sword!!'' Mimosa pointed at the sword that was trembling with a intense light.

''Ah lemme do this''

The sword stopped shaking...

''I thought you were going to kill us for a moment'' Mimosa sighed.

''Oh?'' Asta showed a naughty smile and then hit the sword again.

''Bonk!''

The sword started to tremble again.

''Huusband!'' Mimosa pounced on Asta like a wild beast.

Asta put the sword back in his grimoire and caught Mimosa hugging her, she looked at his eyes and pouted.

Asta flashed a soft smile and gave her a kiss on the lips.

''You are forgiven'' Mimosa kissed Asta's cheeks, then tilted her head and said:

''Why do you hug my thighs like that?''

''Nothing wifey, I am a lucky man'' Asta said but inside his thought was 'Fucking Damnatio Kira, just wait once my wives fall asleep i'll show you fucking hell.'

''Woman Give me the turtle!'' Charlotte who had stayed in place, threatened Mereoleona with her rapier as she approached her, after all she has to resort to hasty decisions for things like that turtle.

''Oh? You're approaching me?'' Mereoleona said as she flashed a wild smile that shows her canine tooth.

''I can beat you without getting closer fucking cat'' Charlotte said looking Mereoleona in a very cold way.

''Oh? Then come as close as you like, Icy Bitch'' The fire started to dance around Mereoleona.

''Icy Bitch!? I'm going to show you who i am damned cat'' Charlotte's body began to glow with a blue ligth as she approached Mereoleona, moments later several consecutive blows began to be heard.

''Who do you think is going to win?'' Asta asked, he was sitting with his wives, Lily on his lap, Noelle on his right and Mimosa on his left.

''My cousin'' Mimosa said.

''Charlotte isn't someone to understimate Mimosa'' Noelle said.

''But we're talking about Mereoleona no? She lasted a full day fighting against our husband'' Lily said remembering that day.

''Yes, but Charlotte has great talent and a huge amount of magic, she just can't control it well yet. But if we talk about her melee skills she would be at the level of Mereoleona if she uses her rapier'' Asta said.

''You don't think you've analyzed Charlotte very much?'' Noelle said looking at Asta with her eyes narrowed,Noelle wasn't the only one, Mimosa and Lily looked at him suspiciously too.

''Oh look the hostage wants to escape!'' Asta ignored his wives, then at the speed of light he caught Fana who was completely calm without having tried anything, then returned to his position with Lily on his lap and carrying Fana with one arm.

''H-Human get your dirty hands off my body!'' Fana said with a blush on her face.

Lily, Noelle and Mimosa looked intensely at Asta, they could smell it for miles, their husband was planning to take the heart of Charlotte, they had a very clear vision, Charlotte is like a gigantic frozen mountain and their husband is the sun that will peek out and melt it.

What they didn't know was that inside the frozen mountain there was an intense sun but that it was off.

''She is a closet pervert!'' Sylph who at some point had stolen the turtle from Mereoleona and Charlotte said as she sit behind Asta and hug him, she placed her chin on Asta's shoulder while looking at the pervert elf with a funny smile.

''What!? I'm not!'' Fana said but the blush on her face grew up, but the glances she gave to Asta's bare upper body gave her away.

''I thought you should change your title from hate to pervert'' Asta said making his wives nod.

''I'm not a pervert!'' Fana she said as her face turned completely red.

''The Horny Elf of the Night eye of the White Night~'' Sylph started to sing and the others began to follow her.

''Noooo!'' Fana let out a cry.

If Licht saw this his jaw would drop to the floor, seeing the hateful Fana having a fun time with humans.
