AWAKE

"m-oomm-yy." tears streaming down her face when she remembered her mother. It was a bad dream. In it she lost her mother and resent her for not showing up on her dying days. As Yuki slowly opened her eyes, she saw an unfamiliar place, realizing it she jolt up straight looking around. A memory pierced through her head remembering what had happen and what Zen did to her. She unconsciously touch her body, every part of it, even looking at her clothes.

"What the hell?" she's perfectly fine. Not even a scratch from her delicate skin. Even her clothes looks "medieval?!" she still couldn't grasp what's happening.

She hurriedly got off from bed and reach the heavy door in an instant. "whooaa!? Did I just soul fly?" seeing that she reached the door in a blink of an eye made her even scared of herself.

As she opened the door, she walked out slowly and looked around. The corridors are huge, from the walls to the carpeted floor everything is royal red. And every corner had a demonic statue. Looking at those statue gives her the creeps. The hall way is lit with undying flames. She turned into a corner and saw someone walking. A girl! She ran to her and grab her sleeves.

"uhmm.. Excuse me, can I have a moment please." she was standing beside her. When the girl turned its head on her side, she took a step back, holding her chest as if her heart would jump out. The girls eyes are all white, though it dressed elegantly the face looks scary AF.

" Yes? " she look at her, as if seeing her with those white eyes. As she smiled a riggid teeth showed. Yuki on the the verge of running away dared to speak. " where am I? What are you?" she bravely asked although her legs became shaky. 'Omg.. I feel that I'll pee on myself.'

"follow me, I'll bring you to his Highness." she casually told her before starting to walk again. She followed behind her not even saying a word. When they reach a much larger and more spacious hall the girl opened a door. She was looking around the place all the pillars have a demon statues on it which gave her an even more fear. At the very end of a long hall way a middle aged man was sitting in a big but skeleon designed chair, though looked creepy the aura it's emitting is too high. When they almost reached at the foot of the  man. With just three meters gap. The girl stop. Bowed it's head and said " your Highness, she had woken up." after saying it she took a step on the side and remained her head low.

She was left standing in the middle. She looked around giving each side a force snap then looking at the girl and to the man she called Highness a moment ago. Yuki then stupidly pointed to herself giving the man a big question mark face.

The mad was sitting with its hand on his tilted head while the other one is tapping the side of its throne.

"Do you know why you are here?" he asked her with a cold voice. Not even saying a word she just shook her head violently. " that because you died, and when you are almost dead my reaper that collects soul came to your side." and with a wave of its hand a scene that day unfold before her, just like she's watching a movie in a projector. And just like what she remembered from the time Zen stopped the car to the point of her being almost dead, even hearing the last word she said to the reaper. A look of horror was written all over her face, she couldn't believe that it all actually happend and that she's so alive right now.

"Now you are standing infront of me, I will collect the debt from giving you another chance to live. In a condition the you have to oblige." he continued with the cold voice. " and since you are Heartless even when you are alive, and that many hated and curse you because of your evil ways, you are granted to wreak havoc to the human world. Even giving you the chance to take revenge to whomever you want. Just you have to serve my son who had been living in human world, though he might not need your service, as he is the prince of hell with a power no one can par, I just want you to keep an eye on him. Recently the other sector of the demon realm had been in great turmoil, opinions had been divided, although they cannot detest me or break the oath, they might go after to my son. And as for now, everything is being investigated here in the underworld." he coldly explained to her.

Still unable to absorb what was going on, she gave the man sitting on the throne a puzzled faced.  " did you mean to say that I have to protect your son? Hah! Are out of your mind mister? Me? A protector? You probably hit your head pretty hard. I'm a nobody. How can I even help your son." she indignantly said. The girl who was standing on the side look at her in disbelief, with mouth wide opened. How can this b*tch talk to his Highness in a vulgar manner. She was about to move to get her but the man just lift its hand and made her halt going back to her position and keep her head low.

"come over here." with a lazy voice he beckoned her to come closer to him. She rolled her eyes and started walking up to his throne and as she was standing infront of him, he moved his hand and touch her forehead, and with a flash she moved a step back, making her lose balance and falling down from the small height. She lay motionless for awhile calming her senses. The moment she opened her eyes again her facial expression became different. She voluntarily kneel with one of her knee and bowed her head.

"Your Highness, I am Yuki, ready to show the humans my wrath and protect His Highness son." and she lift her head giving the man a devilish smile.

"Splendid, go and see him now." he commanded and with another wave of his hand she vanish infront of him.

"Your Highness, if I may speak.?" the girl had spoken from the side.

"carry on" he gave her the privelege.

"she's only a beginner. How will she protect the Demon Prince?".

"she's special, but she's one of us. Her death was just another different story. It made everything easy for us. Soon you will see and understand what she really is." he told her giving a mischievous smile.
