4 Chapter 2: Friends?
Jessica POV ¥¥¥
" First, you do know that's not my name and second why do you want to sit here?" I asked curiously.
I seriously debated on if he was just fucking around with me. There was something about him that made me believe we've met before. Even if we hadn't, I was still intrigued by his dominating presence. It was hot. I'm not going to lie I liked that. I honestly didn't understand why he had so much power over my body.
When he approached me all my hairs would stand up and my heartbeat would quicken. I would be well aware that he was there. I've never felt that for anyone besides him. It kinda freaked me out but it made me want him more and more each time he came around.
"Well babycakes. My parents are friends with yours and your dad said that you would welcome us with open arms that doesn't really sound welcoming now does it?"
Must've been the same people my mom and Noah have been talking about last week. Apparently they were friends before i was born and me and their kids were friends. They left when i was really young to go help out there family pack and haven't been back until now. And ain't i glad for that. The moon goddess has blessed my eyes with this beautiful specimen.
"I guess you can do no harm, Sit" I said and they quickly filled in Michael sitting next to me and his brother across from me. I almost instantly regretted my decision. Mainly because he smelled delicious and I wanted to jump his bones right then and there.
"Oh where are my manners? This is my twin Rebecca, my oldest brother Jacob, my youngest brother Ej, my friend Asher, and this is Samantha" he says as he points to them and they wave. I wonder how he knows Sam? Maybe she tricked him into bringing her along. Bitch.
Samantha looked at him almost as if she was expecting something else from him but quickly turned back towards me. I forgot how much I hated her. She is the reason I got bullied in Middle school. But we were friends before that. Lexi ,Sam and I were inseparable once upon a time but now we hate each other.
All because one day Sam decides she didn't wanna be friends anymore. And that started the bullying and teasing we got as kids. It stopped when we ran her and her family out of town. Hmph I'm happy my family took the throne from hers. Good fucking riddance.
"Where'd you guys come from?" Kennedy asked.
"Somewhere in the outskirts of A town Named Royaldale. The rogues started to attack our pack everyday. We lost a lot of people but my parents came back here and decided we would stay. " Rebecca answered.
"Oh Royaldale that snobby place, I wonder how you ever survived those kids. ".Sarah said laughing
Ej shook his head "Lets just say they didn't fuck with us unless we fucked with them and even when we did they did nothing."he smirked
Royaldale is one of the richest kingdoms next to mines of course. They walked around with a nasty attitude just because they have the person who is descended from Midas himself making their gold for them. They had a good rack of soldiers .
I'll give them that. But their kids were terrible. I remember one time I almost killed the kings little girl because she ripped my Barbie head off and blamed me for it. I got in trouble that day. She was a bratty little thing but I'm just happy I'm not marrying into that family.
Kennedy and Jacob laughed. Jacob looked at her and she averted her eyes quickly. I had noticed there sneaky looks at one another and thought it was cute. So I mind linked her and told her that he was hot and she should go for it and she blush profusely and looked away ignoring me.
Sigh. Young love.
Micheal looked at my plate and took my cup of blood right off of my plate and gulped it down like he was starving. I watched as he held my stare and drank it all down, finishing with a loud sigh.
Hmph could've sworn he was a werewolf .
I stared at him for a while trying to understand just what he was. I had to know why I was so drawn to him. I found myself wanting to know everything about him. Like what he wanted to do when we graduated? Did he eat this morning? Was his life fulfilling? Did he have a hard time in Royaldale?
He raised an eyebrow at me which broke my little trance "What's going on in that little head of yours?" He said tucking my hair down my ear. Just by the little contact we had sent sparks flying everywhere. I wanted more than just a little graze over my skin. I wanted to know what it felt like to be under his body. I wanted to know what just one night would be like with me, him and my bed. Preferably no clothing.
I couldn't stop the dirty things that flooded my mind. And I didn't want to. Almost as if he could hear me he smirked at me before turning back and conversing again. I couldn't help but notice Sam glaring at me. I smiled at her giving her an innocent look which she just rolled her eyes to.
Damien had his gaze fixed on her. For some stupid reason he was looking like a lovesick puppy that just found its favorite chew toy. Ugh don't tell me he's stuck his dick in her to.
Damien looks up at her "Sammy is that you," squinting. " I haven't seen you in a while, where have you been?"Damien said hugging her,
Sammy? He has a nickname for her?
I was utterly shocked and confused when they hugged each other. Since when did they know each other and why haven't I known about it. I didn't like the fact that she was hugging him for too long might I add. Even if I didn't like him.
"Well you know my parents shipped me back here. Something about it wasn't safe ,but I'm glad to be back. Why are you here with her?" She spit out
"Oh we're arranged to be married and she's my girlfriend i guess ." He said looking down at his plate.
I couldn't help but notice the tiny growl that left Micheal's lips when he said that. It oddly made me happy.
She scoffed "Marriage huh you forgot about me that easily." She says staring at me.
He shook his head no quickly " I could never I'm only with her because of the deal my parents made." He sighed.
Me and you both buddy.
Damien's phone beeped and he started texting angrily on his phone and I assumed it was his parents but right when I was about to ask what was wrong when she spoke again.
"So Jess your going to be queen wow isn't that going to be hard for a girl like you?" Samantha asked daringly. Everyone's eyes turned towards me.
I quickly held down my rage, "No it's not going to be that hard I've been preparing for this my entire life you know just waiting patiently for your family to fuck up."
"Yeah but I just mean you don't seem like you can handle big deals like being queen and ruling mainly because of your little problem just wanted to see how you're holding up."
How did she know about my secret? Only my family and Damien knew.
"We should be asking you how you are holding up with what looks like you've been following them around like a puppy dog and your dad lost his right to the crown" Alexi said
I had known of Samantha's family. I knew that her family was a part of a human smuggling deal. They were the ones smuggling them inside the kingdom. Feeding on humans was illegal but they did it anyways risking our exposure. That's when my family took the throne. I didn't understand why she was with them. Her parents were banned from the kingdom a long time ago.
Kennedy looked like she knew it was coming but I knew she could sense my anger flaring. You could see Lex had struck a nerve as she clenched her jaw glaring at her. Damien looked up like he sensed what was happening but not moving.
"I don't follow them around you stupid bitch and don't talk about me or my family like that".
I laughed "And what if we don't want to stop what are you going to do about it?" I raised my eyebrows.
I was ready to punch her because nobody tried to test me at least not to my face.
"I'll show you exactly what I'm going to do you if you don't shut your stupid ass mouth!" Her chair skidded across the floor as she stood up hitting the table with a loud thud.
I laughed and rose to eye level " oh feisty aren't we Sammy?"
"I think we should take this outside Messy Jessi." She grinned
That's it I've had it with this bitch. First she bullies me and now she's trying to purposely get under my skin by calling me names I got teased with.
"You know what I just might have to beat your ass really quick because who in the actual fuck you think you talking to bitch!" I said lunging over Damien to hit her. But Micheal grabbed me and a shiver went down my spine. I oddly felt safe and calm.
"You can't start a fight in the middle of the cafeteria Jess she's not worth it." He whispered in my ear. I calmed down as he sat me down.
"Ok guys just chill out no need to make a scene or even fight we all know that's not going to end well." Asher said motioning for Sam to sit.
She smirked and put her hand on Damiens' thigh. He looked at her and smiled slightly. Oh hell no the fuck does she think she's doing. And why the hell is he enjoying it.
"Damien I missed you"
"Yeah me too Sammy glad you're ok after what happened". She smiled
"Yeah I know I have changed my ways since you last seen me last year but I came back for you"
I couldn't help but burst out into laughter, she was trying to make me angry. She glared, shooting daggers at me while I just laughed. Micheal stared at me amused by my action.
They all looked confused. She just wanted to get under my skin.
"I can't believe you thought by you putting your hand on his lap would make me jealous enough to beat your ass I mean you had me for a second there, but don't even think about trying anything like that again you dumbass bitch don't ever come to my table and try anything like that".
Everyone stared at me knowing what's about to come but Sam kept her hand there and she looked like she was ready for any little move I made almost like she was taunting me. Her eyes darted from me to Micheal but he wasn't even paying attention to her .
That's when I realized Micheals eyes hadn't left me and I turned around and stared back.
"What are you staring at?" I said.
He laughs " You're a crazy one princess." He says getting up " I'll catch you later babycakes come on Ash."As they leave I found myself wanting to get up and go with him. I quickly dismissed the thought.
And then I realized what he called me. It was in the same tone as the boy who had snuck into my room that one night. I had always wondered who he was after that night. Even after he tried to kill me. I understood now why everything about Micheal seemed like we had met before. It was him.
I got up, threw my tray away and grabbed my things. I had to go home to figure out how I was going to tell him I knew. I had to come up with a plan.
Before leaving I mindlinked the girls letting them know i was going home for the day. They all nodded deciding to leave with me.
Before we all left I turned to Sam and smirked "It's going to take much more than some bitch that doesn't know her place to get a rise out of me." I said before turning back around leaving the cafeteria.
