Shikaku Nara Pt.3

<POV Shikaku>

"Well, this will be fine for two days," I said, leaving the room.

Before leaving, I said: "See you in two days at Training Camp 5."

"Ok," I heard Takeru reply before I left.

<Nara Clan, House of Shikaku>

"So you finally arrive," I heard an angry voice.

'Here we go again,' I thought, deciding to try and get this over with quickly: "There was trouble with Takeru."

"… What happened to him?" Yoshino asked coldly.

I could only sigh when I saw her in that state: "Don't worry, it's nothing serious. We already have a solution."

"If so, you wouldn't have told me about the problem," Yoshino said.

After looking at my wife for a few seconds, I gave up: "The techniques of the Yamanaka Clan are necessary."

"..." Yoshino was silent, waiting for my next words.

"The Yamanaka Clan elders are unwilling to teach their techniques," I finished explaining.

"What is Inoichi's answer?" Yoshino asked calmly.

"Ah~ ... You got into trouble, Inoichi," I thought, hoping that Yoshino wouldn't make a fuss at the Yamanaka Clan: "I tried, but he couldn't get them to agree."

Yoshino was silent for a few seconds and left the house, smiling.

'You asked for it, Inoichi,' I thought, remembering how Inoichi changed since he was recruited by Ibiki Morino into the Konoha Interrogation and Torture Force.

"Dad, I'll go play with Choji," said my son, who appeared after seeing that his mother was missing.

"Sure, but remember to come back early, Shikamaru," I replied.

'Now ... where did I leave that box?' I thought, trying to remember.

<Three hours later>

After searching all over the house, I finally managed to find the damn wooden box: "Finally!"

When I took the wooden box, I could see the seal that prevented anyone from accessing its contents.

Because I have the key to this seal, I was one of the people who can open it: "Kai."

After the brief smoke that appears when unlocking the seal, I could see several objects, among them was a scroll.

Seeing the scroll I needed for Takeru, I grabbed it thinking: 'Jiraiya-sama was right, after all.'

<POV Yoshino>

'That piece of shit dares not help Kushina's son," I thought furiously as I headed to the Yamanaka Clan.

"Lady Yoshino, welcome," said a guard from the Yamanaka Clan as he saw me pass by.

"Good afternoon, is Inoichi at the Clan?" I asked angrily.

The guard doubted my attitude for a moment, but after considering for two seconds: "No, Lady Yoshino, Inoichi-sama is at the Yamanaka Flower Shop."

"Thank you," I replied, as I changed course to the Flower Shop.

After seeing Inoichi inside the Flower Shop, I couldn't contain my anger anymore: "HEY, TRASH."

"Eh?" Inoichi was surprised to hear me yelling at him.

"How dare you not help him?" I asked, furious.

"What's going on here?!" exclaimed Noriko, Inoichi's wife, who was closing the flower shop after seeing the trouble I was doing.

"Yoshino, please go away," Inoichi said calmly.

"Do you want me to leave? Fine, but help Takeru," I said, approaching Inoichi.

"Takeru? Kushina's son? What happened to him?" Noriko asked, concerned about her friend's son.

"He's having a problem by the Kyubi, and your stupid husband doesn't want to help him," I said, telling Noriko what had happened.

After Inoichi saw how Noriko got angry, he decided to end the fight before the Clan elders found out: "Enough!"

"Takeru's problem isn't due to the Kyubi, it's his own problem," Inoichi said angrily.

"..." Noriko and I fell silent at such a revelation.

"... That doesn't mean you can help him," I said, a bit calmer.

"It's true, tell me, can you help him?" Noriko asked concerned.

"Yes, it is possible to help him with the secret techniques of the Yamanaka Clan," Inoichi stated.

"Then why don't you help him?" Noriko asked, confused.

"Because it requires our secret techniques to be taught," Inoichi replied.

"... Shikaku is willing to teach our secret techniques to Takeru," I said, attracting the attention of both of them.

"But will he teach the core technique?" Inoichi asked wryly.

"…" I couldn't say anything, because even if I wanted to say yes, that decision is the responsibility and duty of the Nara Clan leader.

At that moment, we could all hear a disappointed sigh: "Ahh~ ... The Nara Clan is willing to teach him that technique if the situation requires it."

"You're crazy, Shikaku!" Inoichi exclaimed.

Shikaku looked at Inoichi for a few seconds, and said solemnly: "Don't forget that our wives are still alive thanks to the efforts of Minato and Kushina."

"..." Inoichi was silent, while Noriko and I could only watch the situation unfold.

"... I'm grateful to Minato for it, but the Clan's rules are strict," Inoichi said, after calming down.

Shikaku looked at Inoichi, waiting for him to say something else, but after seeing that he didn't say anything, he looked at us.

"... Yoshino, Noriko, when were you helped by Minato?" Shikaku asked solemnly.

"... Why do you ask that, Shikaku?" Noriko asked, confused.

While Noriko asked the reason for what Shikaku ask, I managed to understand what my husband was trying to do.

"We were saved by Minato when he was serving as Hokage," I replied, surprising Inoichi and Noriko.

"Shikaku ... don't play that card," Inoichi asked anxiously.

"..." Noriko could only keep quiet because she understood what it meant to oppose what Shikaku was about to say.

"I didn't play this card, Inoichi ... It was the Fourth Hokage who did," Shikaku replied, smiling.

"What?!" Inoichi exclaimed, surprised.

"Here, idiot ... You just marked your fate," Shikaku said, sighing as he handed a letter to Inoichi.

After Inoichi and Noriko read the letter, I could see how Inoichi's expression was getting worse, while Noriko just sighed.

"Shikaku ... this cannot be validated," Inoichi said helplessly.

"Unfortunately for you, it is completely valid," Shikaku reply.

"Does that mean ..." Inoichi questioned.

"Don't get so depressed, if you don't accept that order, there is another one," Shikaku said, throwing another letter.

After Inoichi and Noriko read the second letter, they just sighed and accepted one of the last orders of the Fourth Hokage.

"This is all your fault, you idiot!" Noriko exclaimed furiously.

"I'm sorry darling," Inoichi apologized, regretting not accepting the Third's request.

"... Yoshino, let's go," Shikaku said, calling out to me while sighing.

"Ok!" I replied, encouraged.

"Wait! ... Did you deliver both letters to the Third, Shikaku?" Inoichi asked hopefully.

"I am Commander Jonin, Inoichi," Shikaku replied, shattering Inoichi's last hopes.

When Shikaku saw one of his best friends like this, he couldn't help but say: "Those letters were handed to me by Minato before go to save Kushina."

"Before receiving the letters, he fired me as Commander Jonin," Shikaku said, surprising Inoichi and Noriko.

"After the Kyubi attack, I was restored to my post, but by then, I had already put the letters away."

"... Since then I have not reopened them, so as not to have the obligation to inform the Third."

"But you asked for it, Inoichi," Shikaku explained, walking out of the shop with me.
