9 The Patient

As he opened his eyes, he felt something painful on his arms. And he saw a foreign man is sitting in front of him in a few distance that has been assisted by the male nurse. They are transfusing his blood to him and he doesn't know why. He asked and they couldn't answer him but only with little words saying that the other foreign man needed it.

He demanded to remove the needle on his arms and they just followed. After they left in the room, he hurriedly went outside to check everything. He knew something's wrong, he couldn't remember why he's there in that hospital in a hospital gown. No one also visited him.

After a few hours, he returned to his room. He laid down and drowse himself to sleep. In the middle of the day he was awakened by a certain noise, there are two men talking with each other, he doesn't know them either, maybe they only took a visit for him. He really cannot figure out why he cannot remember even those people near him now. They are all strangers to him, maybe something's wrong with his memory he thought.

He just pretends sleeping and tried hard to hear everything they're talking about.

He heard a certain bomb explosion happened from the past days. Many died and most of them are all doctors. And the person they are blaming is him. He's so terrified and surprised why he's the one who will take the blame. According to them, only that patient had survived from the blast and they really questioned why only him had survived of all the people.

The man suddenly remembered those doctors, they are his companions who had died. His memory slowly came in on that day of the explosion. He doesn't understand why they're blaming him, he never did anything. He didn't carry the bomb and he's not a terrorist either or part of them. At that day, it's only a miracle he survived. He saw his companions all bloody with no breath. He cried loudly, so helpless, he was injured also, affected by the blast.

He couldn't help but cry silently. He glanced to the window and remembered all, before that day, all the happy memories.
