10 The School's Goddess

Mira cant help but laugh. Its surprising, but it seems that Kang Jun became her friend. She realized that he will talk to her whenever he can.

"Heh. So you're ranked 6th huh?" Jamie commented.

"That's right. If you need help on your studies, you can ask me. Aside from the fact that Im so handsome, I also have a kind heart." Kang Jun smiled.

"Why would I ask you? I have Mira. Her rank is higher than yours, so if I need help in my studies she would be the better choice right?"

Upon hearing this, Mira laughed while Kang Jun's smile once again froze.

"..." Kang Jun stood up. Forget it, these two will only bully him if he stays longer.

"Wait, I thought you're going to borrow my notes?" Mira asked.

Kang Jun stopped and sat again. "Gimme."

Jamie gave him Mira's notes that she finished copying. All of them started copying notes because they just found out that their notebooks will also contribute to their grades. Since Mira knows that this will happen, she started copying notes since the first day of the school. This is the reason why she is the only one who has complete notes.

"As expected of the ranked 3rd. You have complete notes." Kang Jun flipped through her notes.

"But anyway Mira, Im surprised that you didn't chose Jenny as your partner this time. You've always been together since first year."

Mira stilled. She was right that she shouldn't be hasty in changing her attitude towards Jenny. She stared at Kang Jun. They may not be close before, but Kang Jun has known her since Grade School. If she changed drastically, he will be one of the firsts to notice.

She tried to smile but it came bitter. "Im allowed to have a life of my own."

Kang Jun didn't say anything for while. Even Jamie stayed quiet. Both of them can hear the bitterness from Mira's tone but they kept quiet and didn't ask anything.

"Well, its not a bad thing. Truthfully, I like the you now better." He smiled at her.

Mira was stunned. Kang Jun laughed at her expression but didn't explain.

"Hey Mira, can I also borrow your notes?" One of her classmates, Sophie, asked her.

Mira was surprised but nodded. Sophie is considered a goddess in their campus, dubbed as the most beautiful girl in their school. Aside from that, Sophie is also smart and currently ranked 16th. Its normal to have cliques even in their campus. Since Sophie belongs the popular group, there was only a small chance that her and Mira's group who belongs to the nerds will cross. That is, until now.

Its probably because she now rarely hangs out with Jenny. She sighed. Jenny is beautiful too, but Sophie is on another level. This must be the reason why Jenny despised Sophie so much. Her light is being over-shadowed by Sophie's brilliance. And for someone who values the recognition of the people around her, this is undoubtedly infuriating. Because she was Jenny's friend, Mira was automatically forbidden to get close on Sophie to show her loyalty.

Mira snorted inside.

"Which subject would you like to borrow?"

Sophie answered her. "History."

Mira gave it to her. "You can take it home. Just return it to me tomorrow."

"Really? Thank you." Sophie smiled at her.

Mira was blinded by Sophie's smile. Even Jamie who is busy copying her notebook stopped to stare at her.

Just how many hearts has already been broken by this girl? How many more in the future? No wonder Sophie is called a goddess. Her smile alone made Mira and Jamie felt as if Aphrodite smiled at them.

"Are you really human?" Jamie asked her.

"Huh?" Sophie looked at Jamie blankly. She has no idea what Jamie meant.

"I mean, are you really Human? Not a goddess who got bored with life and pretended as a highschool student to amuse herself?"

Nice one Jamie. Mira thought the same thing.

Jamie's remark made Sophie laughed out loud. "I can see why Mira started ditching Jenny for you. You're funny. Im Sophie Andres by the way."

"Jamie Marisol. Are you looking for a boyfriend? My brother is pretty hot. If you and him ended up married, Im sure you'll have pretty babies."

"....."

"Dont mind her." Mira excused for her friend.

"What?" Jamie.

Sophie laughed. "Sorry but Im already taken. Thanks for the offer though."

That's right. Unfortunately for every male who is inlove with her, Sophie was already taken. Her boyfriend is also one of their classmates. Surprisingly, her boyfriend is not someone that you will expect. For a goddess like Sophie, her boyfriend should be someone who is smart, handsome and charming. A prince charming type of guy.

Mira looked to the guy at the back of the classroom. Jamie followed her sight. The guy they are looking at currently has a band aid in his forehead. His uniform is unbuttoned all the way, showing his white t-shirt inside. And the way he sat in his chair is definitely not the way a good student would. Over all, the guy looks like a gangster. The exact opposite of the type of the guy they are expecting to be a goddess' boyfriend.

"That's her boyfriend." Mira told Jamie.

"... Really?"
