His Life is Hers

The crown prince who was rushing out was sweating profusely. His hands were shaky and his mind in chaos. He didn't see the fourth prince approaching and bump on him.

"My dear brother the crown prince. How have you been? You don't look too well." Ye Lin asked. Giving him a concerned look.

"sorry younger brother. I was pre occupied and wasn't paying attention to my surroundings." Ye Ruo apologize. Then left in a hurry.

Ye Lin watched the crown prince departing figure. A smile occurred on his lips then continued to walk inside to greet their imperial parents.

Ye Ruo decided to leave the palace as he couldn't handle the pressure. If he were to say that the empress is not the real empress and was over taken by something else. No one would dare to believe him. They might also think that he's going insane. And he knows deep within his feelings. If he stay anymore longer. He would lose his life. The very same day. He decided to sneak out bringing only some cash and some valuable items with him. He can't afford to get caught or be notice. He disguised himself as someone in middle class. But who would have thought that. The fourth prince Ye Lin had already sent someone to spy on him.

Upon learning that he left the palace. He ordered his men to beat him till he's crippled and unrecognizable. The emperors seat should be his. And before that. He had to eliminate the crown prince and take his seat. It's easy for him to make someone vanish. Just like that woman that he left barely even alive not far from their property. Thinking about it. He's eyes became dark.

' oh Chen Yuki, have you been feeding the soil very well? Thank you for being the fertilizer' Ye Lin thought to himself and he laugh coldly, which made the servants near him trembled in fear.

" I never thought you would be related to that bastard Ye Lin." Yuki said while casting a dangerous look.

" we are only brothers by the common peoples eyes." Ye Ruo said softly almost a whisper.

" say, if you will be given a chance to kill Ye Lin would you do it?" Yuki asked tauntingly. Looking at the crown prince intently.

"why would I do that? I may not be close to fourth brother but to kill him, isn't something that ever cross my mind" Ye Ruo explained with a tinged of panic from his voice. How can he kill his younger brother the fourth prince? Though they never fight. They don't even compete with other things. So why?

"Ye Ruo, do you believe that if I didn't appear before you, you could have been dead by now? And the funeral is being held?" Yuki's chilling voice said. She look at the crown prince who's mind is in total chaos. Not knowing why. He still couldn't understand why Yuki said those things.

" I'm aware of that. And I'm greatful. Perhaps it was the fake empress who tried to kill me." Ye Ruo lifted his head and said in a manner of convince voice.

"ha, ha, ha, Ye Ruo, I never would have thought you are this naive. Let me tell you a little story." Yuki began with a firm voice.

"once there was a woman who was considered to be genius. All the sectors of higher authority within the Imperial City was eager to take her in to work with them. May it be about economics, industrial, financial services, all that is beneficial both for the greedy noble man of higher standards and even the Imperial Palace of royal families wanted her. She as an obedient and helpful commoner decided to extend help after she found out that her mother needs treatment. She needed money to let her be cured in the famous Kormen Hospital. But those bastards, upon gaining the wealth they have, turned their backs on her. Stops the monthly allowance for her mother's medication. And even collaborated with her ex-boyfriend to actually silence her. Since her ex-boyfriend obtained the fame it needed he also wish for her to die. So one day his evil deed happened in an abandoned private lot near the palace. And now he's living a carefree life with his Flaming Torch company and being the fourth prince." Yuki explained, looking at Ye Ruo, she put her hand under her chin and spoke.

" he was successful, your brother had successfully murdered me. And now his eyes is set on you." she smiled evilly.

" mu-murdered you? But you are very alive.!" Ye Ruo said while having a dis belief on his face. She said she was murdered and died at the very hands of my brother. But isn't she very alive now?

" some things are not meant to be told. Since human comprehension is too narrow and slow." she wavingly said to stop him say anything else.

"your brother wants your life and covet your place as the crown prince. His aim is to be the emperor. And that empress is collaborating with him." she said truthfully but keeps a Devilish face.

"that's not true. My brother, he can't, how can he do this." Ye Ruo's mind was in a turmoil. What Yuki said made him realize that the usual calm demeanor of his younger brother is only a mask to hide his real vicious plans. And to think he left his Imperial Father and his other brothers. Ye Lin must not succeed. Ye Ruo's face became dark, to white, to purple from being angry.

" tell me, what's your plan. You save me, my life is yours, use it as you see fit, just please help me save my father and other innocent brothers." Ye Ruo said with a determined voice and a pleading look.

"alright!" Yuki said. She lowered her head to hide the excitement and murderous glint that briefly appeared on her eyes.
