Ch. 5 Fire Red Goblin King!

After Jin was done with his stats and skills, he noticed that all of his wounds recovered due to the system.

Therefore, he got up and picked up the goblin bodies so he could sell them later then he started walking again. After about 1 hour of walking, he found 10 Goblins, yet this time, he didn't get any emergency quests, he speculated that it only gives you those quests when your life is in danger.

This time, however, he was prepared.

With his newfound speed, he appeared in front of the entire group of goblins, all of them rushed at him, and he decided to activate Fire Fist in one hand and summon an Ice shard in his other hand

He immediately destroyed 4 goblins with only his Ice Shard, and he killed all of the others with ease due to the sheer power of the punches with Fire Fist.

Jin noticed that the rewards increased when levelling up, when he was level 2, he only got 5 stat points, now he gets 10 per level.

Jin appreciated this since he knew in the future it would be way harder to level up and 5 stat points for hours of grinding wouldn't be worth it.

After a few hours of walking and grinding, he reached level 7.

Then, Jin noticed something weird, he noticed far away there was a flat piece of land, this intrigued him, since he thought the entire dungeon was a jungle, so, he decided to go there.

After arriving there, he immediately had to go a little further back to hide in some trees, since he saw close to a hundred goblins moving about and a very large goblin in the middle of the pack.

" Shit, that must be the dungeon boss, it wouldn't be much of a problem if it were only the boss, but those goblins would prove to be annoying."

So, he decided to sneak up on them, Jin decided to use his 30 stat points evenly, 10 to strength, 10 to speed, and 10 to intelligence, This made him feel more confident about beating this boss.

Jin noticed that his dexterity was lacking, he would be sure to pay attention to it later, however he wasn't worried much due to his passive skill Steel Body.

First things first, he decided to quickly take care of 10 goblins that were further away from the pack, and then little by little, he reduced the numbers by a large amount, he only levelled up twice since the amount of EXP needed for levelling up increased by a lot.

He was very happy with the level reward increase, nonetheless, right now he would focus on the boss.

After defeating the last of the goblins, Jin finally showed himself to the boss, instantly, the boss rushed at him like a tiger catching its prey.

Jin barely moved in time and managed to avoid the tackle.

For some reason, Jin was very excited, all his life, he was ridiculed and made fun of for not having powers, and he would spend his adult days working a minimum wage job.

His personality slowly withered away and he lost all emotions for everyone except his sister.

Yet.. this was.. blood pumping. It made me feel excited to do something for once.

It felt like I was a kid again!

And, Jin screamed, at the top of his lungs: I'M BACK!

Jin immediately cringed, but now wasn't the time for that.

Completion Reward: 1 Level Up, Unlock system shop, 300 Gold, 50 Stat Points, 5 Skill Points, Random S Rank Skill

Failure Penalty: Death.

Jin was shocked by every single letter in that quest, but now wasn't the time. The boss was rushing at him with mighty speed.

He dodged yet again with difficulty.

But Jin didn't stop there, he threw 3 Ice Shards at the boss

That did decent damage, but not enough to bring down his health.

The boss, however, was getting frustrated and was now starting to use his bat, this bat looked way more formidable then the other bats that the goblins had,

So Jin knew if he got hit by that, he would perish, considering the strength stat of that monster.

After dodging it, he jumped on top of the goblins body and went on its back, and there, he went all out.

He activated Fire Fists and kept bombarding the goblin with punches infused with fire from the back. And then put all of his power into the last punch

Due to the sheer amount of force in each punch, the boss eventually fell over, and Jin thought it was time to attack.

Yet the goblin knew that, so it immediately pushed itself back up and slammed

Jin to the ground with his fists

"AGH!!" Jin screamed in agony.

Jin knew that if he didn't get up right now, he would die.

So with what little working bones he had left, he got up, he knew that if it weren't for steel body reducing nearly 50% of the damage, he would've died.

However, Jin remembered something, his stat points!

While the boss was still recovering from his punches, Jin immediately opened his stat panel and invested 10 Points into dexterity, 20 into speed and 20 into strength.

Jin now felt like a monster, his speed now almost seemed too fast, his body now could probably withstand 3 more attacks even with only 50 HP.

He is now, after all, a C+ Hunter. And this boss is only E+.

So, he decided to go for the finisher, he made 5 Ice shards, and in his other hand, he readied his strongest possible punch, both of them rushed at each other.

Jin was smiling.

*BOOM!*

When the bat and fist collided, it made such an impact that the surrounding jungle was no where to be found anymore.
