Goblin King Appears

Heavily injured and hiding over the wall, Alex holds his stomach as to lessen the bleeding, "What was that loud explosion earlier?" Alex muttered as he was startled by the sound inside the kingdom.

"This is too strange.." Alex started thinking how the goblin was able to successfully ambush the eastern wall.

The control of atoms are not only restricted to humans only, those with basic knowledge always know how to control atoms but...

Goblins mages are the only one goblins who can use magic correctly but they are too dumb to launch an ambush so correctly. The worst possible situation is for a Goblin King to appear, though it has the knowledge of a child, it is brutally strong.

"Something is too strange here..." Alex was thinking on what to do next. Suddenly, a shadow covered his sight and a goblin was found on top of him who was ready to stab.

Luckily, Alex was able to evade the strike but he was too weak to move any further. The goblin jumped from the wall and raised his knife to strike, "Damn!" Alex closed his eyes out of panic.

*Swoosh*

A shadow figure appeared behind Alex, it took out sharpened wood and threw it onto the jumping goblin. The goblin fell as the three sharpened wood hits his head, mouth and heart.

The figure landed in front of Alex while looking away, "Are you okay, dad?" It was Milo who jumped to the rescue.

"H-how did you get here so fast?" Alex was startled by the sudden appearance of his son. He was both scared and relieved as he looked at the dead goblin.

Alex has his eyes wide when he looked at the accurate shot of his son and was left speechless. For his son to arrive immediately before the reinforcements could arrive.

"Don't worry dad, I got this."Milo jumped into the stone fences of the wall and looked at the strongest goblin he could feel. He closed his eyes as he felt an ominous aura, "Thats..."

Milo raised his son as water came out of thin-air, "It's too hot today..." Alex was only able to get little on the sorrounding air and was able to make five ice needles with the size of a one-inch ruler.

Milo faintly waved his hand forward as the ice magic was propelled in high speed using wind magic and hits the bushes of the forest, "Graaaahhhh!"

Huge footsteps was heard after the growl and the forest was moving little by little, red eyes were then seen at the shadows of the forest. It came out of the forest with blood flowing out from all over his body.

"Graaahhhh!!!" The Goblin King appears. It looked like a 8-feet tall humanoid with green skin holding a giant sword with a golden hilt. It also wore a crown that was white in color, "Those must be stolen." Milo muttered.

The Goblin King is the strongest goblin, capable of using magic and physical attacks. It has a different biology then the other goblin so Milo can't use "That" on him.

The Goblin King shouted as he pointed his sword, telling the goblins to attack. Milo looked below to see something shocking, "The... goblins are using, ladders?" The ladders were probably wood from the forest but how?

Goblins are dumb creatures, they should not be able to craft a sturdy ladder so perfectly. "This is bad." Milo clutched his hands as he had to use "that" today.

Milo closed his eyes and imagined all the hundreds of the goblins as he looked at their hearts.

Goblins started to jump into Milo and Alex shouted, "Watch out!" Goblins striked...

*bang*

Goblins who striked into him started to throw themselves away like an invisible barrier was protecting Milo. Alex felt the magic sorrounding Milo to see a strong gust of wind sorrounding him.

"T-this kid..." Alex was speechless. For a child to do something so smart, he doubted that his son is not that simple, "what is he?" he questioned the unthinkable. As his father, it was like he was much more older than Alex himself.

Milo finally opened his eyes as he swayed his hand on the side, "Heart... attack." The goblins who were on the sorrounding area collapsed one after another and the only thing heard after that was bodies slamming into the ground.

Alex stood up to see what happened, "Why did it go quiet?" Alex stood as he held his stomach and looked below the wall, "They are..."

The sorrounding goblins died including the mages, hundreds died in the bling of an eye. Alex looked at Milo as he began to fall.

"That... was... too much.." Milo fainted as Alex caught him.

Alex panicked as to what happened to his son but then Milo started snoring. Alex was relieved, "His just tired." Alex patted Milo's head, "Good job, son." he muttered.

Alex looked at the outskirts again as he saw the hundreds of goblin that died which leaves one more enemy, the goblin king.

"I can't use magic anymore!" Alex muttered as he thought of something to do but the goblin king was too strong for alex.

Luckily...

Reinforcements appeared as hundreds of soldiers were heard inside the wall. Alex hurriedly looked inside to see one of the captain was with them, "Finally." Alex knelt out of fatigue.

*Swoosh*

The captain appeared in front of the tired Alex and the fainted Milo, he glanced at them for a second but then took a look at the outskirts, "This..." The captain became stupified as the hundreds of goblin corpse was seen everywhere.

He was more shocked when he saw the standing goblin king, he looked at Alex again and held both of his shoulders, "What happened here!" he shouted.

[I need to protect my son.] Alex thought and lied, "I don't know, they suddenly collapsed." Alex said in a tired face as he held his son tightly.

The captain looked at the outskirts once again, "Who could've done such a powerful spell" The captain muttered.

He shouted as his solders as the eastern wall's door opened, "Attack the goblin king!" The captain rose his sword to battle.

Everything after that, Alex and Milo fainted out of fatigue. The goblin king died as hundreds of soldiers including mages were fightning the lone goblin king.

The captain... well. He is suspicious of the father and son.
