1 [1] Quite an Introduction

The lights shone bright. There were countless rows of seats in the lecture room exceeding the amount found in a stadium. However, what differed between a stadium and this conference was the type of people who attended. Men who wore immaculate tailored suits and women in terrific dresses to suit the occasion flooded the area.

The conference would be broadcasted and most if not all entities would be watching. It was an event which demanded attention and that was putting it in the lightest way. Among the seats, sat the most influential, educated and close to perfect people on the planet. They had countenances of delight and friendliness. They gave to and received from their seated neighbors greetings and compliments.

The chatter soon came to a deathly silence at the sound of the clicking of boots. Rigid soldiers entered onto the stage. They came in endless streak, carrying laser rifles held in a vertical manner. Each and every soldier wore a matte black helmet with a heavily tinted visor. They were heavily armored and their movements were fluid. They were almost like robots, indifferent, impersonal and definitely strong.

Soon, soldiers wearing black capes and golden trimmed armor followed and entered a circle formation. The circles was perfect when they came to a quick halt. They pivoted sharply to face the observers.

Someone- not just someone, but an important figured entered onto the stage. All eyes engulfed his presence. It was the very first time they had seen their Imperator. He wore a snow white suit with no bow/tie. He had a shoulder cape which was sparkling multiple colors almost like a rainbow. The shoulder cape was extremely thin layers of diamond. Diamond's properties made it difficult to produce this shoulder cape, however the current technology had surpassed past expectations formed centuries ago.

He strode across the marble floor and stood at attention right in the middle of the circle formation. He wore a helmet similar to his soldiers. His soldiers helmets more specifically were like a modular helmet. The helmet of the imperator was a crystal. His voice soon filled the ears of all.

' 'Stand. ' '

Everyone stood and straightened upon this command. Soldiers swarmed from all sides and filed through the rows. All, but one soldier stood at ease facing the direction of the observers. The one soldier raised their hand into the air. Upon closer observation of an observer, it was seen they were still sitting. This marked the very defiance the empire was cautious of. This ill-tempered subject resembled satan in the eyes of the empire. All those close to this satan either in relation or physically, were to be publicly executed. The people standing in the row of the person were suddenly apprehended and brought upon stage right in a line. They were placed right in front of all the ranks of soldiers.

They were kicked onto their knees, their eyes wide open in apprehension. One person muttered something, but they were quickly met with force and were silenced. The first rank of soldiers behind the line of "devils," skillfully and mechanically loaded their weapons simultaneously. The imperator stepped forward and out of the circle he was surrounded in and walked off to the right of the stage. His head moved in the direction of the rebellious "satan" and he gestured to the middle of the circle.

The "satan" stood in the middle of the circle, completely nervous and shocked at the scene unfolding right before his eyes... a scene HE had caused. What had happened next was to be blamed on him and entirely on him alone. The 1st rank of soldiers aimed their weapons at the people kneeled before them.

In one swift motion, and just in one moment ... they were gone.

Every.

single.

One of them.

Only one word ringed and echoed in the ears of the beholders of this scene.

The imperator firmly articulated, ' ' Obey. ' '

He left the stage his shoulder cape trailed behind him, with the observers hesitating one moment before chanting "Long Live the Empire!" Their smiles and friendly countenances returned once again.

But it is always important to remember not everything on the surface may be what it seems. Take caution. The very first general public sight of the imperator was quite an introduction.
