Chapter 2- Finding A Place

Do I want to experience my own tale, and my own life? OF course I would. It didn't matter where, I was as long as it well wasn't earth.

I then got to watch a 8 year fast paced version of my life while getting to choose certain decisions in my life in the fashion of a 4 choices game. Some moments of my life as such were inevitably stupid. Like the one time I got to watch myself drink out of the toilet. Thankfully it had been flushed, but it was still incredibly nasty and degrading.

Now fully in control of my body I promised myself to never do stupid things like that again. Picking up a couple toys spread throughout my room I put them up and sat on my bed starting to plan this life out the best I could. In the world of Grimm encounters, and morbid fates. I also thought on how to use my system and what it meant to play a Scenario on Life.

"Host to answer your question. I'm going to give acting missions to you. If you succeed in your acting and put on a entertaining enough scenario. You will then be given a Reward Scenario that you get to freely take part in. These reward scenarios could be about any skill, prop/item, or knowledge in the omniverse.

Depending on how your reward scenario goes, you could get something evolved in the plot of that scenario as a reward, or nothing at all. So beware host and remember this system's motto. Life's just one scenario after another. Making the best out of each moment leads to the greatest scenario possible in your life."

They were words to live by that I quite liked. Taking my fist to air, I started fist pumping in excitement for my new life. Of course the random fist pumping was scene by my mom of this life who loved teasing me about it to. So much for saying I wasn't going to do anything embarrassing again.

It had taken me a little while to plan out multiple scenarios I could face and the rewards scenarios for them to. I wanted to get the best scores I could with this system, so I needed to put in the effort unlike some System hosts that just wait for their systems to give them a starter pack or something. Oh by the way, speaking of starter packs. Yeah, my system had absolutely none. Not even an acting pack or something to help me learn how to better act in certain situations.

It was today when I finally stepped out of my yard after all this time and went to the park in my neighborhood. Which was absolutely breath taking I wanted to add since they were needed to keep the Grimm away, and also needed to be strong enough to resist and awakening children that might get their auras so none are destroyed.

It was her however I met someone I knew I would end up growing up with. Seeing a kid that was lazy as heck, but nearly as smart as me even with me being an adult. I started thanking every diety out there for letting me meet a kid with a awakening and semblance that enhanced his smarts to my level. It also seemed to help him mentally mature earlier to which might both be good and horrifying.

Talking with him peacefully as we set at a table we talked about random things we had been learning slowly about this little world of ours. Picking up my little notepad that I ended up getting from my mom and then wrote in it in enchanting table so she wouldn't be able to read any of it and would just think of it as a child's random drawings I found myself talking about some of the what if plans I had with him for my power. Even if I didn't mention or even hint that it had anything to deal with one.

Our plans and ideas quickly started growing further and further until we eventually had to leave. Seeing Lethe off with a wave we promised to meet up here again if the chance ever allowed it. Our parents also seemed to be quite OK with the idea of it. Now if only I could convince them to let me practice a few things like fighting as early as possible in this world. Well, only time would tell.
