Running Away

Mira unconsciously pressed herself against the wall when it started, her eyes wide while watching what's happening.

Justin was like a pro in fist fights. He immediately sent a punch to the nearest guy to him, making that person fall to the ground. Alone, he was fighting four guys which is impressive since it looks like they cant even touch him.

On the otherhand, Kang Jun seems to also know what he's doing. He dodged an incoming fist before sending a kick to the attacker's stomach. However, another guy grabbed his shoulder and hit him in the face.

Kang Jun stumbled before regaining his balance.

Mira flinched at the violence happening in front of her. Her heart was beating so fast, like a frightened rabbit's heart. Even in the past, Mira was never a violent person and that still applied to the current her. Being in the middle of this kind of fight was a first to her.

Suddenly, her heart stopped. Where's Eugine? He has no talent for fist fight. Her heart went on panic while her eyes frantically searched for his figure.

Someone pulled Mira and she slammed towards that person's chest. She raised her head, her eyes meeting Eugine's.

Whoosh!

Their eye contact broke when Mira suddenly flinched. She turned around to see a bottle crash against the wall, exactly where she was a few seconds ago.

"Are you okay?" Eugine asked her.

She nodded while looking at his face. His lips was cut, while his formerly immaculate uniform is now covered in dirt.

A guy suddenly attacked Eugine, which made him pushed Mira behind him.

Everything was happening so fast that Mira wasn't able to take note of everything that's happening. What about Jamie?

Jamie was glaring at the guy that was nearing her. Kang Jun saw it but he was stopped by someone before he got to her. He has no choice but to take care of the guy first or he might get beaten up.

The guy tried to grabbed Jamie but she immediately dodged to the other side, before kicking him where the sun don't shine. The guy made a very interesting face, going from pained to horror while he slowly kneel to the ground, his hand covering his family jewels.

"Easy." Jamie said.

Kang Jun who was hurrying to her side froze when he saw what happened. He felt bad for the guy even though he's an opponent, feeling as if his own jewels was hurting too because of what he saw. He unconsciously gulped while looking at the smiling Jamie.

So scary.

Finally, they were able to overpower the other side. Jamie immediately saw this as an opening.

"Lets Go!"

Eugine pulled Mira who is the closest to him before running while Justin and Kang Jun did the same with Jamie and Song Yi.

The people from the other side who can still move chased them.

"Let's split up!" Luigi suggested. "They'll probably chased Justin more so you guys might be able to get away. They might not chase you." He said while looking at them.

The all nodded quickly before splitting up. Jamie and Kang Jun went left. While Luigi went with Justin and Sophie. Mira and Eugine turned right.

Unfortunately for them, the guys chasing them also decided to split into three, with two guys deciding to chase Mira and Eugine.

Eugine almost cursed. He looked at the girl with him who was gasping for breath due to running. He can also feel himself nearing to his limit, he wasn't sporty in the first place. He surveyed the surroundings, looking for a spot where they can hide.

"Go left." Mira said while gasping for breath.

Eugine looked at her before doing as she said. It led them to a lively street. His brain worked quickly. He pulled Mira into a nearby restaurant.

The two guys chasing after them stopped.

"Where did they go?"

"Look inside the restaurants." The other guy said while eyeing the big poster which is promoting the opening of the new restaurant.

Mira's heart was beating so fast. They were currently hiding behind that poster. She was pressed too closed to Eugine that she can feel his heartbeat.

She tried to stay still but she was too aware of his presence. Meanwhile, Eugine was also observing Mira. He noticed that the girl was too uncomfortable with him. Also, He usually dislike the touch of other girls but he was surprised that with Mira, he doesn't have that kind of reaction. He realized that although the feeling was unfamiliar, it doesn't bother him. It was even... a little comfortable.

He frowned in confusion. What's this feeling?

When Mira saw him frown, she froze. She thought that he must be frowning because he was uncomfortable. She was more than aware about his aversion to physical touch from girls. She tried to move away even just for a little but he pulled her again.

"Dont move." He said while looking in her eyes.

Mira flushed. They were so close that she was sure that he can hear how fast her heart was beating. To be close with him like this, isn't this what she dreamed of in the past? Why is it happening now? Now that she decided to move on and change.

Its like teasing a child for something that it couldn't have, then showing the object again when the child gives up to get it's desire back again. Mira thought that the heaven must be playing games on her.

How cruel.

Like that, they stayed for a few minutes.
