It seemed that every student realized that ....

5 days were left for the ball!!!.

Everyone was running around the main hall looking for the prettiest girl to go with.

Arran received many proposal for the ball , after the news spread that she was not just a distinct relative of the rongs.

She was in fact, the heiress of THE RONGS . One of the main Rong member.

But sadly she accepted none.

" Why are you not accepting any request's? " lia asked during the lunch time .

As usual they sat at the farthest corner of the hall. But now , many people were surrounding them while, very few people were sitting at the center table .

It seemed that legendary center table has lost its charm.

Though no body dared to sit and chat with the duo , but almost everybody's ears were towards them.

"What the heck ! I hate this ball !, why can't we have something else ?? I will ask the council of school to change the ritual!!" Arran banged her head on the table .

Lia was busy stuffing her mouth with pasta , and was about to grab the chocolate muffin when Arran cried again ."Why are you busy eating!! Help me please!! I have to go or else mom will kill me !"

lia casually replied "then go , you have many choices , just pick one . Dance with them and throw them"

"You are so casual on this matter huh?? did any one of the guys asked you out " Arran asked

Lia chocked her pasta and stared towards Arran who sat their with arms crossed and pouted like a child.

"yea ..... NONONO!!! nobody asked me" lia quickly replied.

Arran was shocked "What!! are you Kidding me !! you don't have any partner?? you are so beautiful !! wait ..... lemme set you up with someone " Arran was about to stand up but lia grabbed her arm .

"Are you crazy?? I will find someone you worry about your self " she forced Arran to sit down.

" This ball contains our behavior marks don't you know that?? its important to go and find someone plus you Haven't decided your dress yet!!" Arran was going ballistic.

Lia was fed up with Arran and her non stop chattering .In anger, she stuffed her favorite chocolate muffin inside Arran's mouth .

Arran was instantly quietened " humm..... its tasty ..... why didn't I tried it earlier?? "

On the other hand , Lia was crying

"So class" Ms Green clapped her hands , she was glowing like an angle today which was kind off terrifying.

" I won't be teaching you till the ball , actually none of the teachers will teach you . So that you can learn and practice dance and buy your perfect dress because the first impression is the last impression. "

With this Ms Green skipped out of the classroom dismissing the students.

"Did you saw the angelic aura on the demon's face? it's terrifying... I bet that she will be sleeping in her room. While we dance around" Arran huffed .

"Go find your partner . Use this time" lia banged her on her head with her book.

"Aiii !! you act like you have found your partner. Have you though???" Arran said while massaging her head.

lia turned back and replied "no" and she walked towards the library.

Arran was stunned for the moment 'What?? how can she be so carefree??'

Suddenly a hand was placed on Arran's shoulder .

"AHHHAAA" Arran yelled .

"Relax idiota I am not a ghost" a soft sweet voice whispered near her ear.

Arran shudder and looked back , she found a familiar blonde boy with whom she danced last time.

Lia walked towards the history section to read about the history of the Kingston palace.

The palace was converted into school.

While Lia was engrossed in reading the book . A certain someone pulled the chair and sat next to her .

"Hi "

Lia was beyond irritated by this familiar voice she whipped her head towards the Blonde guy.

"Bark"

"So I am a dog now in front of your eyes now?"

"bark"

"Do you know know how to dance?"

lia's frowned "no...."

Mike immediately grabbed lia's hand and pulled her "so what are you waiting for let's go and practice!" .

"nop-" before she could speak anything mike started to drag lia towards the exit of the library.

"Hey !! do you even listen to me ?? at least once?" lia was angry, but eventually walked next to mike .

mike was holding lia's hand all way long, even though she didn't knew where they were headed to , she kept staring at the hand that clasped hers .

"Where are we??" lia asked when she saw a small beautiful enclosed garden with beautiful unknown flowers blooming here and there .

"This .... place is very close to my heart , I always used to come here whenever I was tired or wanted to skip the class" mike winked and led her to the center of the small garden .Sun rays were falling all around the garden except the center.

"This..... is so gorgeous....." lia muttered .

she kept staring towards the flowers and the gate.

" no one knows about this place so stop looking at the gate" mike told her .

Her shoulder slumped in relief and she walked towards the flowers touching them and examining them.

Her eyes sparked with bright youthful light.

Which was lost somewhere.

Mike walked towards her while lia had her back facing him as she examined the flowers. He slipped his both arms around her waist .

Lia suddenly jumped as she felt mike putting his arms around her waist as he rested his chin on her shoulder. "Wha-?" lia couldn't move she stood like a pole , rigid.

"shhh.... be quite for a minute" he stared at the flowers and said .

" those are orchids. Aren't they beautiful? "

lia relaxed after some time " yeah they are beautiful in fact I love them !!"

"me too"

They stared at the orchids for few more minutes. Mike pulled himself away , hesitantly.

"Let's learn come" he positioned lia across him .

" So let's start with the basic .... all you need to do is , put your hand on my shoulder and ..." mike went on telling her the position and guiding her hands .

" isn't it a little to intimate?? " lia asked when she realized her position .

They were standing a little too close . Mike had his arms around her back while lia had her arms around his shoulder . Her lips were centimeter away form mike's . He kept staring at her eyes and lips .

*cough* * cough* * cough*

Lia pulled away from mile and stated coughing.

Though she won't admit it , but she wanted to close the distance between them.

" Let's do it tomorrow its enough for today " mike said disappointment laced in his voice.

Lia practically ran out of the room .

While mike sat down smiling as he sighed.
