12 The Other Woman

- Shen Residential Gate -

A silhouette of a busty woman standing next to a white horse became visible into his vision. He was walking toward her with his black beauty horse that was given by the emperor. The voluptuous woman was running toward him excitingly and hugging him tightly. Before he could push her away, she was landing a wet peck on his lips.

He wiped his mouth and shoved her away, and with a dangerous tone of voice, he said, "Marilyn.., let go of me.., traitorous woman!"

"No.., Marshal Shen...I had left my brother.., I left the rebels organization for good..., look.., I even stole my brother horse for you..., he definitely will kill me for this..., I want to be you woman, for eternity..., also.., my cruel brother planned to kill Leah..... I am also here to protect my daughter!" she talked with him sincerely while glancing at him with a smitten look.

He sighed heavily and thought inwardly. Such an irony, what he wanted he couldn't have, what he discarded goes back to haunt him.

"All right..., followed me!"

Two guards have opened the big gate right away upon seeing him. While ten private guards that were following him to the headquarters was finally caught up with him and entering the gate with them.

"Go with me to the office and let me know the details of the rebel's plan, Marilyn Shen!"

Her face was illuminated with a generous smile and she nodded to the powerful man excitingly.

Three days later.

He had been busy making plans for a counterattack of the Rebels plan. Also, he still couldn't decide whether to take Venn Lee offer. His heart was dead with his late wife, but why he felt alive when he was with her. Was it just sex or something deeper? If it was only for sex then he should take her offer right away, but he was unable to accept her offer because he didn't want to just be one of her flings. He couldn't offer her a marriage but he would promise her that he would not take any other woman as his mistress.

Lost in thought, he didn't realize that he had headed to the backyard. A little girl with a beautiful princess gown ran toward him and jumped to his embrace, while she was followed by a vulgar woman whose dress was cut so low that she was almost topless, but the sight didn't stir his libido.

"Daddy..., I want to go somewhere with you and mommy!", she begged him with puppy eyes.

"Leah..., daddy still busy with work.., go with your mommy and buy whatever you want.., for your security, twenty guards will protect you!"

He reached inside his pocket and gave Marilyn his banknotes. Marilyn smiled happily. Besides loving the powerful man, she also loved to spend his money. While for Damian Shen, money was not a problem as long as Marilyn Shen out from his sight. She definitely had changed to be a kind-hearted woman, but he was feeling empty and lost even when she was trying hard to seduce him.

He missed the plain woman. No other woman could quench his thirst but her.

- At the training ground -

Venusa was looking around to find a familiar figure, but nothing. The training session was done five minutes ago and the icy man was still not around.

Walking side by side with Venn Lee, Nick Lang was in a good mood because he hadn't seen the annoying man for three days. From a soldier that was stationed at Marshal Shen residence, he found out about the other woman, the mother of his child.

Happily, he informed Venn Lee of the news, " Venn.., I found out that Marshal Shen had been busy with a beautiful woman, the mother of his child who just came back from overseas!"

Venusa's mind was blank when she heard of the information. Her thought ran wild. He didn't need me now.., the other woman would accompany him instead of her.

Nick Lang could feel from her expression that she was thinking of Damian Shen. He snarled, " Why do you still think of him, Venn? He is a womanizer and he didn't respect of a one on one relationship.... Please be my wife instead! I had been in love with you since the day I met you!"

He had been proposing to her every single day since they met, but she had taken it as a joke and instead, she kept rejecting him and only wanted to be his best friend.

"You could not force love, Nick!" She was looking at him tenderly, shaking her head and replying, " My answer is still a 'No'! My heart only belongs to him! I am a firefly and he is my flame! In this life, I only have two options for this ill-fated love, either I die for his love or be lonely for the rest of my life.., I choose the latest.., I am sorry.., I couldn't love another man, Nick Lang!"

Nick Lang sighed and hissed at her to say, " I won't give up unless you pick the first option! I will accompany you to your lonely life!"

She was unable to answer anymore. If Damian Shen never exists in her life, she would be grateful to have his love, instead, she had rejected his love so many times but he still won't give up unless she becomes Damian Shen woman. She was in dilemma, in her old life, she had chosen to leave Damian Shen twice, in her new life, would she leave him the third time?

- The Rebels cave -

"Leader.., just like you plan.., Marilyn left to inform Marshal Shen of the wrong plan.., however, she took your precious horse and giving it to him." a mousy skinny man reported the news point-blank.

"When I killed Marshal Shen.., I will get my white beauty back.., meanwhile, we have to make sure that our plan would be fail-proof.., after getting rid the military power in the capital city, we can advance to the Emperor city and killed the bastard emperor! Ha Ha Ha..." he was laughing evilly while imagining of killing all his enemies to revenge his clan extermination.

"Leader.., we had made a lot of bombs to create havoc in the Capital city and destroy the Emperor city! Do you want to take your sister and your niece alive?" he asked for his leader command with anticipation.

Instead, his leader slapped him hard and spoke harshly, " No one will kill another member of my family.., tell all the men to make sure of their safe return.., go and prepare to implement our plan in a week!"

For a moment, the cold lone wolf was able to feel compassion towards his family. However, he was no longer human but a devil incarnate.., he had killed a lot of innocent people just to fulfill his revenge. He had vowed not to use his name until he could fulfill his revenge and hence he was known only as 'Leader', no one knows his real name..., not even his sister who had forgotten his name and her identity.
