Scarlet gave him an innocent look and focused on his face saying "I'm not your average Female, so I will be fine to carry on alone. Without the help of any Males."
He just smiled and said "It will be dark soon and like our Nest Leader Oliver, said it is not safe here. Your Pup will be safer inside with us, for the night at least. Who knows, you might like us and want to stay. What do you say to that?"
Scarlet looked at him with amusement. Thinking that this Male was nuts to think that she would stay with people that just attacked her, after promising that she wouldn't be hurt.
He seen that Scarlet was not that interested in staying and was about to walk away. He quickly said, "I am a Doctor, and I would like to talk to you about a strange plant that I found recently."
This Piqued her interest, turning to him she said, "What makes you think I know or care about anything that you just said?"
His face broke out in a smile and said "I was out scouting for plants and herd about a Little Red Eyed Female that was helping the Green Mountain Villages Females and Doctors. It was said that you were different, and a Female Worth getting to Know."
"I'll give it to yeah 'Web Head' you are direct." She sighed "Fine then lead the way." What Scarlet said shocked everybody.
As the Green Tarantula started to walk, he said "My name is…"
Scarlet cut him off "Wow, okay, I don't do names. You are 'Web Head' to me. If you don't like it, you can deal with it."
"Sebastian." Was all that came from the front of her.
She just rolled her eyes and continued to follow him in.
As they made their way down the Maze-like Tunnels Scarlet was marking her way with her Energy. Her mark will tell her the Who, What, When, Where, and How. Of the layout.
Who is around, What is in the tunnel, Where everyone is, How many there were, and she could roughly Calculate When she should leave.
After what felt like a 25-minute walk they finally made it to Doctor Sebastians' Room. When Sebastian opened the door Scarlet's interest was piqued when she seen some of the strange instruments that he had in the room. As soon as she seen them, she ran right up to them and rambled question after question asking what things were and what they did.
Everyone in the Tunnel was dumbfounded when they saw and heard Scarlet run around asking questions. Sebastian just laughed and began to explain things One by One. He had interesting Juicers, Grinders, and some other items that seemed New to her. When Sebastian seen that she was really interested in what he had in his room, he wondered how she would react to what he wanted to show her. When he was finally able to get to it, she had a strange look on her face.
Not knowing what he had in his hand he was worried when he seen a bad look on her face. She said "Put that down! We need something to put in so we can take it outside and not touch it. To be honest I'm surprised that you are not dead now."
Scarlet knew that not everything here was the same as her world, but she could not take a chance with this plant. She asked "How long have you had this here? Has anyone come to you sick? Are you feeling sick at all?"
Raffling off all these questions Sebastian was worried. Just what did he bring into his Nest? He quickly did as he was told and as soon as it was contained, he was told to put it on the floor, and it was her turn to fill him with wonder as she moved in a way that he never thought a Female would and the basket that had the plant was then sucked into the ground.
When it was gone, Scarlet grabbed a tube from her bag and told him to hold out his hands and she poured some Strange Liquid on his hands. He then asked what it was because she was starting to scare him with how she reacted. Scarlet didn't say anything for a long time, she just checked him and around the room and started to mix things. When she did say something, it was a very rude tone telling him to answer her questions.
Not getting an answer to his question, Sebastian answered hers. "I just brought it back this morning when I went to look for herbs and I have never seen it before. No one has touched it but me. What is it what did I just bring into my Nest?"
Scarlet didn't answer his questions, but asked him question after question instead, which he answered but kept asking what it was after every answer.
Scarlet saw that he was telling the truth and didn't see anything that would tell her that he was sick in any way. This fascinated her that he was unaffected by the plant even though he had direct contact with it. Looking at him she said, "Where did you find this plant? Can you take me there?"
Looking at Scarlet, he was angry that she was not answering him, but kept it down and said "It was a long way away. Too far to go now it will be dark soon. I can take you in the morning."
This didn't sit well with Scarlet and said "I need you to trust me. Just close your eyes and envision where you found the plant."
He did as she asked and after he said, "I have the place in mind. What do we do now?" Sebastian suddenly felt small arms encircle around his waist and herd Scarlet say, "Now just keep your eyes shut, and don't lose the vision."
This was all new to him, but he did as she asked, and he liked the feeling of her arms around him. He oddly felt like he was moving and next thing that he knew he felt a chilly breeze on his skin and her arms were unwinding from him. Instinctively he grabbed her and held her close to him, not wanting her to let go of him.
This made Scarlet mad, and she said, "Let go! We're here." Sebastian realized what he was doing and let her go and opened his eyes. Looking around he seen that he was in fact where he had thought of and somehow, she brought him here. "This Little Female was indeed a very curious little thing." He thought to himself. She looked at him and said, "Where did you find it?"
As he pointed to the spot where he found it, she went over, to check and out of nowhere he heard what sounded like two rocks smashed agents at each other, then a big fire just appeared out of nowhere. Before he could react and pull Scarlet away the fire was out, and the plant was completely gone.
The plant was gone in its entirety and there was nothing left of it. Not even the roots remained. Not knowing what to do now he looked at Scarlet and said "What is going on here? What was that plant? and how did you get us here so fast?"
Again, she didn't answer his questions and said, "Close your eyes again." Sebastian was angry at her but did as she asked all the same. He closed his eyes and was glad he did because her arms came back around him, and he felt complete again. But it was too fast before he knew it, she was taking her arms from him again. He felt sad and incomplete immediately after she let go, not liking this feeling, but knowing that was not One to be messed with, he had to push it all down.
Sebastian already knew that they were back in his room even before he opened his eyes. He forced himself to stay calm and asked her One last time "What was that plant? Why was it so important that it be destroyed so thoroughly?"
Again, she didn't answer, she just grabbed his hand and looked at it. After checking his hands again Scarlet spoke so softly saying "That plant it like a plague, and it can destroy all out there without discrimination Good, Bad, Young, Old. No One has touched it and lived. Not until you, that is. Now why is that?"
He watched her studying his hand and said "I believe that it is because I am a Spider, and we have little fibers on our fingers. We don't always touch things directly and this is a protection that only we spiders have."
This caused Scarlet to look up upon his face full of wonder and fascination. Thus, causing Sebastian to feel a since of pride and excitement within. He said "I could tell you all our secrets if only for the asking. If you will stay with me that is. There is just so much to tell."
Not paying any attention to him she said "I'm not interested in staying in any place that has already tried to harm me, and I don't like it here anyway. People annoy me, if not for an incident I would not have my Pup."
Before he could start to argue his point, a Young Male came running into the room breathing heavily like he ran at full speed the whole way there. Just as Sebastian was about to scold him for coming in at the wrong time the Young Male said "There is a Male looking for her. It's a Black Tiger."
