20 Chapter 16

<T, t, t, t, t, they kissed!? And what's up with that blushing face of hers!? Wait! Could it be they're dating!?!?!? Aaaaaaaaahhh!!! I don't know what's going on!!!>

As Himari brainstormed by herself, Yuriko came walking while holding her cheeks as she blushed, and they both noticed each other and meet each other gazes

"Ah!..."

"..."

"W, why are you here, Himari-san?"

"I TOTALLY WASN'T FOLLOWING YOU BECAUSE I SAW YOU GOING SOMEWHERE AND ACCIDENTALLY SAW YOU KISSING SOMEONE!!!... Ah!..."

In her panic, Himari let her loose mouth tell everything to Yuriko and hearing all that made her face turn even redder since the embarrassment of being seen as she was kissed came in one go and with force

They both remained silent as they both didn't know what to do in that weird situation they found themselves in

"... So you have already confessed to him, but you can't deal with situations like... The one just now..."

Yuriko started blushing and holding her cheeks at her thoughts of going out with him, and Himari could only look at her and think...

That Yuriko was somehow a pain the butt when it came to love, like most manga and light novel characters were

And with that Himari got up and left

Because she was very gullible when it came to dealing with other people

And she remembered that she had a more important matter to do

Yuriko made another score for her team

Her teammates just accepted everything she said, meanwhile the opposing team

"Why are none of you, moving to get the ball!?!?!?"

"This is not the time to get charmed by your opponent!!! We need to make points!!! Not gaze at the student council president of another school!!!"

"Easy there, Himari-chan. No need to get all pumped up"

"... Look over there to see Nanami-san washing her face"

And all the other girls of Himari's team started blushing, as they got charmed as they saw Yuriko pushing her drenched hair away from her handsome and charming face

"See?..."

They didn't hear Himari

"I'm talking to you idiots!!!" *Slaps the rear of one of her teammates*

"Hyahn!..."

And the girl that got slapped leaked a pleasured moan, that was enough to grab the attention of the rest of the team

"..."

"... Haa... The half-time is almost over, so let's just get ready. And you all, better play seriously starting now!"

"Yes!"

They didn't, and instead, they only gazed more intensely at Yuriko playing to Himari's misfortune. And after a one-sided match, the game came to an end with Yuriko's team winning easily

"Haa... Haa... Haa..."

Himari was laying on the ground with her body full of bruises because of her desperate defenses, then she saw a hand extended towards her

"You did well holding till now by yourself"

It was Yuriko who was extending her hand to Himari

"... I don't want to hear that from the one that caused my team to not play at all"

"Haha..."

Yuriko could only laugh with a troubled face at what Himari said since it was the truth. Himari then got up by herself and began walking away, but before she left, Himari turned to face Yuriko

"You better watch out if you don't want to lose him to me" <Yeah!... I nailed it>

"Hmmm? Do you know what day tomorrow is, right?"

"Of course, I do. So you better prepare yourself if you don't want to lose him"

"..."

Yuriko had an even more troubled face as she heard what Himari heard

<Himari-chan... You're the type of person who doesn't think too much into things, aren't you?>

Yuriko thought that to herself, and she was completely right about that

"That's all I have to say"

Himari then turned her back to Yuriko in a cool manner, and then Yuriko tried to call her

"Ah! Hima-"

"Nuah!?"

But she was too late and Himari ended up stumbling on someone else

Yuriko still had a troubled expression on her face as she kept looking at Himari

"... See you, student council president Nanami-san..."

Himari quickly left the place without looking back

<... I will definitely get ahead of you, Nanami-san!!!>

She was dying of embarrassment after doing something really embarrassing after she gave her best to look cool

Himari had forgotten one very important detail for her non-existent plan

The very next day

At Takeru's home

*Birds chirping*

"..."

Takeru was drowsily sitting on his bed, he then turned on his phone and looked at the hours, it was 5 in the morning as usual, and it was the first day of summer vacations...

"... *Sigh*" *Goes back to sleep*

And the first thing he did on his first day of summer vacation was sleep more after staying up until late

At Yuriko's home

*Birds chirping*

"Fuaaahhh... ... ... 6:30 in the morning, huh?"

Yuriko had woken up later than usual since she didn't put an alarm to wake her up earlier

"*Stretching her arms and back* Hmmmmm! Phew... I better start cleaning, make sure that there isn't anything perishable in the fridge, and pack some clothes on the luggage before leaving today"

At Himari's house

"Fuuunyaaahh... *Looks outside the window*... What time is it?... 7 in the morning, huh?... ... ... 7 in the morning!?!?!?"

Himari started panicking as she quickly got up from her bed and opened her wardrobe before she realized

"Wait... ... ... Oh yeah... School ended yesterday with the sports festival"

She calmed down and made a face of relief after she remembered that she was on summer vacations now, then she began remembering what she had said to Yuriko at the end of yesterday's event, making her face lose the sense of relief

"I FORGOT THAT TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF SUMMER VACATIONS!!!"

And she shouted that as she fell on her fours, as she sobbed with a mix of embarrassment and sense of defeat, but mostly embarrassment

Bonus

Right after Takeru kissed Yuriko at the sports festival

"..."

When Takeru turned on the corner and was out of sight, he covered his red blushing face, as he supported himself on the wall

"..." <WHAT WAS I THINKING!?!?!? I DIDN'T NEEDED TO KISS HER BECAUSE OF THAT PHOTO!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH GOD!!! THIS IS SO EMBARRASSING NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT!!!

He was agonizing from the huge feeling of embarrassment he was feeling after he did the great and horrible, good and bad idea of kissing Yuriko so that she could keep that photo of him
