4 Talk

King's POV

I was working in the study, but my mind couldn't focus on the work. It was focusing on something else. I needed to talk to my wife about this.

"Please call Queen Taeyeon." I asked a maid. Soon after my wife had arrived.

"What's wrong Heechul?" She asked. "I was thinking. Y/N is now twenty years old, she's in the right age of marriage. I heard that King Hyukjae was looking for a suitable woman to be the Queen of his son." I said looking out of the window. I heard my wife sigh.

"I do agree, but how would Y/N feel?" She asked. "Y/N would know it is for the Kingdom. Whether it is her's or her husband's." I said.

"Then we should discuss this matter with her, and Hongjoong. Now if you excuse me, I must go." She walked out.

Y/N would want this.

Right?

It was now nightfall and I decided this would be time to talk to the children about this matter.

"Please call the Queen, Prince, and Princess." I asked a maid. Soon they arrived and they sat down.

"Y/N dear. I think it is time for you to get married." I said. I looked over to her. She was staring at me.

Y/N's POV

Did he really say what I think he said?

"What?" I asked. "Well King Hyukjae is looking for a suitable woman for his son to marry as to him becoming King." I said. "B-But I do not wish to be married." I said quietly.

"I know dear, but you need to be Queen. You have reached the age." I said calmly. "Is there any way to be Queen without marriage?" I asked.

"That would only be acceptable if you were to be Queen of our Kingdom. However Hongjoong will be King so you will not be able to be Queen here." I responded.

"I-I understand." I said. I stood up and went to my room.

Hongjoong's POV

I felt bad for Y/N. But I asked her about her thoughts. She didn't talk about it. But she would be fine.

Right?

"Hongjoong?" My father called for me. "Yes father?" I asked. "What are your thoughts on becoming King." He asked. I smiled. "Very happy and honored." I said.

I got up and left to go to my room. I saw Y/N's door. I was hesitant. Should I ask her? Or does she need time?

I decided to leave her alone and went to my room.

Third Person's POV

Little did he know, it was a bad choice to leave her alone.
