Chapter 2: But I Have A lot Of Questions Left

"I want to reborn as the first prince of the greatest empire in that New World"

The handsome guy said, The old man just smiled at him and with a snap of his fingers the guy disappeared, nowhere to be seen. At first, Adam did not believe that this old man was a 'God' but after seeing this, he was kind of convinced but not fully. 'I wouldn't believe it until I experience it' he thought.

Also, he could not understand why this guy chose that kind of wish, 'We know that he is handsome and has some kind of 'class' compared to others on Earth, but doesn't he know that living in a royal family is even harder than being the boss of a huge company'.

Adam thought he could not understand why he chose that wish, one of his 'friends' from Earth was a prince in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. That 'friend' told him that living in the palace is harder than anything he has done in all of his years, all the intrigues, the schemes and things like that. To live there you need to have a lot of guts and also intellect, or you'd be dead before knowing it.

The nerdy guy, on the other hand, was even more excited and advanced towards the old man to say his wish.

"I want to have a System like those in the novels."

The old man did the same action and the nerdy guy disappeared. He turned around to face Adam, he smiled and said

"I'm going to answer your questions now. What was the first one again? Oh! you wanted to know why you failed to enter the Purgatory and was brought here, right?"

"Yes, that was my first question."

"Where do I start... First, do you know what the purgatory is?" The old man asked, if Adam knew what it was, then the explanation would be much easier to do.

"Of course! Based on Christianity, the purgatory is the place where every human would enter after their death to purify their souls by burning all of their sins before they go to heaven"

Adam answered, he was not the religious type of guy but he still believed that there was a God above that created their universe. Without that, how did Earth came to existence? And did not make sense to say that it came to be naturally, There must have been someone who created it.

"That's the case, so you and the other two failed to enter the Purgatory and by that, I mean that some Strong being tried to absorb your souls since they were quite the big ones. And before he could bring you to their domain, I was ordered to bring your souls to my domain"

Adam was surprised at first but calmed down and started to digest the information. It was quite odd, but he did not feel like this old man was not lying, mostly because people who lie tend to stretch the story to make more believable. The more simple the story told is, the more truthful it is.

"So there is someone above you giving orders?"

"Yes, there is someone above me giving orders."

"Then there isn't only one 'god', And about that 'being' that tried to absorb our souls, why did he want to do that?"

"I'm not a god. I was just a strong being from that happened to recruited by the All-Mighty as a planet overseer. There is someone above me and he is the Milky way's overseer" Adam was again hit by another wave of information

"Also, that guy that tried to eat you soul tried to do it because it could help him augment his force which could earn him a spot as an overseer," The old man said and waited for Adam to digest the information

"Alright, so, you're most likely the overseer of planet Earth, so how can you Reincarnate us in another world if your authority is limited to Earth?"

"The All-Mighty permitted me to, that's why you had to wait for sometime before you saw me. The order was getting relayed to me by my superior, you're asking a lot of questions too. Why don't you make a wish, I have matters to attend to" The old man said

"But I have a lot of questions left!" Adam complained, he wasn't satisfied yet. The old man only rose the number of questions in his head with his answers.

"You'll find out after you become strong enough, now make your wish"

"What do you mean by that?" Adam was confused, he had an idea of what the old man wanted to say but he still asked just to confirm it.

"There are things in this universe that even I don't know unless you become a higher being your knowledge would always be limited. So if you want to know more, just work hard and try to reach a higher level than my own" The old man said clarifying Adam's doubts.

"Tsk, alright. I want to still have my memories intact after transmigrating"

Right now, this was the best wish he could make. Maybe if he had another one he could wish for a system but he did not. Like, how can you use your system if you don't even know that you have one or how can you have an advantage over your brothers if you don't know that you were reborn?

'With the knowledge of my past life, I can accomplish a lot of things in this new world' Adam thought.

"OK! You're good to go." And with a snap of his fingers, he made Adam disappear.

Twelve years have passed since Adam was reincarnated in this new world. Through various researches, including reading books, Adam discovered that this world is named Eflora. Also, from the various history and geography books he has read, he discovered that this world does not have continents, it is only one big continent and some small Islands in the middle of the water surrounding the continent.

From a guy coming from Earth, it was kind of weird but he quickly dispersed that thought process. Adam also found out that the continent named [The Main Land] is divided into seven Empires. He was reborn in the second strongest Empire named Maltova Empire, which is divided into seven kingdoms and each kingdom into five cities.

Right now, he is in the worst and poorest kingdom under the Empire, Amaryllis State. And within Amaryllis State, he lives in the less populated city, Aspen city, named like that maybe because of the Aspen tree species present on the west side of the City.

Aside from that he has been trying to push this new body of his to the limit and utilize all of it's potential to maximize his strength grows speed. Also by using magic, he learned to use from his dad when he was seven years old, Adam started his plans. He tried to use his past knowledge as a novel reader to maximize his grows and for sure it kinda works the same way they describe it there but also when you look at it, it is way different.

But, since there is a library in Aspen city he passed most of his early years memorizing every little knowledge you could find there. Maybe if he goes to better cities he could find better knowledge.

When Adam was seven and finally started learning magic, he started gathering men to be in his crew and as a twelve years old kid, he managed very well to gather around 7 to 8 hundreds People dispersed throughout the city working under him and this time he made sure to tell his father to infuse loyalty in their skulls during their training. Aside from the training times, he is pretty much cool with all of them.

He also started doing a different kind of business, for example, he started cultivating various fruits and vegetables that existed on Earth and that are not present here using the grains he had picked up inside the forest, 'Is it a coincidence or did that old man do this!', That's what he thought back then.

He also opened many restaurants with people he has trained himself, as a past five-star chef himself, managing them and also, a big dojo, supervised by him and his dad, who is a monster when it comes to fighting, but the dojo is just a pretext to train and build his army without anyone noticing since all of the students of the dojo are part of the crew.

Also, his dad has been very suspicious of him, since his maturity and calmness are way over the norm compared to a kid his age, hell, even compared to some adults. But, he did not question him and that helped Adam to focus on his development and at the same time search for a definite answer when the day comes.

His father, Alexander, is pretty much one of the Strongest and most Intelligent people he has met in all of his two lives. So, Adam is convinced that half-assed answers would only increase his father's doubts. So Adam made a mental note, to make his father help him by all costs in his new endeavor.
