12 第12章: Under the Weather

"Good morning Jinta, need some help moving those boxes?"

"Good morning Erza sama, nope I'm good thanks"

"Err, mkay...Oh, Good morning Ururu, I'll help you to tidy up the place"

"Hi nee san, no need I can manage"

"Alright, Tessai good morning"

"Oh good morning miss, care to have some tea? I made some"

"Sure, thanks... Where are you going to place these books? I can help"

"You can place them over in that shelf"

"I love reading books, I didn't know you have these many" she commented carrying a pile of books and looking at the smut and erotic light novels on the other side of the shelf.

"Ah, it belongs to the manager"

"Oh, speaking of him, where is he? I haven't seen him around"

"Maybe he's still sleeping. It's weird that he's not up yet. I wonder if he's okay?"

"Uhmm, I'll go check on him"

"Oh please do, thank you miss" Tessai acknowledged and she nodded at him in response.

She skipped towards his room and knocked at the door "oi geta-bōshi kun wake up" no one answered.

She opened the door and went towards the sleeping Urahara "Tch, oversleeping... Oi, geta-bōshi kun wake up, join me for breakfast. I want to see you before I go to school" she commanded as she hold his shoulders and shakes him vigorously.

"Are you okay? You look pale! Answer me wretch" then she head batted the poor guy. "Aww, my head already hurts and your hitting me, doubles the pain!!!" He answered pinching the bridge of his nose. "Did you get yourself sick?" She asked in a gloomy face. "Just get out and let me be, I'm not in the mood to do anything" he said going back to bed facing his back from her and covering himself with the blanket.

She stood up crossed her arm under her breast while the other is holding her chin up, she closed her eyes hummed and nodded "I get it now, so a shinigami can also get sick because of the gigai" and she left his room and went to get the medicine kit.

"Tessai, what do you do when a shinigami gets sick?" She inquired "we treat them like normal people, why who is sick?" He answered "I think geta-bōshi kun is, don't bother, I'll take care of him" she answered with confidence.

Erza went to the kitchen and made some okayu. She took some ingredients from the pantry. She hummed a tune while tying the apron at her back then takes the donabe and put the rice and dashi then placed it on top of the stove to let it simmer and chopped and shredded some scallions, nori, ginger, ginseng, and salted salmon to add taste. Once it cooked she garnished it with sliced umeboshi, mitsuba and toasted sesame seeds. She removed her apron and placed the pot on a tray with pride. "There, all done" and she rested her hands on her waist and nodded.

"Tessai will you please make geta-bōshi kun eat this? Thanks" handing him the tray "I'll got out and buy some medicine, we ran out" she added and Tessai took the tray "I saved some for you and the kids" she offered "oi Jinta, Ururu... You guys come with me" she shouted "why? I don't want to go" Jinta protested "do you have a problem with that?" She growled with a death stare which made Jinta hug Ururu as they said "hai, let's go" in chorus.

"Hey Rukia, where's Erza?" Ichigo went over to her seat and asked "Yeah, I don't know where she is, I wonder why she's out" she said with a deep sigh. "Makes me kinda worried about her and miss her too" Ichigo said sheepishly. Rukia nudged his side "hey loosen up, Erza is a strong woman, she's alright I'm sure" she comforted the orange head. "I know, that's why she's always being targeted.  So, I have to be stronger so I can stand by her side and that's the more reason why I should protect her" he said seriously. Rukia hummed in agreement and smiled.

"Tadaima!!!" Erza greeted as she opens the door with Jinta and Ururu behind her eating ice popsicles. "Okaeri, oh you look stunning with that nurse outfit" Tessai welcomed them wiping his bleeding nose. "Thanks" she said striking a pose and winking "The kids said that if I wear this costume it will help him feel better. How's geta-bōshi kun?" She asked. "That will make him feel good alright" Tessai giggled "however he didn't touch the porridge" he added "that dimwitted wretch" she growled "I'm sorry miss, I failed" Tessai apologized "No, it's fine, don't worry I'll make him eat and bow down to me" she said sternly placing her hands on her hip and let out an evilish laugh. "She's scary" Ururu and Jinta commented "the manager is sure is a lucky man to have a good woman by his side" he said smiling at the two.

Erza walked over to Urahara's bed and sat on the chair next to it, she was sitting there staring at his sleeping face for a few minutes until he woke up. He saw Erza in the skimpy nurse outfit and his face went from pale to beet red. "Took you long enough to wake up. Now tell me straight out, where does it hurt? Shall I lower that fever first or would you prefer an injection?" she said crossing her legs one on top of the other. His nose bled frantically wiping it he faced away "shinku-hime" he said nervously trying to hide his blush. "Why are you so worked up? Don't you like my outfit? Jinta said that you seeing me in this will make you feel better" she asked while striking a pose "No, it's not bad, it's just bad for my health, you know I'm just a mere honest, handsome, perverted businessman" he said jokingly.

"It's alright" Erza replied softly with a gentle smile and pulled his head forcefully to rest on her chest and nodded. "Now, open your mouth" she said holding a spoon full of medicine. "I don't need that" he said before Erza glared at him and immediately without warning shoved the liquid into his mouth. He gulped it down, unable to move his head being pinned by her towards her chest "Are you trying to suffocate me?" he retorted. Erza didn't answer instead she pushed him back to bed and helped him sit down. "I heard you didn't like my porridge and refused to eat it. So if you don't like my cooking what will you eat then? shall I ask Tessai to cook for you?" she asked in a gloomy manner. "You cooked it? I didn't know, give that bowl. I'm hungry so I'll eat it" he replied. "Here" she handed the bowl and the spoon then placed tea cup on the table beside his bed "I also made you some green tea with lemon and honey to make you feel better" he nodded and took a spoonful of porridge and attempted to eat it but his clumsy weak hands dropped the spoon and it fell back into the bowl.

"Hand me that" she commanded but he just absentmindedly stared at her "I told you to hand me the bowl and spoon" took them from his hands then she scooped and blew on the porridge before holding it out in front of his mouth "now, say ahh" he looked at her slightly embarrassed "What are you doing?". Erza rolled her eyes unbothered by his statement "I'm feeding you, I'm feeding a sick person, so just shut up and eat" 

Kisuke gulped down the lump on his throat as he nodded slowly and opened his mouth. A smile formed his lips "Not bad, mmm, actually it's surprisingly good" he mumbled as she blew on another spoon "You think so?" she asked smiling back at him and he nodded before taking another spoonful. Once he finished the whole bowl she took the cup, sat on the bed close to him and gently blew on the tea and made him drink it while she holds it. "Feeling better now?" she asked placing her hand on his forehead. "I'll be fine soon" he assured her. "Good grief, I guess it can't be helped, I know what will make you feel better" she went out and when she came back she is wearing a sexy skimpy white strapless one piece swimsuit like dress, a red choker with a bell pendant, a white cat tail at the back and white cat ears with her hair hanging down, white cat paw mittens and knee high boots. "meoow!" she posed with her paw near her face "geta-bōshi kun, look at me, I'm a cat... meow!" the she went on all fours "I also have a tail... meow!"

"What the hell are you wearing!!!" Kisuke blurted all flustered- face burning red and nose bleeding excessively. "Why? Don't you like it? Ururu said cats make you happy so I thought it'll help" she said sheepishly "I love it, actually you look cute, come here let me pet you cute little kitty" he teased. Erza giggled and walked towards him and purred. He pulled her and pinned her which made her bounce as he slammed her into the bed. He held both her hands above her head, their fingers intertwined while his legs straddled on both her sides- caging her. He stared at her brown orbs as he hover over her body. "Crap, he's too close, I think I over did it" she thought "Boy, this is awkward... So how do you feel now?" she asked the guy to break the silence. "Erza, I- I..." he stutters foolishly as his lips slowly moves closer to hers and she closed her eyes tightly and bit her lower lip to brace for impact.

"Kisuke, we heard you're sick and Erza....." Rukia's words stopped when they saw Kisuke on top of her in a lewd manner. Tessai face palmed and Ichigo was annoyed and jealous "What are you doing to her, I thought you're sick" he growled. "It's not what you think" Erza declared. "Take your filthy hands of her" Ichigo demanded "geez, you guys don't know how to knock, this is my room I deserve some privacy" he let out a deep sigh releasing Erza and sitting down at the edge of the bed. Ichigo jaw dropped, almost fainted as the blood dripped out of his nose at the sight of Erza's cat outfit "I don't blame the guy" Rukia commented.

Erza took Urahara's haori and covered herself with it and pushed the light blond back to his bed and pulled the covers over him. "Get your rest geta-bōshi kun" Erza commanded sternly, ruffling his hair and putting a cold towel on his head. "You better get well fast or I'll the beat the crap out of you" she said jokingly "Tch" he grunted "come on get some sleep already" she ordered, he nodded in response and stared at her until he felt his eyes becoming heavy "Thank you " he whispered and she hummed back with a smile. Erza faced the others and motioned them to be quiet as she watch him until she could hear his steady breaths into slumber. She then turned towards the others sighing as she joined them.

"Thanks for stopping by, he should be well  tomorrow" she said with a small nod and smile. "I'll make you guys some tea and snacks" she invited as they all left him to rest and had a nice chat.
