1 The Beginning - Chapter 1

I, Alexander III, fought and won another war. King hosted a banquet for all of us samurais, finally, it was time to head home.

As I was heading to my home, I had an uneasy feeling in my heart, I opened the door and was prepared to be welcomed by my wife, instead, I was greeted with my wife's rotting dead body.

From what I see, my wife was slaughtered after I left for war.

I was resentful that I wasn't able to protect my wife, was my occupation as a samurai only a joke?!

Like struck by a lightning, I was reminded that I have a sweet daughter, like a dog in panic, I ran around the house trying to find her, but then heard silent whimpers from the closet, cautiously I opened the closet door, I was elated to find my daughter safe and healthy.

I held her in my arms for a long peaceful time, after a while a put her down to sleep, I started looking out for more bandits. Making sure there was none, I started packing for my daughter and I. I knew that we need to move to protect my daughter.

From there, we moved out of the city without notifying, of course, that was after burying my wife and performing a proper ritual.
