10 Chapter Ten

As Elara entered the music room for the first time, she found herself in a place of sophisticated charm. The walls were decorated with detailed tapestries depicting serene scenes, telling stories of the room's aristocratic history. The shiny wooden floor underfoot added to the room's classy vibe.

A large chandelier hung from the ceiling, casting a warm light that made the crystals twinkle like diamonds. The air carried a faint scent of old wood and fresh flowers strategically placed around the room.

A beautiful harp stood against one wall, its strings gleaming, ready for Lady Amara to play. On a nearby table, there were vibrant paints and brushes, showing Lady Celestia's artistic side. Elara admired the colorful paintings in progress, each stroke capturing Lady Celestia's creativity.

Across from the harp, a mahogany table showcased Lady Seraphina's carefully crafted handkerchiefs, highlighting her skill in needlework. Despite the room's richness, it felt warm and welcoming, inviting creativity and friendship.

The room echoed with Lady Amara's harp playing, the soft sound of Lady Seraphina sewing, and Lady Celestia's brushstrokes on canvas.

"The celebration for my son's return is a big deal, right, Lady Amara?"Lady Celestia started a conversation.

"Absolutely, Lady Celestia.Celebrating the success of our Kingdom Eldoria and his return calls for a grand celebration. My harp is already singing with joy."Lady Amara said with a smile while playing the harp.

"It's a happy occasion, after all.Who knows maybe he would find someone who piques his interest at this celebration or His Majesty would give him a bride "Lady Seraphina said while her entire focus was on the handkerchief she was making.

She didn't notice Lady Celestias who visibly stiffened. She didn't like the idea of her son getting an arranged marriage. She wanted her son to choose his bride out of love and she knew Lucius wasn't a fan of arranged marriage either.

In the midst of the activities, Elara approached with neatly arranged music sheets. "Everything's coming together well." Elara said which caught Lady Celestia's attention.

Lady Celestia, taking a break from painting, complimented Elara. "Elara, you're great at organizing everything. I appreciate having you with us. How's the feast preparation going?"

"The chefs are working hard, my lady. The feast will be delicious, fitting for your brave son's return."Elara replied, while staying calm and giving a curt bow.

Elara took charge of setting up decorations, checking food ingredients, and organizing the utensils and cutlery for the upcoming celebration in Lady Celestia stead. As she surveyed the meticulous arrangement, a sense of pride swelled within her.

She reveled in the responsibility entrusted to her, ensuring everything was in perfect order. She was happy that she was given the opportunity and she wasn't going to allow anything to go wrong

Yet, as she delved deeper into the preparations, a flicker of worry crept into Elara's thoughts. The weight of the occasion bore down on her, and she found herself hoping fervently that she wouldn't make any mistakes. The decorations, the ingredients, and even the choice of utensils carried the weight of Lady Celestia's expectations, and Elara was determined not to falter in delivering a flawless celebration.

"My dear ladies, as we prepare for the celebration, I've been contemplating how we might show appreciation to our devoted maids. Any thoughts?"Lady Celestia asked

Lady Amara, her fingers delicately tracing the harp strings, spoke with a warm smile. "I was thinking, perhaps, personalized tokens of gratitude. A piece of jewelry, maybe, or a finely crafted accessory."

Lady Seraphina, still focused on her needlework, nodded in agreement. "Yes, something meaningful and lasting. Perhaps embroidered handkerchiefs or small trinkets that reflect our appreciation."

Lady Celestia turned to Elara and asked, "And what about you, Elara? What would you appreciate as a token of gratitude for your hard work?"

Elara, maintained her composure, replied with genuine sincerity, "My lady, the honor of serving you and contributing to the celebration is reward enough. However, if I may express a preference, perhaps a small, handwritten note would mean a great deal."

Lady Celestia, touched by Elara's humility, smiled warmly. "A handwritten note it shall be, then. Your dedication is truly admirable, Elara."
