11 第11章: Unison Raid- Senbonzakura x Benizakura

They walked and stopped by a store, Byakuya picked up a hair clip with a red and pink cherry blossom on it. "I think this looks pretty on you" he said taking a few strand of her hair and clipping them with it "There you go" he said. Erza looked at herself in the mirror and blushed "yeah, I think it's cute, thank you" He nodded and held her hands after making the payment. "The red one symbolizes you and the pink one is me. They are just like our zanpakutō- Senbonzakura and Benizakura" he said with pride. Erza hum in agreement to shy to say anything "Let's try that" she said pointing at the shooting game, he smile and went to it.

The spies hid themselves neatly behind the large bush enough to cover them but still manage to get a good view of the targets while they can slightly hear their conversation. Ichigo is itching to snatch Erza away from him but Rukia is stopping him by using a binding spell. Urahara is getting impatient but remembered Rukia's plea "After this horrifying day I promise to win Erza's heart. I'll stop playing pranks on her and stop annoying her too" he thought with a teary eye.

"Alright, it's so nice to see a cute couple trying the game" the stall owner commented "No, we're not..." her words cut of by Byakuya's finger on her lips "It's alright Erzie" he winked at her, handed the fee and took the gun "so, which one do you like" he asked her pointing at the prizes. She hugged his arm and pointed at the big black and white panda stuffed toy "good luck" she whispered and stepped away to give him space, he nodded at her and aimed for the target.

Byakuya's first try missed as he cursed under his breath but still tries to keep his cool to impress his date. Ichigo and Kisuke secretly prays that he misses all his shots and inwardly giggles everytime he does. Byakuya finished the whole round not getting the prize "Again" He handed the money to the owner and he gave him the bullets in return. Erza can't help but let out soft laugh and wild giggles everytime he looses. "You can do it Kuchiki kun" Erza cheered which made him all fired up but still didn't get the prize.

"You know I can do it too, right?" She teased and handed the payment to the store owner and got her turn. She leaned towards Byakuya and whispered "now, which one do you like?" He blushed and laughed "you know that it's you that I like! Challenge accepted" he answered "well then, let's get to it" she said ignoring his confession aiming for the target. Erza did a really great job finishing the game and got him a pink and red stuffed cat.

After several attempts he finally got the prize. He handed the stuffed toy to her and she looked at it with glittering eyes similar to that of a child's. She hugged it tightly and smiled at him "Thank you, I'll name him Bya kun" and kissed him on the cheeks. He smiled and touched the part she pecked.

"I got something for you too" she turned around "tada!!!" She said. Byakuya jaw dropped as he wipe his nose. She wore a headband with cat ears and purred "How do I look?" She asked with a cute innocent smile.

Kisuke almost fainted seeing her cosplaying as a cat. "What happened to him?" Ichigo asked Rukia "oh yeah, he has a thing about cats" she said trying to knock him back to his senses "she really is my type" he said waking up nose bleeding exaggeratedly.

"Beautiful" Byakuya stuttered and was surprised when she handed him the prize she got from the arcade. "We look alike, aren't we?" He just hummed and nodded then hugged the stuff toy tightly "I'll name her Erzie" wrapped her in his arms and buried his nose in her hair.

"I'm hungry" she said tilting her head up to meet his eyes. "I know what you wanna eat, you love strawberries and cakes, right?" He tries to confirm "how did you know!?! It's your sister, she told you!!!" She said excitingly and he nodded taking her hand as he lead the way.

They stopped at a nice and cozy Cafe and chose to sit outside. The waiter handed them the menu and they chose what they wanted to eat but Byakuya whispered something in the waiter's ear. Erza was hugged Bya kun while touching her hair clip playfully. "Do you like it? The stuffed animal and the clip?" He inquired "I don't like them... I love them!!!" She said with a small giggle.

"Yes! Nice move brother" Rukia cheering from behind the bush with the two jealous to death boys with her.

The waiter came back with two plates he set the one with strawberry cheesecake at Erza's side of the table and a cross to where her date sat he placed a blueberry cheesecake and placed a huge glass of strawberry frappe with two straws in it. The two enjoyed their meal chatting about different things. Erza tells him about her stay in the world of the living and how she's getting along with Rukia and he updates her about soul society as they laugh in between earning a piercing glare from Kisuke and Ichigo.

Erza leaned forward to sip on the straw her eyes looking around when all of a sudden Byakuya leaned forward and took a sip staring straight at her face. She looked at him and their gazes locked for a moment before she realized that their noses touched because their faces where too close at each other. She moved away her face tinted red shaming the color of her hair and he did not move still staring at her.

Kisuke curses at the scene and his hands forming a fist and decided to stop them and take Erza away from his rival when he felt that he couldn't move. "Kyaaaaahhh" Rukia is on a fan girling mood and cast a binding spell on him too so like Ichigo they can't ruin the day. "Rukia!! Why you" he growled earning a death stare from her. Ichigo kept silent making a mental note of what Erza likes and dislikes as he observes the red head carefully trying to formulate a plan on how to win her.

"Uhm, err, Kuchiki kun let's catch the sunset at the ferris wheel" she breaks the awkward silence "sounds good to me" he answered and stood up reaching out to help her stand. They waited in line for their turn. The spies were worried that once they got up to the ride they won't be able to see them even if they ride along so they decided to wait for them to finish.

When they got into the ride and reached the top "woah! It's beautiful!" She exclaimed pointing at the scene of the nicely tinted sky with mixed colors of orange, red, purple, yellow, blue and white all joining together in harmony. "Yes, very beautiful indeed" Byakuya agreed looking at her.

He hugged her tightly which surprised her with his sudden action. He pecked her neck slightly while sniffing her sweet strawberry scent that made him addicted to it and crave for more. Erza's grip tightened on the stuffed animal she's hugging and blinked a few times as her heart begins to pound out of her chest.

"Let's stay like this for a while" he mumbled on her neck and stayed like that until the end of the ride. Much to Byakuya's disappointment that his moment with her ended so soon he intertwined his fingers on hers as they walked silently "Thank you for today Erzie" he said breaking the awkward silence and she just hummed in response. "I'll walk you home now" she smiled at him "mkay"

On their way there was sudden blackness in the area then an opening that looks like a dark void appeared and from it a pair of radical looking humanoids with a jaguar like form and has a hollow mask and holes in their chests.

Byakuya was shaken and immediately took her in his arms, she looked at the dimensional crack and glanced at him. His eyes focused on it, his body stiff- tensed and sweat starts trickling down his neck. His grip tightened on his katana. "Byakuya" she called his attention looking at him quizzically.

His grip tightened on her shoulder "adjuchas" his voice is full of worry. " They are the second classification of Menos. They are smaller than Gillians and far fewer in number. They are much smarter and stronger than Gillians, and are often the ones who lead Gillians into battle.Adjuchas are commonly solitary creatures, rarely joining into groups. They are powerful enough to challenge a captain of the Gotei 13." He added.

Erza placed her hand over his which lays on her shoulder and squeezed it gently "It's okay, we'll do this together" and smiled. He looked at her eyes like they were two rare gems, each time more beautiful with every glance. He felt the urge to protect her "No Erzie, I'll do this... I won't forvige myself if you get hurt" and guided her in a safe distance. Byakuya summoned his zanpakutō and fought, his opponents are of equal strength and got injured in the process.

Erza couldn't move at the binding spell he cast on her. Byakuya fell on the ground badly hurt so she did everything to unbind herself. Ichigo and Rukia was about to jump into the battle to help them but Kisuke stopped them "it's not yet time. Let's see what Erza can do" so they watched intently but ready to make a move.

Byakuya stood up angered by his love "don't be stubborn, I told you I won't let you fight" he scowled. "Who told you that I was going to fight alone?" She answered helping him up. "I have an idea, we call it Unison Raid" she added. "hold my zanpakutō and let me have yours, don't ask just do it" so the man complied. They are facing each other and she held his free hand fingers crossed with each other and stretched out bodies leaning closely with one another. "Ready?" She asked and he hummed sheepishly.

"On my mark release your reiatsu... Now!" Both release d their spiritual pressure and combined into a powerful ripple of energy which made the spies jaw drop. "Now activate your bankai and drop my katana on my signal" and the man nodded. "Do it" she commanded "scatter Senbonzakura Kageyoshi" and dropped the katana and Erza did the same "dance, yōtō Benizakura: bakuhatsu".

Energy ripples expand out, turning the surrounding area dark, and within seconds, two rows of a thousand giant blades rise up from the ground. Those thousand swords scatter, and countless flying blades similar to a rain of cherry blossom petals but now is color red because of Benizakura and instead of just piercing and cutting the adjuchas it also exploded ending the battle in just minutes. Erza smirk at him and winked.

Everyone was amazed. Kisuke clapped to praise them and call their attention. "You guys, what are you doing here?" She said happily. Rukia and Ichigo panicked not knowing what to say. "We felt your reiatsu and came for back up but you manage to finish the job without our help" Kisuke reasoned.

"Alright, it's time to go home Shinku-hime Chan" and he took her hand. "I'll walk you home Erza Chan" Ichigo said taking her other hand. Kisuke stared at him "you don't have to I got her covered" slapping his hands away from hers. "It's pretty dangerous something like that might attack again so I better be there to protect her" the orange head said in annoyance grabbing her hand again. Kisuke's face twitched "come on Shinku-hime Chan, I'll take care of you" grabbing her from the waist while Ichigo pulls her back.

Erza burst into laughter, pulled her hands and knocked them on their heads "dummies" she said. "Byakuya kun come with us so we can treat your wounds, geta-boshi kun is amazing in treating wounds, isn't that right?" she invited nudging an elbow to the light blond "yes I think you can come with us, Kuchiki Chan please help your brother, let's go" he kissed her cheek glancing slyly at the two males and held her hand again and so as Ichigo- he leaned on and kissed her other cheek. Erza was frozen for a second. Both of them holding each of her hands as she walk side by side with the two. She looked back to glance at the siblings and smiled as she nodded. The Kuchiki siblings stared at the three in shock as they walked behind them.
