4 The Capital City

Days after the incident, Alex and Milo has been closer than ever. It looked like Martha and Alex has been gifted a child of prodigy and they were extremely happy.

Milo, however, keeped his secret about being a reincarnator and just went with the flow. It's been 8 years and Milo has turned 12 years old and it is time for him to attend the Magic Academy.

With flowing black hair and a fit-body, Milo was an ordinary guy with the mind's of a scientist. A new chapter for the ever curious scientist unfolds!

"Bye mom and dad!" Milo waved goodbye as he slowly walked blindly on the path. Martha and Alex also waved their goodbyes as Martha broke down in tears, knowing that she won't meet her soon for a long time.

Walking down the path, he saw a carriage waiting for him. He walked slowly for the driver and said that he will just walk to the capital and didn't even wait for the driver's respond.

[Won't it take a week for my carriage to reach the capital?] The driver thought, puzzled by the young man's words. The driver looked behind to see the kid once more and he was gone.

Following Milo, he had already mastered the art of the [Sonic Boom] his original magic that he used on the Goblin King incident years ago.

8 years of practice, Milo has learned his new original magic [Fly].

[Science Time!

Like the name says, the term Fly means to move or hurl quickly through the air.

It is a little different than in other novels, his version of fly is to step through air. By hardening the air around him, the air around him turns like glass for only a second until it turns into air once more.]

By combining [Fly] and [Sonic Boom] he moves through the wind like speeding aircraft. With the perfection of the wind barrier and his calculations, he was able to precisely land on the specific location and move without error.

"What I've known is that, I've discovered three more elements" Milo muttered as the wind bended out of him. "Like Pyronite, I've also discovered the atoms that lets you control the other four elements".

Milo named them Hydronite, Teranite and Stormite. Milo discovered that it was the origin of the control of atom, specifically, living things can't control atoms but can control these elements instead. With years of blind corrections, they were able to completely control it and believe it is magic.

"It's basically just science." Milo muttered. This new elements, however, has a chain reaction. The moment humans control a certain element, their corresponding partner responds to the call.

Basically, the elements like Pyronite control every other elements in the world. Milo calls these elements, [Magicule] or the control of the atoms.

Milo lets out a big sigh, "This world, if people were not blind, could have been more advanced than us" he muttered out of disappointment, then again, "I can finally make a homunculus." Milo smiled faintly.

If Milo was to know a deep understanding on the magicule and its properties, making life is possible. If fire is controlled by just the mind, then he can create a mind that knows how to control fire.

"Oh, that's the capital?" Milo stopped mid-air and landed softly in front of the capital gate. There was a big line but he remembered what his father told him.

*Rewind*

Milo and Alex is sitting on the dining table, "Son, show this card to the guards. They should be able to let you in without lining up." Alex stated and hands out the card.

"Sure..." Milo received the card.

Milo who was already skipping the line was shouted by the people who was waiting for their turn, [Shut it will you...] Milo was aggitated by the shouts.

"Please fall in line kid." The guard stated then Milo gave the card that his father gave him, "My father said to give it to you." Milo said while he showed him his card.

The guard's eyes widened, "You're Alex' father?" he shouted as he stood up in shock.

"The Goblin slayer's son?" People were stupified and was shouting.

"Seriously!?"

8 years ago, during the raid of the goblin king. Alex was given all the credits of the incident and our family's rank rose from Baronette to Baron, which was one rank higher but it already has big influences.

Father was nicknamed the [Goblin Slayer] after that incident and I begged father to keep it a secret and he happily obliged. Father's name was heard throughout the kingdom and he trained hard to keep up his name.

"Father should be stronger than the 4 year old me now." Milo muttered.

"Y-you are eligible for entry." The guard has his tongue-tied. There was also rumored that Milo was helping his father, [It was true..] So Milo also had quite the reputation as the brave kid.

After entering the capital, his eyes were already greeted with a lot of people and building. Unlike his town which only has, atleast 20 houses, Milo never had the time to play with the "kids".

Milo took something on his pocket, it was a direction for the exam which would start a week from now but because Milo took a shortcut, he has a week of free time, "I need to find an inn first..."

The school was supposed to provide dorms but again, he was a little bit too early. Looking everywhere, he finally found an inn called the "Crescent Moon" which has a moon on a their logo.

Looking at the inn, it was a 2-story building and it's made of wood. It was one of those commoner's place which Milo never tried before, he was excited. Entering the inn, people with muscles and aggresive aura was staring at him, "What's a kid doing here?" someone shouted.

Milo ignored it and went straight to the counter with a beautiful lady, "Can I have a room, for a week?" Milo asked.

The lady was a bit puzzled, "U-uh, sure..." She was absolutely stupified for a kid to be on an inn like this. "That will be 7 silver coins." but the lady was calm since he was also a customer.

"Here you go!" Milo childy said as he gave out 7 silver coins. He was given the key to the inn and went on to the second floor... well, he was about to.

He was blocked of by two guys, one is fat and one is thin. This was one of those enemy starter pack on novels which would show your power to everyone on the inn, "Hey kid, you seem rich, how about you give us all your money?"

"Yeah yeah, just from your clothes, it looks like you're a noble." The fat pig backed up his partner's reply.

"Come on guys, he's just a kid-" The lady tried to help Milo but she was shouted back to, "Shut up, you whore!" shouted the thin one, "Now give us your money!"

"Or what?' Milo said with a straight-face, totally calm in the whole situation.
