Chapter 2
A week passed away slowly I haven't seen Asagi kun on the school,or maybe I only searched for him on my classroom just to be sure that he is on my class or what.But he wasn't.I think I should have searched for him on the other classrooms.But I didn't like to go deep in finding him.
It was 9th February that our first school assembly was held.I was standing there with Hiyori san and Asuka san.In the stage the advisor and the Vice-Principal was sitting.And then the Student Council President came to the stage.The Student Council President has a curley straight haircut and he was wearing a glasses.He would speak on the mike about our welcoming of the first years.
"I think all of you guessed by now that I am the Student Council President.My name is Sakagami Daichi.And I welcome you all to a fresh new year of Akazaki High School.As you all know or if you didn't know,our school has been the best school in Osaka for the last 10 years.We were best in academics,sports and other co-curricular activities.Our school ranks an outstanding rank in the whole Japan,as the top 10 best schools.So we can say that our school has been enriched with brilliant students for a long time.Though I should not exceed this topic any longer.As you all know that this is the last year for the third years on this school.So I as the Student Council President have to elect the next Student Council President.In most of the cases it is seen that the second years are the most suitable for candidates.I am not telling this to everyone.I am telling to those students who are brilliant in the academics or have good grades on the class.But still it doesn't mean that the second years will get every chance of becoming one but I also think that among you first years there are some bloomingly brilliant students who can become the next Student Council President.Only I can elect the Student Council President because that's the power that I got from the school authority.So I announce this message to everyone who is present in the assembly that the Student Council Presidential Election will be held after the mid-term exams of both the first years and the second years.I wish you luck and study hard for the exams."
When the Student Council President would leave the stage, all of the students started talking about his speech.
"What! The election will be held after the mid-term? That's so soon."
"This is impossible. Only four months remains. How can we cover all the studies? Even if we do,it won't be that high expected."
Well we get back to our class after that assembly. I went to the washroom just to take a break. I saw Asuka in there combing her hair.
"Asuka san, why are you combing your hair for? Is anything the matter?"
"Oh! Sukomi san. I am fixing the hair because when I open up my hair it distracts me in my work.So I am combing. Sukomi san doesn't your hair create any problem?"
"Not that much. I just like it the way it is."
"Oh! What a drag I always have to waste my time on fixing my hair. I wish I could cut my hair down a bit."
"Don't. I think it's fine the way it is."
"Are you sure?"
"Hmph. You look cuter in this was Asuka san."
"You are making me blushed Sukomi san. But still thank you for saying that."
"Welcome."
"Sukomi san weren't you gonna go to the toilet?"
"Yes. I kinda forgot about it when I was talking to you."
"Ok. Sukomi san, I will see you on the class. I don't wanna waste your time anymore."
Then after I get out of the toilet I would go straight to my class. The second period would be gymnastic. The girls and the boys would go to their respective changing rooms. When I was changing my dress, I heard some girls were saying something. When I would pay attention, I heard they were talking about the boys in our class.
"You know Megumi san, Nagai kun in our class looks the most charming."
"Really!? I thought you like Sakagami senpai?"
"Sakagami senpai is probably the best student in our school. So I think there are many girls who wants to get close to him.And it would be a waste of time if I chase after him. But having a guy like Nagai kun would be fun because he is not that popular and he is quite good in his studies too. I think he will be the type of guy that I wanna hang out with."
"I really get the point. And all the third years are leaving after this year. And Sakagami senpai would chose himself who will be the next Student Council President."
"Who do you think that he is gonna make the Student Council President?"
"Well...there are a lot to think of. I think Koyomi senpai might become the Student Council President and she is currently the Vice-President. She is the most talented student in our school. That's why Sakagami senpai might choose her. But nevertheless there are others who are looking for that spot."
"Hmph. But what happens if the school legend decided to show up and nominate himself as a candidate?"
"Don't talk non-sense Megumi san. And how do you know that the school legend would be a boy?"
"No,I just thought of it. And besides I never seen the legend."
"I think the school legend is nothing but a false rumour which was spread by the upperclassmen."
"Yeah. Megumi san we should hurry up and change our clothes fast otherwise we will be late."
"Hmph."
After hearing the conversation I would hurrily leave the changing room.The thing that surprised me that there are a lot of other students who knows about this rumour of the school legend.At first I thought only Sakumi san knows about this.But I was wrong.When I reached to the gymnastic field I saw that Hiyori san was waiting for me.
"Oh,sorry Hiyori san I was getting late to change my clothes."
"Don't worry.Should we start the exercise?"
"Sure.Why not?"
The exercise that our P.E teacher instructed us to do was the stretching exercise.So we had to work in a team of two.When we were exercising I asked a question to Hiyori san.
"Hey,Hiyori san do you know about the school legend?"
"The school legend? Who told you about this?"
"No,no I just heard it from somewhere but do you know it?"
"Yes.I do we would naturally hear this rumour by the upperclassmen of the second years.But it was a month ago that I heard."
"Is the school legend that popular?"
"I think yes.Because most of the students in the school know about this.Hahaha.....I think the school legend is more popular than Sakagami senpai."
"Sakagami senpai?"
"Sakagami senpai is so brilliant in studies that he always gets a 100 out of 100 in every subject.I think he is the school legend."
"I never heard before that anyone would get 100 in every subject.It is quite amazing but I don't think that he is the school legend.Hiyori san do you actually mean that Sakagami senpai is the school legend?"
"Hey.Calm down,it's nothing to be tensed about it.It was just a joke."
"I think I took it a little bit of serious."
I was almost confused for a moment.But what if Sakagami senpai actually turns out to be the school legend?I was obviously way thinking too much.Our gymnastic class would end after a while.We would again head back to change our clothes to the changing room.After changing the clothes I would start walking toward my classroom.When I was walking in the steps I saw Asagi kun was coming down from the stairs.
"Asagi kun?"
"Oh! Sukomi san.It's been a while since we last meet.I was actually searching for you for quite some days."
Asagi kun would put his right hand beside his head.I kinda noticed that he was feeling nervous when he was talking to me.
"Ah...Sukomi san can I talk with you after the school?"
"Ok.I have no problem in that."
Asagi kun would bow and say,"Thank you very much.I look forward to it!"
"Welcome."
"Then I shall be waiting for you after the school.I will be standing at the front gate."
"Ok.I shall see you there."
"Then I shall go now.See you after the school Sukomi san."
"Ok.Bye."
After our conversation end I would enter my class and sit on my seat.I finished every period of our class.And I had to see Asagi kun at 4:00.But before that I have to go to the library to find a book for my English homework.Well the library was on the fifth floor.When I would go to the fifth floor I found out thath library was already closed.So I was feeling a bit of let down but then I realized that there is another old library in the second campus.The second campus is not far from here.It would take only 5 minutes to reach there.But the second campus was not being used.So it's kinda abandoned.The only thing that are in the second campus it's the old library and the empty classrooms.And the empty classrooms looks so scary like it was being used since a long time ago.I couldn't find the library after searching the first two floors.Then I thought the library might be in the fourth floor.When I was walking in the stairs it felt so creepy,like some of the tiles in the stairs are broken and some steps in there would make a creepy strange sound.The environment inside the second campus was unbelievable to explain.I feel like I have entered a place that I should not have come.When I reached to the fourth floor,I first headed towards the right side.I saw that there was no library in there.In the end I saw an old storage room.The storage room smells so bad that I can't tolerate it.But out of curiosity I entered into the storage room.I wanted to find out from where the smell was coming from.When I was searching beside the brooms and benches,I noticed something is in there.But I still couldn't see it properly that what it was.So for seeing it I had to extend my arm to find out what it is.And when I actually touched that thing,I pulled it out to see what's that thing that is emitting those bad smells.And I couldn't believe my eyes what I actually saw.It was a cut out hand soaaked in blood.I would scream and throw the hand and wasting a second I would run with every bit of energy in my body.But!.....NOTHING IS CHANGING.I am runnig in the same place again and again.There is no end to it.I closed my eyes and took a deep breathe and I started running again.But all I am seeing are the empty classrooms and there is no stairs that I can get down from.Having no choice I now started to run in the left side and after a while I saw that there is an old library at the end.I quickly open the door of the library and I said,"Is there anyone here?Please help me.I am in a danger....Please!"
I didn't see anyone in the library.I was all alone inside an empty campus.Seein no one inside the library made me feel even more nervous.I locked the door of the library with the desk that was beside.I was sitting on the ground and crying for help.And then I saw there is a back door at the end.I was feeling so scared like my legs were frozen.It was hard to walk around.When I went to the front of the door,then I opened the door to see what's inside.And I couldn't blink my eyes...I saw a boy sitting in a chair.His hair was black and.....when he turned around at me I saw his deep blue eyes and then I can't remember anything...
