1 The stair game

It was in a stairway, a boy who was 11 years old, holding a blindfold in his hands in the bottom of the stairway. He said to himself "its time to prove stories are only stories!" but little did he know this choice will change his life.

He shouted "i come before you today lucifer! Open the gates of your kingdom for me!" as he repeats it 5 more times then puts on the blindfold then he goes up 6 steps counting them aswell. Then he goes down by 7.

But there was another step, he thought to himself "this can't be right... I started at the bottom... He goes up another 6 and goes down 7, with the same result, then he starts hearing faint whispers.

His hands were ready to remove the blindfolds to make everything over, but if It didn't work and he stumbled and fell... He'd be stuck in the underworld forever...

He steadied his hands and then continued the game, he started sweating, the voices became louder, then a loud deep voice was heard, as if it was said in front of him.

"what is it that you wish?" the boy said "my name is Joe!" the voice replied "my name is illyderius, greek demon General." then joe did an shy laugh and said "my name's actually Ash, and... Can i remove my blindfold?"

Illyderius said "go ahead, your about to win the game anyway." as Ash removed his blindfolds, he looked around him in excitement of what would've been the underworld. A new world.

Then a big disappointment shot him, everything around him was pitch black... But at least there was another person with him, a red demon in armor, with bloody bone wings.

Ash said "at least your here with me in this pitch black darkness..." illyderius replied "the underworld is restricted from outsiders, but considering your our first player in centuries... How about an exception?"

Suddenly the darkness started disappearing, and an entire platform was created, firey pillars, mixtures of materials that doesn't exist on earth, illyderius said "welcome to the underworld!"

He continued "now... What is your wish?" Ash thought it carefully as he possibly could, but a realization appeared to him, he wished "i wish... My brain is a lot stronger than it should be! Higher iq, eq, analysis, evaluation... All of it!"

Then illyderius turned around and said "wish granted... See you... At sawcon!" Ash looked confused and asked "sawcon? What's that?" then illyderius looked behind him towards Ash and said "sawcon deez nuts boy!" then he flicked his fingers. And Ash was back to where he started the game...

But he looked around him, everything was in fine details, he was so excited he told everyone, his friends, his family, and his relatives.

But no one believed him, everyone thought he was a weirdo one after another he lost his friends. And he became friendless, and now at age 16, he mostly kept to himself in a new school.

In another country, before he lived in New York City, now he's living in Japan, his parents overseas working in new Hamshire in the UK.

After a few weeks of learning Ash became fluent in Japanese. And started learning in a school a train ride away.

Ash got into a bus ride, and sat next to a man. Then 2 students around his age sat behind them, and then they started chatting about a legend.

"a being will do everything he can to make you turn around... And once you do, you will be transported to a world filled with darkness..."

The man was intrigued but didn't want to talk to them, then suddenly students wearing the same uniform as them left the bus, the man tried to look behind him but i stopped him.

He asked "what are you doing!?" Ash replied with a serious look "were currently playing a game... Don't look behind you..." then a sudden realisation hits him and he dared not look back.

The 2 students stood up and left on the next stop, but when Ash saw them... They were a middleaged couple, when they left they stared at the both of them ...

Ash puts his hand behind the seat and he was met with an arm, he pulled it towards him and the man let out a scared muffled noise.

Ash told him "were still not safe, and it looks like we're gonna be late..." he sighed and asked "since we can't look behind anyways want to start a conversation?"

He nodded and said "that might help keep things off my mind! My name is sagi nikaroko, I'm a business man and... Thank you for saving my life!"

Sagi gave Ash his hand and Ash did the same, and he introduced himself "my current identity is Ash wakaranai, i uhh... Changed my last name!"

They chatted for over 30 minutes, sagi was a business man and Ash introduced himself as a student at sinigami High school, Ash checked behind the seats and everything was now normal. And then they went their separate ways.
