1 The School Days

Chapter 1

Lizzie, Primary school

School is great isn't it? Sorry let me introduce myself. I'm Lizzie I go to Maverick Primary School, at least I did. Anyway, back on track, I have plenty of friends here are some of them. Jorja, the most popular girl in school she's probably my best friend, Ruby, Ruby's the probably cleanest girl I know, maybe even a little too clean, Layla, she's really kind but really quiet, Mika, she's kind I mean, she's cool and smart too, and finally me, I'm always the first to know everything, most of the time.

Our story begins on a Monday morning in Year 6, just to keep you up Jackson and Mika are dating and Jorja and Mathew are dating. "I can't believe I'm in Miss Mitchell's class!" Jorja squeals, "just saying she sucks,". I said. "What? How do you know!" she snapped "I was with her last year, duh,". The bell rang, "see you at lunch, c'mon Layla". Me and Layla were in a class by ourselves, and to be honest I was kind of glad cause usually I'm by myself in group activities and I can get to know Layla better.

After the dullest class with the principle, Mr. Madsen, me and Layla agreed to go meet with the others. As we got there I asked where Mika was. "Oh, she's making out with Jackson," answered Ruby, "Like always" I say.

Me and Layla went to go check it out, "Jeez, they're really into it aren't they,". I stated, Layla giggled. We were laughing and making jokes until Mr. Madsen turned the corner and spotted Mika and Jackson making out. He stopped and stared at for about seven seconds, it seemed like they didn't even realise. He eventually separated them, and took them into the front office. "Well shit, they're in trouble" Layla mentioned. "Yeah" I added. That was the first time I heard Layla talk this year and the first time I heard her swear. I thought nothing of it though, as almost everyone swore. We were walking back until we bumped into Michael, my ex and he is super desperate to get back with me. "What do you want?" I sighed. "I… I… Well Jessica…". I stopped him before he could say another word. Jessica the most annoying girl in the school, she was a yarn carter. An extreme one, to the point where she would make stuff up. "What's she done this time?" I asked invigorated. "She uh… uh" "HURRY UP AND BLOODY SAY IT!" I yelled. He managed to get some words out. "She's beating up the Mason kids," Ah the Mason kids probably the most vulnerable and weak kids in school.

I stormed over with Layla to see not only was its Jessica beating them up it was also Jax, her boyfriend she didn't even love him she only got with him to seem tougher, Jax was rated 2nd on my hottie list and is as jacked as hell, everyone was scared of him except me. "What are you to wimps up to?" I asked them. "Oh, just the usual" said Jax "Beating up kids, you better leave now or you'll be next,". At this point Layla nudging me to run away. But there was no way I was running away from this. I punched Jessica in the nose and her head hit the pole. Her nose was bleeding and she had fainted. "Oopsie." I whispered to Layla. Jax looked at me and said "Oi, that's my girlfriend!" I clenched my face getting ready for a punch. I heard a slap; I quickly covered my face. "Ow?" I didn't feel anything, checked my hands there was no blood. "You right?" I heard a voice. It was Eli the number 1 hottie. I fainted.

I woke up in the nurse's office. "Jesus Finally, you're awake" said the nurse astonished. "Now off to class!" she demanded pushing me out of the office. When I got back Layla told me what had happened afterward. "I think you fainted cause of the slap" Layla said. "Probably" I agreed trying to cover up. I knew I had fainted cause of Eli. I didn't want anyone to know, it's weird.

That lunch Eli came up to me and Jorja. He was scratching his neck; he was trying to get words out but he couldn't. "C'mon spit it out" Jorja said with a mouth full of ham and cheese sandwich. I rolled my eyes. "Ok, so I hardly know you. But will you go out with me?" He asked. "Oh, I'm already taken." Jorja said not thinking. Eli chuckled, awkwardly, "Not you, Lizzie!". Me and Jorja looked at each other, jaws dropped. "Yeah, I guess" I said. He did a fist pump in the air, and walked off smiling and scratching his neck. "Was not expecting that!" Said Jorja.

Chapter 2

Lizzie, A Lot of Stuff

My class is literally the most boring class ever, but there is a prize box that we get to pick something out if we're good. So, most of the time I sneak into the classroom and get something out of there. When I went to get something out of the cupboard, I saw Layla and Jackson making out. Now there was a rumour that Jackson was cheating on Mika but I never thought it was true. She begged me not to tell anyone. She was panicking. So, I told her "Your secret is safe with me." But on the inside, I felt like telling Mika I felt bad and if anything, Jackson should just break up with her. But I couldn't do anything it wasn't my business, but I guess it kind of was now.

For the next two weeks it was awkward talking to Layla, Jackson and even Mika. Usually I am keeping secrets. But this was torture, the urge to tell Mika was getting worse by the second. I had to do something. Then and idea popped into my head why don't tell her to break up with him without telling her Jackson made out with Layla. So, at lunch I went over to Mika. "Hey Mika heard a few rumours that you want to break up with Jackson." I said, I regrated my plan as soon as I said it. "Yeah, wait I haven't told anyone that how do you know?" "I don't know, stuff gets around." After a while of talking Mika said she would break up with him tomorrow I couldn't believe it worked!

That day I got a lot off my chest, but not enough I hadn't yet told anyone that Jackson had cheated on Mika. I felt guilty for something I hadn't done 'why do I have to be so empathetic' I thought before going to sleep that night. 'Is Layla still a virgin' I shacked my head trying to get the thought out of my head. But my dirty brain would not stop. I decided I should probably just go to sleep.

Chapter 3

Layla, Jackson

I read what Lizzie said, and that is true. But there is not enough information. Since Year 1 I had a crush on Jackson we would smile at each other but nothing more. But that day that Lizzie spotted us was the best and worst day for me, let me go from the start. So, I woke up at 7:30am (my bus comes at 8:00) so I had to rush, skip breakfast and run to catch the bus. Just before lunch we were finishing our test and when the bell went it was only me and Jackson left.
