CH 24 #Maths kills Love

Lia walked towards the library with her bag .

Day after the Ball , was declared as a holiday , Many went out to enjoy . Many were sleeping , And few people like Lia were walking towards the library so that they could study .

Arran went to visit her mother . Theo was still sleeping . It was 1Pm and Lia was bored .Thus she thought to use this time to study.

She slumped down the chair and opened her maths book .

"I don't know anything " Lia banged her head on the table .

"Shhhh keep your voice down !" the library monitor scolded her .

Lia pursed her mouth and turned her maths pages .

2Hours later .

Lia finished reading "The Book thief" She sighed happily .

But her happiness was short lived when her gaze swifted towards the abandoned Maths book .

The novel fall off her hands making A loud THUMP ! noise .

"Shhhh... please keep your voice down !"

Lia burst "How can I keep my voice down !! I have to score A in calculus !! But I don't understand any word of this book!!" Lia cried .

"Shhhh ... please keep your voice down !"

The monitor spoke again .

"Are you a robot ?? " Lia yelled

Next she knew was , Sitting outside the gates of library .And passerby's were looking at her .

Lia stood up and walked towards the main ground so that she could sit down under a tree and study .

Lia vowed to take revenge . But she wanted to strip everything Aaxin possessed .

Her first step was to excel in academics so that she could stand first . Lia knew that Aaxin's strongest point was maths .

Lia was forced to take maths because she failed miserably in her horse riding lessons .

*** Flashback

" Okay class I will first test you all lads . Don't you think that horse riding is an easy sport . I don't want beginners in my class so all of you GO !!!" Mrs Rose yelled at the 30 students in front of her and instructed them to pick up their horses .

Lia walked towards the black horse , She felt attracted towards the majestic beauty .

"Don't take that horse " A girl warned .

"Why ??" Lia asked .

"It's a very rude horse ..... Nobody usually picks him " The girl sat on her white horse

and rode away .

Lia looked around and saw that there were no any other horse left ."seems like you and I are meant to be " Lia sighed and tried to sit on his back .

"NEIGHHHH!!!!" The horse became angry and tried to yank lia off .

Lia yelp and sticked herself on the horse's body like a leech .

The horse took off . Charging towards Mrs Rose . "Ahhh somebody !!!! call The staff" Mrs Rose ran Like a cheetah who was being trailed by a very angry black horse and leech lia .

And few hours later ...

Lia was sitting with Arran in the maths class . She just kept looking at those strange numbers and didn't understand anything .

All thanks to Mrs Rose who changed her subject from horse riding to Maths .

******End of the flashback.

Lia cried again "What the hell!!! why its so difficult" She angrily munched cheese sticks .

While sitting under the tree.

"Need Help??" Lia heard a voice from the bushes .

She turned back and yelped . She saw a boy hiding in the bushes . Who was staring down at her books .

"Who - who are you ?" Lia questioned.

"Oh sorry I am Vincent " He smiled awkwardly and scratched the back of his neck .

"You said that you can help me with this stuff ..... Can you??" She asked with hope gleaming in her eyes .

Vincent was taken a back by her behavior he smiled and said "Yep it's easy for me !!"

Mike came back after meeting his spies . He was very angry .

His next step was to talk with Ling Lin , so that she could stop those rumors that she had been throwing around . About how she and mike kissed on the day of ball.

Though he was termed as the playboy by the media , he would never touch a girl without her permission . Also after Meeting lia , He didn't find any girl that held his interest even for a second .

He kept walking towards the main ground , but he suddenly stopped.

He saw Lia and a boy with the glasses laughing and eating together with their books opened .

His was about to charge towards her direction , when a shrill voice rang "MIKEEEEE!!!!!" Ling Lin ran towards him and hugged him .

Mike was taken aback . He held her shoulders so that he could keep his balance .

Lia was enjoying the way Vincent was teaching her .She was about to take another bite of cheese sticks , but she heard Ling Lin's voice screaming Mike's name .

She at once jerked her head up and saw Ling Lin hugging Mike and Mike holding Ling Lin's shoulder .

The students there gasped . Some looked towards Lia , because she was the first girl with whom Mike appeared in public .While Some were busy taking photos.

Her cheese sticks tasted sour . She dipped her head low .

"Do you want to get out of this place ??" Vincent asked .

"Yes " She couldn't say anything more .

She herself was confused . Why she felt pain in her heart? . She hated Mike .Then why she was sad when she saw mike and Ling Lin together??

Vincent grabbed her books and held his hand out so that she could stand .

Lia didn't took his hand and stood up on her own . She didn't had the courage to look towards Mike .

"Let's call this session off for today then?? I have taught you enough and you can go back and practice the questions I have marked " Vincent said .

Lia Nodded and walked back without looking towards Mike .

She was not here to have fun.

She was not here to find love .

She was here for her future .

Her revenge .

For once she didn't looked back at the commotion behind her .

Mike kept looking towards lia but she didn't even looked up to meet his eyes . He then saw Vincent giving him a smirk and walking away .

He felt the anger surge inside him . He pushed Ling Lin down on the ground and yelled "Who are you?? who gave you the power to destroy my name !! I will make sure that Lin's will face The LONG'S wrath !! you just wait and watch how I destroy your legacy" Mike walked back towards his room .

Ling Lin sat their with wide eyes her face was white with fear . People stared to point towards her . Some even shoved her .

Ling Lin lashed "How dare you shove me!!"

The girl looked back towards her and laughed "oh! dear !! says who ? the slut !! you will go die tomorrow bitch !!" everyone else stared to laugh .

Ling Lin then realized that people only respect the one who has the power .

They were the same people who clapped and hooted for her when she was called on the stage .

They all carve for power . If it's lost .... they will kill you .

Ling Lin stood up at once and ran after Mike .
