12 The Leader

She was stunned by the sudden confusion she had witnessed all around her. People scattered everywhere and all got panicked. Then, she heard an elder woman commanded a servant girl to carry her. They need to escape from where they're standing at that moment because in a few minutes their place will be devastated by the oncoming roaring vast volume of water. Flash floods attacked their place.

The servant girl carried her through her arms. The servant was strong enough to run away from that place carrying their lady. Then they came to a long line of people. There's a rope above them, they need to climb up the rope and to slide down to a horizontal line going across to the other side like a zip-line. Seeing she'll be safe from here, the servant brought down the lady from her arms and helped her climbed up to the rope. Afterward, the servant then bade goodbye to her, she needed there to return to help other people.

The lady was the very last in line. There were many people ahead of her in the zip-line, both men and women were there who were all eager to save their lives. A big-built man was in the very front of her, he was tired in hanging through the rope. Each one was waiting for each turn to go across to the other side. But it wasn't easy, many went tired and seemed cannot hold on anymore due to very long hours of hanging onto it. They slowly went terrified they might fall to the deepest water roaring down below them until the line froze already. The man in front of the lady had reached to his maximum limits and he just let go. There she just saw him slowly went down below, with a loud cry, until he wasn't heard any more.

The lady in the very last line thought she needs to survive. On the spur of the moment, she jumped through the line, and successfully leaped across to the other side. Both men and women were shocked by what they've witnessed. They hardly knew that the last lady in the line could do that dangerous move. She's so brave enough to do that when no one dared to do it, afraid they might all fell below. Then, slowly they followed her. They tried their best to go across toward her.

Then the lady came on top of the hill. She watched all of them slowly reaching to where she's standing. She had motivated them to persist climbing despite all the sufferings they went through in a long time. She had earned their respect for her. After seeing that all of them successfully reached the top, she rested.

After a few minutes, she continued to find for a resting place. She found a small hut in a distance. She went into it, and no one was there. She found some cooking utensils and food to be cooked. Without any hesitation, she went to prepare to cook for their meals. Then, the other women came to help her. Together they cooked their meal until it's done and the table was prepared. They sat together and ate with their lady leader.

While they're resting, some of them went down to a certain village. They never knew who lived there and what kind of people they were. They happened to break one of their rules unintentionally. The leader of the group angrily obstructed them, with a loud sound it roared.

That village was filled with unknown creatures that all of them seemed like wild animals in the woods. There were different beasts in front of them.

In terrible fear, all of them ran fast away. They hurriedly went back to the small hut where their lady stayed. But they were chased by those wild beasts.

"Lady please help us!", they cried as they came in. So the lady hurriedly got up and went outside. She observed that there are many beasts slowly approaching them. Her people only heard the different sound of the roaring animals, except her. As the beasts came to a halt in front of their lady, they'd seen that she understood all of them. Their talked went smoothly.

The great lion uttered this, "No one dares to trespass on my own property!"

"I apologize, on behalf of my people. They hardly knew you are living there and they just went on strolling to get acquainted with this new place. They have no intentions to destroy your peace.", uttered by their lady. No one neither could talk nor understand those wild beasts except their lady.

And as they went on, the beasts and the lady got acquainted with each other. Then they all became friends, agreed to each other's rules and helped one another; so they lived in that place peacefully.
