5. Legendary growing pains

POV Samuel Kent

(Date March 10, 1994)

I stood still in the white blank room when then the drones fell from the roof and flew up from the ceiling sensing the area around I counted six drones in total.

Two in front three behind and one stealth drone behind the two in front.

"Alright, Sam the gravity is going to be turned up to 7x earth's gravity," Bulmas' voice echoed through the speakers and I looked at one of the cameras in the room "seven I thought we were going to ten?" I asked crossing my arms I heard muffled talking through the speakers.

"We just want to take things slow my boy make sure everything is running smoothly," said the voice of Dr.briefs said and I only nodded knowing that Ma probably forced the doctor to change the gravity.

The white room slowly turned into a shade of red and I felt my body become far heavier than before but still enough for me to feel somewhat comfortable as I practiced throwing some punches and kicks and doing some stretching before sending a thumbs up to the camera.

The Forbes began to circle me and I watched them but not just with my eyes, but with all my senses then I felt the drone to my left charge up the energy inside building up.

I instinctively leaned my head back and watched the blue bolt fly past my head and rushed towards it.

POV Bulma

Can't and I monitored the training session watching how the drones tried to work together the stability of the gravity generator, and the surrounding environment but I was more focused on Sam and his anatomy and biology reacted to the increase of gravity and I glanced up to see how he was doing.

"See I told you he would be awesome," Clark said watching his brother intensely as he attacked and dodged the drones "Yes I know but doesn't this seem a bit too much maybe 7x earth's gravity is a bit much," Ms.Kent said flinching every time a drone fired a bolt at Sam but so far none had even touched him.

Mr.Kent put a hand on his wife's shoulder but unlike his wife who had a look of concern, Mr.Kent had a proud smile on his face as Sam jumped and high-kicked a drone destroying it instantly.

Destroying the drone caused two more one stealth and one regular to join the training session.

See the new drones same generated two balls of green energy and blasted past the regular drones and towards the two stealth drones each drone tried to evade.

Only for my eyes to go wide as each ball of energy follows the drones and destroys them in a small explosion I grabbed Clark "When did he learn to do that!" I asked and Clark shrugged but still had a smile watching as Sam fired off five more energy balls destroying all the drones.

"Well done my boy how are you feeling," my father asked and Sam gave a thumbs up taking slow deep breaths "alright then phase two will begin in just a minute," and two humanoid robots came out of the ground.

Sam smiled and gestured for them to attack 'I guess 5 seconds is a minute for Saiyans' I thought as the training bots charged.

The fight was even but just by looking at the computers and how Sam was smiling he was holding back so I increased the difficulty by sending in 3 more robots two with stun batons and one with a stun-blaster.

The robots immediately acted accordingly the first two caught his arms and restrained Sam with the two stun batons to shock him and the stun-blaster to fire shot after shot.

"AHHH!" Sam screamed, "Turn them off now!" Ms.Kent said almost leaping to the console if not for Clark and Mr.Kent and father began the emergency shut off.

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep* *Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

Sam's scooter turned on seeing this I places it on my head and watched in astonishment at the numbers it was displaying "Dad don't!" I yelled before he could finalize the shut off "What is it dear?" he asked and I couldn't answer him as I watched something happening.

2,300. . .2,800. . .3,250. . .4,350. . .4,440. . .

"RRAAAHH!" Sam combined to scream and this time Mr.Kent came up "What's going on," he asked calmly as Ms.Kent was freacking out "it's incredible Sams power readings. . .!" father said but couldn't finish as he watched "they're going higher than ever before he's gaining power!" I finished for my father.

4,570. . .5,085. . .5,325. . .5,835. . .6,044. . .

"RRRRRRAAAAAAHHHHH!!!" a green pulse of energy destroyed four of the robots the two holding him evaporated.

The stun batons were flung back against the wall and blew upon impact leaving the stun-blaster continued to fire on Sam but the blast seemed to ricochet off of an invisible shield.

*Crash**Crash*

The stun-blaster was suddenly ripped in half its arm blaster destroyed and its body riddled with holes "Fast" was all I thought as Sam was standing over the broken robot and I didn't even see him move and only now did I notice that Sam had changed slightly

His hair was standing on end his body had become bigger and more muscular and then there were his eyes the once black orbs now had a wild golden glow to them the once calm white aura now was a wildfire of neon green.

"Alright my boy let's take a break ok," my father said voice trembling seeing as the power reading was still climbing.

7,230. . .7,851. . .8,025. . .8,505. . .9,000. . .

"Sam get a hold of yourself!" I yelled into the mic and I finished back as I made eye contact with him his now golden eyes looked like a wild animal a predator looking at prey.

He raised his hand and pointed it at us and a neon green and gold energy began to gather and get bigger.

9,230. . .9,500. . .9,875. . .10,000. . .

Just as it reached 10,000 I pressed a big blue button on the console the vents in the training room opened wide.

"What's going on what are you doing!" Ms.Kent asked as I watched the power reading slowdown stop and stop at 10,673 and begin to drop.

Sam began rocking back and forth then fell to the ground the green glow of his attack and aura disappearing his hair returning to normal.

POV Samual Kent

"Hmmm. . .what happened?" I said waking up and looking around I saw I was alone inside the medical wing of the laboratory looking down I was still wearing my Saiyan armor I was just about to stand up when the door to the room opened.

"My baby boy!" Ma yelled embracing me in a hug and I felt tears land on my face "I'm ok ma, not even a dent on my armor" I said hugging her back confused.

"Are you sure son you gave us quite the scare?" Pa said putting a hand on my shoulder and I nodded "Yeah but why am I in the medical room what happened?" I asked and just as he opened his mouth.

"You went berserk and almost attacked us," Clark said "I did what!?!" I yelled but Pa and Ma calmed me down.

It didn't take long for me to be told the full story and Dr.briefs showed me a recording of what happened after that I was left to rest.

Because of the pain, I instinctively just powered up and almost transformed fully into Lssj, but instead, I became an FLSSJ (false legendary super saiyan).

"I need to control myself better I can't go on a rampage like that," I said to myself but I kept wondering how I was supposed to do that no LSSJ had ever been able to control the form except for one.

Kale had gained control through not practice or training but by focusing on who she cared about Caulifla.

"I just need to do is focus," I said but I knew it would probably be more difficult then that if I wanted to control my power.
