Childish Fights

A month had passed since then. Soon, it was time for their class to submit their project for their Physics class. They were so busy that they even spend their free period working on their projects.

Finally, Jamie cant take it anymore. She and Mira has been working on their project with so much focus that her brain is starting to hurt.

"Let's take a break." she said.

Mira had to agree with her. She stretched her body and saw that their other classmates were also working in their own projects.

"I'm going to the comfort room for a minute." she told Jamie.

Jamie yawned before looking at her. "Do you want me to go with you?"

"No need. I'm fine."

On her way to the CR, she saw Jenny who seemed to come from the comfort room. There are two other girls with her. Mira decided to ignore them.

"Look, its Mira." Jenny mockingly said. "Are you having fun with your new friends?" she sneered.

Mira dont want to talk to them, but they intentionally blocked her way. She exhaled in exasperation.

"Move." she said.

Jenny didn't move.

"What do you want?"

Jenny walked near her until they're face to face. "You must think that you were so lucky to join Kang Jun's group. How does it feel? Is it good?"

Mira moved away. "Can you please stop this? I don't want any trouble."

"That's funny. Considering the troubles I went to when you ditched me to be friends with that bitch."

When Mira took a step back, Jenny took a step forward. Jenny glared at her with so much spite that Mira felt suffocated.

"You think that b*tch is better than me? Hah! What a joke. You think she really thinks of you as a friend? Do you think that Kang Jun and the others see you as friend? Dont be stupid. As if they'll accept a loser like you. You're so ungrateful when I was the only one who took you as a friend. You'll see, once they are tired of you, you'll be back to the loser you are and---"

"Can you please shut up?!"

Mira finally exploded. There's only so much a person can take. She didn't mean to snap like that but Jenny is seriously consuming all of her patience. She didn't want to have these childish and immature fights but to hear what Jenny was saying was really too much for her. She fully knows that Sophie and the others are not like that, and to hear her friends be insulted like that was just too enraging.

"Don't think that they are like you. Unlike you, they don't pretend to be my friend just because of the benefits I could give them. Do you really think that I'll continue to be stupid and not know that you were just using me?"

They say that it's bad when a person who is not easy to get mad gets angry for real. This time, she's the one who took a step forward, forcing Jenny to take a step back.

"Also, stop calling Sophie a bitch. She doesn't deserve to be called that by you." she said while looking Jenny in the eyes.

Jenny cant believe what she was hearing. She never expected Mira to talk to her like this. She lost her composure and raised her hand.

"YOU--!!"

"Excuse me, from which section are you? Why are you not in class?" a voice suddenly interrupted them.

Jenny froze.

Mira saw that it was the librarian. The librarian also recognized Mira.

"Miss Cruz, is that you?" the librarian asked.

Mira nodded in greeting.

"Is there anything wrong?"

Mira looked at Jenny first before shaking her head at the librarian.

"Is that so. Then go back to your classroom. It's not lunch break yet."

Jenny glared at Mira before walking away.

Mira sighed in relief before continuing to go to the comfort room. After she relieved herself, she went to the sink to wash her hand. She stared at her reflection in the mirror when she suddenly realized that her hand is shaking.

She realized that this was the first time she stood up for herself without the assistance of anyone. She clenched her fist and exhaled.

'Its okay.' she told herself. She turned on the faucet to wash her face but suddenly stopped.

She listened and remained quiet. She thought that she heard someone crying, thinking that she was imagining things, she went on to continue what she was doing.

She was about to go out when she heard it again. Mira is definitely not imagining things. She was sure that someone is crying in the comfort room. Hesitantly, she checked each cubicle and noticed that one of it was closed.

She knocked on it, wincing because she felt that she was being too nosy.

"Excuse me, are you okay?"

The crying stopped.

A minute had passed before a small voice answered her.

"Yes. Im fine."

"Are you sure?" Mira insisted. She noticed that the floor was somewhat wet as if a huge amount of water had been spilled.

Remembering that Jenny came here before her, Mira realized what might have happened.

"I'm really fine." the voice on the other side of the door answered.

Mira no longer insisted. "Okay."

She didn't immediately went back to the classroom, instead, she went to her locker to get something before going back to the comfort room. Mira knocked on the cubicle again before finally leaving.

Ten minutes after Mira left, when the comfort room is once again empty, The girl inside the cubicle got out. She was surprised by what she found.

A plastic bag was hanging in the knob outside of her cubicle. When she checked it, she found a set of P.E uniform inside it bearing the initials of C.M.R

The girl looked at her own wet uniform, then looked at the PE uniform inside the bag.

She sniffed before going back inside the cubicle to change, her heart feeling grateful.
