28 The Tournament Begins

In a blink of an eye, two months had already passed for the new heroes. During that time they had trained hard under the guidance of the pro heroes and now they're stronger than ever before and before they knew it. It was the day before the tournament

The teachers decided to throw a party for class 1-A to celebrate their work and dedication and relax before tomorrow. The party had plenty of delicious food that the school made themselves so the students to the chance to eat delicious food

Goku and the rest of the boys were eating the delicious foods that were provided. Even though all of them were big eaters, Goku was practically eating the majority of the food by himself. It even got to a point where the rest of the body had nothing more to eat due to Goku devouring everything. luckily the school provided more food and the rest continued eating

Even though the rest of the boys and girls were having a good time and were enjoying themselves. There was one particular student that seemed to be lost in thought. Mina saw this and went to talk to them "What's wrong Momo? I have never seen you this down before"

Momo who was sitting next to the window just sighed "It's nothing just... It's been two months since I saw Shin and he hasn't been responding lately to my text. I really miss him

Mina just sat next to her "If there's one thing I know about the Son Family is that their....special"

"DAMNIT MONKEY! YOU ATE ALL MY FOOD!"

"THEN IT SHOULDN'T HAD BEEN ON MY PLATE!"

They both turned to see Goku arguing with Bakugo. Everybody knows that Goku gets very territorial when it comes to his food

"See what I mean? It's not very surprising that Shin hasn't been able to respond. probably due to him training a lot. Just know that he cares about you dearly. He also did say that he'll come on the day of the tournament so tomorrow you get to finally see him again!"

Momo just smiled looked outside the window. She was excited that she would finally get to Shin again

Today was the day everybody was preparing for. The 23rd world student tournament starts Today! All students were told that they needed to be on school grounds early to make their way towards the tournament grounds.

Once everybody was present, they were all separated into two groups boys and girls, and would ride separate buses all the way to the tournament grounds. It looked liked everybody was present but once they did a roll call they seemed to be missing one person

"Is Son Shin here?" Yelled out Aizawa

Everything went silent. They were all waiting to hear Shin's voice come out of the crown to announce his presence but it never happened. Aizawa wrote something down on the clipboard and questioned somebody else "Has anybody seen Shin?"

Again everything went silent as nobody knew the whereabouts of Shin and where he went. Then out of nowhere, somebody spoke out "Sensi! it could be that Shin is already there and he's just waiting for us " It was Momo who yelled out. She didn't want to see Shin get disqualified and decided to make an excuse on his behalf. hopping that would be enough time for shin to make his way

Aizawa eyed for a good few seconds before he just shook his head in agreement and continued on with the roll call. To him, it did make sense that Shin could already be there and is just waiting for the rest of them. He pushed it to the back of his mind and continued on

If Momo wasn't worried before she was now. She knew that Shin wouldn't be late for these kinds of things and began to worry if something had happened to him during these 2 months. She didn't want to think about such things and hoped he was alright

"Where are you, Shin?"

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN ALL AROUND THE WORLD! TODAY IS SOMETHING SPECIAL THAT WE HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!"

"THAT'S RIGHT! TODAY IS THE 23RD WORLD STUDENT TOURNAMENT!"

"YAAAAAAAAAAA" everybody in the stands cheered in excitement. Compared to the other world tournaments, this one was the biggest yet standing at Five Hundred Thousand sitting in the stadium and 5 million worldwide! making it the biggest world tournament ever held!

"WE WILL BE YOUR LOVING ANNOUNCERS! PROFESSOR lOUD AND PRESENT MIC!" (The OG announcer from DBZ)

They both began to announce all the students from all over the world. All the students from their respective countries walked out the group by group filling up the arena. In a matter of minutes, the ring that was extremely spacious was almost filled up with 400 students. Then after a while, It was finally time for UA time in the spotlight

"NOW ITS TIME FOR THE ONES WHO PUSHED BACK THE VILLAINS AND MADE THEM RUN IN FEAR! HEARTS FILLED WITH COURAGE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS! THE HERO COURSE, CLASS 1-A!!!!!" everybody yelled in excitement as class 1-A walked out with their heads hung high. Professor loud continued on with the rest of the classes

"NEXT UP IS CLASS THAT EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVEN'T RECEIVED THEIR TIME IN THE SPOTLIGHT, THEY MATCH EVEN CLASS 1-A IN TERMS OF POTENTIAL! CLASS 1-B!!!!!!"

"NEXT UP IS THE GENERAL STUDIES, CLASSES C, D, E!!!! AND THE BUSSINES COURSE, CLASS I, J, K!!!! NOW ALL THE STUDENTS FROM UA ARE HERE!!!" Everybody once again yelled in excitement as their one more step until everything officially begins

The R-rated hero, Midnight walked out and up the stage to announce that it was time for the student pledge and announced 4 students' names from the other countries to walk up. Once called, she went to yell out the last name

"Representing the students of UA, Son Shin!"

but nobody walked up the stage. soon everybody looked around for this Shin person but had luck finding him and everybody in the stadium started to whisper among themselves

"Will Son Shin please come up the stage! but again nobody walked up

After a few minutes, a worker ran out towards Midnight and once close whispered something in her ear. she nodded her head in response and the worker ran back inside

"It appears that Son Shin is not here due to reasons. then according to the rules of the tournament, Son Shin is disquali..."

"WHO THE HELL IS THAT!?" yelled out a random person from the stadium cutting Midnight off

Everybody looked up and were shocked to see somebody descending from the sky. their face was covered with a hood so nobody couldn't see how they looked like and their hands were in their pockets. Out of nowhere everybody started to feel an immense pressure fall on them. Many people, students, and even heroes started sweating and some were even panting as the pressure coming from the person was too much for them to withstand. Never had they felt so much power coming from one person

Then the person landed on the small stage and took the mic out of Midnight's trembling hands. All she could see was the person piercing yellows eyes

"For all of us, this tournament is a stepping stone for the new generation of heroes, and while some other person will ramble on about being good heroes and how we should strive to be the best we can be, I'm not that type of guy and I'm only here to say one thing. Good luck to everybody else for reaching 2nd and 3rd place"

Then the person took their hood off, revealing their long, black, spikey hair

"For I am Son Shin and I will be the one who wins this tournament"
